DL
I could do it. I'm a neutral third party (which is obviously the only thing that truly matters) who wouldn't be in it. Shame Caeda isn't around here now though, she would kill to be in it. What do you mean she isn't around here now ? o.o I think we'd be setting it up for next week or so right? Toffee.
Unlocked Game & Watch earlier tonight. Now I just need ROB, and I will have both of my mains from the last game. Also I didn't know Master Core was on 6.0 and onward, I figured it was like 7 or 8.Either way, the swords are a b**** to deal with.Fighting a slightly larger Duck Hunt Dog that gradually shrinks; Not so much.(Yes I used Dog to get G&W; Dog utterly wrecked him)G&W's changes, despite being slight, are rather noticeable; They didn't really effect my ability to play as him, so that's always good. Toffee.
Also I DON'T know why EVERYONE struggles with the swords, I find them to be the easiest XPPretty sure it's because unless you actually dodge them the whole way, they wind up doing a hell of a lot of damage to you. DL
I just ledge grab and jump around. S'fun. The humanoid one is hardest for me though, because his moves are ANNOYING. X-X
Tourmaline
I could do it. I'm a neutral third party (which is obviously the only thing that truly matters) who wouldn't be in it. Shame Caeda isn't around here now though, she would kill to be in it. She could easily still be in it. She has like three mediators for whatever she wants to say and people who know her friend code. She would not need to touch the forum at all to be able to participate, keeping in mind not to host the matches too late at night.
Headmaster Monokuma
In that case, I could co-host, since I probably wouldn't last long in it yet am one of the people who wants this to happen. You seem to be a better host than me, anyways. It's really not hard to host a thing, it's just a matter of people getting the matches done. What really matters is the format the tournament is done in. For Glory rules seem to make the most sense (Two stock, no items, Omega Stages) but things could easily be tweaked to allow non-Omega stages that aren't awful and making it 3 stock, stuff like that. What do you mean she isn't around here now ? o.o I think we'd be setting it up for next week or so right? Her absence from YCM. A week or two would make sense, I would certainly split the tournament thread from this one, so this could stay discussion about the game while the tournament thread is strictly tournaments and could be used for future games. im down for a tourney first things first I need friend codes. Tournament thread would probably end up having a collection of Friend Codes from anyone who joined. She could easily still be in it. She has like three mediators for whatever she wants to say and people who know her friend code. She would not need to touch the forum at all to be able to participate, keeping in mind not to host the matches too late at night. She doesn't like associating too much with the site, she's afraid she might get dragged back in. Plus I'm sure you know how she is when she feels like she's being a bother to people. Toffee.
The humanoid-Actually it just becomes a bigger version of yourself. So things aren't as unpredictable due to the fact it has your same moveset.
Thar
I faced Master Core for the first time. Was not expecting it, but it was pretty epic. Unlocked Dark Pit afterwards, even though I was trying to unlock Bowser Jr. Meh.

Tentacruel
Okay, so B Jr.'s A+Forward is way stronger if he's bailed out of his ship. Very interesting mechanic.
Agro
So I've basically found myself only capable of playing Dark Pit consistently well. 4 jumps and a recovery move that can basically get him back to the edge from virtually anywhere on any level is absurd. He doesn't die unless he gets forced out of the map. And because of that, I've been having a really easy time ledge-guarding with him. If you get caught with a FAir off-stage by Pit or Dark Pit, you're basically f***ed. And he has enough jumps to do it again if you come back for more. Consistently the biggest mistake I see with him on the recovery move is that a lot of people underestimate how far it goes, and end up going right past the ledge and getting punished hard.Short-hop FAirs and NAirs are really fun and his side-B is the most rewarding move he has. Super Armored, projectile deflecting, giant fisted electro dash? I've been using it more to fight off ledge-guarding than anything else and it's worked really well, tbh. I see it getting spammed a lot online tho Also the DAir is my favorite move to land, and the most-used combo is probably down throw into a short hop NAir or FAir. Been having issues with Wario. Can generally play against anyone else due to the fact he can play super aggressively or conservatively.Game Mode: Everybody play as Lil Mac. Play boxing ring. If you land outside the ring, you kill yourself. 5 stock. Last man standing wins. Ding Ding.

Shradow
Stuff like that is why I like playing as characters who have no problem smashing anyone off the map.
DL
Oh no, Shradow, I didn't mean the clone XD I meant the tabuu-like guy =P The close is easy.....unless you're at high damage with one life left and they nail you with a surprise smash. BTW I feel that regular competitive Smash rules might be nice best 2 out of 3 matches in 3 or 4 stock matches on omega stages, plus a few others like battlefield. Oh and Villager doesn't fear ledges either =P I wuv him~

Flame Dragon
Finally cleared classic with everyone. Next will be 100 man. As for a couple of other topics that have come about here. 1) Tiers: They are meaningless. I'm pretty sure back when Brawl came out people were saying that the game was pretty well balanced and the difference between characters wasn't too big. Yea......... 2) Tournament: I'll be happy to host. Obviously would also be playing. As for rules, no items, omega modes, 3 stock, best 2/3. Shradow
TR4Q, after all (I go wreck face at tourneys with Ike and Ganondorf, so I don't care), but they're nice for a sort of quick organization.

Saying that Kirby and Meta Knight are equal is so absurd in the context of winning a competitive fight that absolutely denying the significance of tiers is very difficult. And by the way, instead of just Omega mode, you should allow stages like Battlefield, keeping in mind it doesn't prefer projectile-spammers as much as Final Destination variants. Fusion X. Denver
Oh yeah, is there anyone here besides me and Shradow getting the Wii U copy of the game? It'll take a bit, but I'll want to bash some heads eventually.

Flame Dragon
TR4Q, after all (I go wreck face at tourneys with Ike and Ganondorf, so I don't care), but they're nice for a sort of quick organization. Tiers are mostly for higher competitive play. In more casual groups character tier can more than be made up by player skill. They're only meaningless now. Obviously. Which is why I was talking about Brawl when it first came out. Figuring them out now is just dumb. Problem is figuring out which stages can stay. Off the top of my head I'd say Battlefield, Yoshi Island, and Prism Tower can stay. Oh yeah, is there anyone here besides me and Shradow getting the Wii U copy of the game? It'll take a bit, but I'll want to bash some heads eventually. I'm going to get one, though not sure when if it comes out the same day as OR/AS. In other news, just got the 3280 feet challenge. Was a bit of a pain. Best character is Ganon imo.
