The wi-fi people are complaining about is player to player. It's your Internet that's "ech ech ech." I've played matches online that felt purely natural.

And that changes anything how? The timing's still gonna be off whether it's my own w-fi's fault or Nintendo's.

I feel the need to post this:

Because....
.....
Let's face it. There are people out there who use Sm4sh like a weird Garry's Mod.
And the results are rather amusing.

But anyway...
Here's a question for you guys:
What character(s) do you typically run into the most, when online?
Me, I get Toon Links and Lucinas.

I always run into Little Macs, Luigis and Ganondorfs for reason.

If you mean timing as in dodging and crap then it's really not.

It really is. Even if slight. The same thing happens with the more recent online fighting games. It's not much, but it's different and enough so that no one practices for tournaments by playing online.

Considering I play Marth as my secondary, there's definitely a difference.

True fact.

I guess the only legitimate complaint is that it clutters the character select screen, but that's a nitpick.

TAG (who I'm still trying to get back here) was telling me about the post. We more or less agreed clones aren't so much the problem as when clones return, especially when they could have a more unique set of specials. AKA, Ganon and Toon Link. This olds for Dark Pit too, but thats less of an issue for reasons Sakurai brought up.

Was playing against a friend online.

Maybe your friend is just really good. And doing well with a character doesn't necessarily mean you main them or not.

Heck, I played the heck out of Solimar in Brawl, you think I was successful with him? (Ok, somewhat, but usually only when there were items.)

Speaking of which, how is Link is this game?

I highly doubt this.

You weren't watching though, you don't know.

He's good with Link, but I kept feeling like I should be beating him.

Link's okay. It's really just a bunch of Arrows and boomerangs and bombs and more boomerangs and then dash attack and then upB.

On the other hand, we played a mirror with Villager and one with Greninja. Greninja one was funny because we kept misdirecting our counters and attacks at the same time so that we basically mirrored each other constantly, and then the Villager one was fun because I pocketed his tree and killed him with it.

I actually think this is Link at his best. He's REALLY powerful, and decently agile. Also he can tank like no one his size should be able to. And projectiles.

if Mario was average at everything, Link would be the 'above average at everything' guy.

Except recovery. He still sucks at recovery.

I posted this sometime last week when HRC was brought up:

XD

I kind of feel like the rest of the Smash crew was just sitting there watching as the Sandbag flew off into the distance, before twinkling out of sight like a star, then looked at the two Ganondorfs with a, "Are you f*cking serious dudes?" look on their collective faces.

Like so

On a side note I FINALLY beat Intensity Level 9.0 with Captain Fabulous no less!

Captain Falcon is the Gatekeeper of Smash Bros. All wannabe newcomers must go through him before they are deemed worthy of joining the playable roster. In short, you must show him your moves.

Since then I've managed to get the 10/15 character wins I need for that one challenge . . .

And here is some funny Smash Brothers pictures for all of you guys!
