Hands go both ways for me. I mean outside of dumb stuff like Gar Plain and Jars of Wind, 9.0 is manageable.

Sheik makes the hands a joke with her down-b though.

What do people think of Charizard? I've been finding him easier to combo with despite being slower, but I haven't brought him to Lv9 yet.

I love Charizard. He has everything I want in a smash character. Decently fast. Good aerials and smashes. Good recovery. Can spike. Is great.

You seem to be taking this oddly seriously. It's a game, you're supposed to have fun.

Honestly from the way they're talking, I am assuming they're mostly kidding around honestly.

Anyway, eventually I will work up the nerve to lose to you people, but it is not this day.

I think I'm gonna try using Zelda. She uses magic like Robin so it might be similar.

But the hands are the easiest part....
Gimmicky, but still.

Gimmicky is the key word. And seriously ONE HIT KOs are NOT fun! I've been able to beat the other forms of the Master Core but on Level 9.0 the Twin Hands seem to always, or almost always, use a cheap shot to take one of my lives- then it's usually the Giant of the Beast which kills me. Maybe once or twice the swords do me in . . .

Yeah the other levels aren't difficult for me, unless something insanely stupid happens. I'll try using Sheik in 9.0- see how far I get.

I feel the need to post this:

Because....
.....
Let's face it. There are people out there who use Sm4sh like a weird Garry's Mod.
And the results are rather amusing.

But anyway...
Here's a question for you guys:
What character(s) do you typically run into the most, when online?
Me, I get Toon Links and Lucinas.

Oh, my apologies, I tend not to look at people's profiles.

And just because DL said it doesn't mean you telling me he said it is exactly a nice thing.

I said nothing of the sort.

I'm pretty good, and have improved a lot recently, but I'm definitely not so cocky as to assume that I'm the best. I'd like to face you at some point, though, because I actually like facing strong people.

Well thank you, you didn't seem like the kind of person to say that I suck and all my friends suck.

And like I said, it's only for Smash Bros., since that's the only series where I'm actually good enough to win comp stuff.

So, you guys know how people always complain about clones "taking up spots on the roster"? Sakurai made a post regarding that, which I quite liked:

"There are 3 fighters [Lucina, Dark Pit, and Doctor Mario] that are alternate models (clones) in the game. Each was originally a color variation, but during development, they were given balanced characteristics. Since their functionality had differences, forms were separated from each other. However, it was vital that this didn’t increase the required man-hours. Some relative tuning was sufficient as it wasn't necessary to create balancing from scratch.

This is like a free dessert after a luxurious meal that was prepared free of charge. In a restaurant with this type of service, I don’t think there’s anybody who would say, 'Change this to a meat dish!!' Yet, I’m told [to do that] about Smash Bros. But, I guess since a lot of them are children, it cannot be helped.

Could you please leave it to me to select [characters] with man-hours and costs in mind? However you look at it, the game is a great bargain buy as a result."

Also, TIL the Tharja trophy got removed, even in the Japanese version. Nuuuuuuu...

I can dig that.

I'll admit I was like everyone else at first in that I was uppity over there being clones, but I can appreciate the small differences between them and look at it as nice little extras. And with the way they presented them on the side together, that actually alleviated me since they were at least acknowledging that these guys were clone characters.

I liked what little bit I've played as Lucina, so who knows. Maybe I'll use her over Marth or whatever.

Also, I've just come to realize that while this game is fantastic, it's missing stuff.

No intro.

And no Pokémon Stadium 3 ;__;

Besides, I just have to wait for Agro. He'll fight you.

Yeah few things.

1.

The online on the 3DS version is...

2. Even when it gets on the Wii U version, I'm likely not to play online much if ever. The timing will be completely different from a local match.

The wi-fi people are complaining about is player to player. It's your Internet that's "ech ech ech." I've played matches online that felt purely natural.
