Also, "SETTLE IT IN SMASH" better become a thing.

If it does I'm so going to carry around the silly towel I got from the Nintendo World launch.

Anyway, only character left to unlock is R.O.B. Will work on that in the morning.

I still kick ass with Charizard which makes me happy.
Shulk is REALLY fun and I want to get better with him.
As said before, I'm a lot less good with Greninja then I was hoping. That said, I am learning him. One of my problems is that when I try to ^B to the side I get <B> and end up killing myself. I'm working on that.
Little Mac is going to take some getting use too. Kill myself twice with the <B>. Also, not being able to go after characters in the air sucks.
Bowser Jr. is really fun.

Any specific reason why you're NOT getting the 3ds version? XD Also the wii u version will be released during the holidays.

At least, that's what the official site says.

Oh and I know the feeling FD, I'm a LOT less good with megaman than I wanted to be.

But eh

At least there;s Villager. o3o

I know it's coming sometime in the holidays, I was hoping we might have something specific, even if it's a leak.

A few. The stages being one, but after playing the demo I just don't like the feel of it on a handheld, especially the small screen. Also I'm one of those people who would break their 3DS playing it. And of course I'd be lying if I said the graphics didn't factor in a good amount.

Rewatched the SETTLE IT IN SMASH commercials again. I f***ing lose it at the dude on the bus screaming and transforming into Donkey Kong, every time. It's too good.

Are there any potential leaks on what the WiiU version's release date might be?

Lot of stores have been leaking November 21. Same day as ORAS. So good luck with your free time.

Though it isn't a big shocker. Last year, Super Mario 3D World and XY came out on the same day. And it's a week before Black Friday, the day that Smash basically NEEDS to be out, tbh.

edit: fack double post im leaving

It wasn't XY, but Link Between Worlds. And yea, I can only imagine the crazy midnight releases if both games come out the 21st.

Well, even with the ability to customize the controls, they're still very hard to get used to. I'm too used to playing with the Gamecube controller.

So how about a YCM tournament?

Tap jumps are just frustrating. I disabled it so that up-smashing wouldn't be a problem.

Both of these things. I always have tap jump off and I'm slowly getting better with the not GC control set up.

Apparently I forgot that when you put the AI on Lvl9, they become the most bland one-trick-pony ever, in the sense that they ONLY use throws.

That aside, I've been playing as Little Mac, mostly for experimentation; Mac is an interesting character, but gets murdered if he ever leaves the ground.

So.... I've come the conclusion the best way to play Mac is to do it with a sort of hit-n-run style.
Which is funny, because given the nature of Punch-Out, both fighters basically "take turns" doing stuff.
And if this is correct, then Mac mirroring his matching games, to that extent, is an interesting bit of trivia.
