Fusion X. Denver
I was looking at the roster today. I've noticed that they nearly doubled the amount of swordfighters this time around. Went from 6 in Brawl to 10 (so far) in Smash U. And from 5 women to 9, plus additional 3 for Robin, Villager and Mii Fighter. They're really starting to up diversity in the roster now. All they need (for Smash 5 at this point) would be some more villains.
Flame Dragon
The only flaw was the fact that they held out the Shulk trailer so late. I mean, it would have generated more hype if done in the beginning of the month, but why hold it out so late? On that note, I noticed Robin fighting in Gaur Plains at the 1:43 mark of the trailer. No, it makes sense. If this is the started line up they would want to space out the reveals, and saving someone like Shulk till near the end will help generate hype for when the game comes out in Japan. Too bad Reyn isn't in there in some form. I guess the game couldn't handle Reyn time. He might end up as an AT.

The wait was painful. It was very painful. I was teased too much about Shulk and I got hurt by the lies. If it was revealed 2 weeks prior, then I would have more of the summer to fangasm. Buuuut, no. Instead, it was near the end of Summer next to my time to return to school, so I cannot spasm too much about it and I need to regain my thoughts on going back to school. That's going to be hard to do, since I'm still excited about Shulk. It's a painful proposition.
Dad
Pretty much lost all interest in the game once I saw Palutena and Shulk. They looked good at first, but my mind is calling them re-hashes.

They looked good at first, but my mind is calling them re-hashes. ._. that's your reasoning? this is why we need negs 2 characters out of a 40+ character roster that in NO way look like rehashes? You lose interest from THAT? Can't tell if trolling.
vla1ne
Rehashes of what? They both play pretty originally to me, so what/who exactly are they copying?
Dad
I might play for Robin. Shulk seems like old Roy, and Palutena seems like Zelda.
Agro
Each of Shulk's Monado Arts change his stats. Yeah, definitely old Roy. :\
vla1ne
I might play for Robin. Shulk seems like old Roy, and Palutena seems like Zelda. Roy had a flame motif abased on marth, while shulk's entire moveset revolves around moves that amplify and decrease stats. not to mention most of hs moves don't look like anything the other swordfighters are using. palutenas only similarity with zelda is that she uses magic and physical instead of just one or the other, and as far as that goes, her, zelda, and robin still have completely different playstyles. that's like saying capatin falcon and lil mac are copies because they both fight with their fists
Agro
that's like saying capatin falcon and lil mac are copies because they both fight with their fists Pfft. Captain Falcon only fights with his fists on Sacred Combos. Otherwise, it's in the knees, feet, and elbows baby.

Shulk's very playstyle is unlike any character in the smash series. That is the exact opposite of a clone.

Lonk
Pic of the day: You can play All-Star mode with your current roster, but it will be incomplete until you get all the characters. It looks like either Pac-Man or Mr. Game & Watch will be the first to fight and Shulk will be the last to fight.
