I've done 139 matches in For Glory mode so far after two days. Only a 71.94% win rate at 100 wins, though, so that's a bit disappointing. Gonna have to keep at it to reach 80%, though assuming I won all of my next games it'd still take 56 wins in a row, if my calculations are correct.

What is it about online play that could cause input lag without any game lag? Sometimes my controls will just randomly have half a second or so of input lag, which makes fighting really difficult. I never have the issue when not playing online, the loading screen in online matches never has the issue, and I can immediately play another game with someone else online and I won't have the input lag I did from the match I fought previously. I just randomly get it from some people, and it consistently happens should I repeatedly fight that person, though it's only happened a few times.

"When playing online, your connection with your opponent will sometimes result in a heightened input delay as the game attempts to keep the frame rate at 60, but playing against someone of considerable distance will result in some input lag. This is where input lag comes in to play."

Ah, ok then. Yeah, sounds like that'd do it.

Also, somewhat related, since I'm guessing you got that quote from SmashBoards, you can use Ctrl+Shift+V to paste text as it'd normally appear. So it'd negate stuff like bold, italics, color, and backgrounds on the text, like with SmashBoard's dark one.

I've decided Bowser Jr. will be the first newcomer I get good with.

Super Smash Bros for the Wii U is the bee's knees.

I really am impressed on how such a good job was done with designing and balancing the newcomers as well as retouches on the old ones. From Bowser's or Pit's overhaul to reducing Wario's vulnerability from some attacks, everyone plays pretty awesomely.

A bunch of my friends have been at my dorm this weekend to play, and some general impressions were:

Robin's awesome.

Shulk is very good, but has a learning curve.

Wii Fit Trainer's weird, but is awesome for harnessing the power of the sun.

We all wish Mega Man was better, though 2 of us like him.

Pac-Man isn't very good, but is so much fun to play.

Some of us really liked Little Mac, others did not.

Palutena's fun.

I seem to be the only one who "gets" Greninja as a whole, don't really understand what's so confusing about his Side B and other stuff .-.

Mii Brawler was designed for Rock Lee, almost sure of this conspiracy.

And uh, the Smash board thing's pretty meh.

I need to try online matches soon, hopefully will make time post-homework today.

But yeah, this is the game I've always been waiting for and I was not disappointed. Congrats on another fantastic video game, Nintendo.

Smash boards what?

Also yeah, Lee Brawler = Rock Lee, they weren't even subtle.

Considering it was clearly molded that way....
Was that mass-produced that way? O,o

I'm assuming there was a mix up in the assembly of it, since I think it's built in parts then put together.

So I like playing Yoshi, and I gotta say, his new dash attack is fucking awesome.
