LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
Well, looks like it's time to start shipping Wii Fit Trainer and Samus, yup, that's gonna happen. But in all seriousness, I do find it hilarious since, as others have pointed out, this is basically Samus' work-out clothes and Wii Fit Trainer is also a thing. Shradow
Brawl had plenty of it, too. I mean, Captain Falcon and Snake wore clothes just as tight as ZSS.Also, Conan almost called it.
Βyakuya
The only alt costume ZZS could have gotten. Edit: Ninjas are everywhere. And, to be fair, this isn't a random outfit, its from Zero Mission. 2 things can come out of this: Raging Feminists and Raging Boners.

Airride
The orange suit is from Zero Mission; The blue is from fusion, however. Just pointing that out.
Shradow
I still don't know about that argument But dat ass, doe. Were they tight enough that you can see noticeable bulges on their crotches? Not entirely sure, kinda? Their outfits are certainly tight enough to perfectly mold to their muscles. Agro
I mean biggest argument against Zero Suit's design is still that she wouldn't wear a push-up bra under battle-oriented clothing. Or wear a combat-oriented suit that folds under her breasts to accentuate them, even if its skin-tight (like it's not even skin tight at that point). Or wear high-heels. Or undress for a stranger at the end of a mission depending on how well they played a video game... Unless Samus's way of dealing with PTSD is sleeping with people, but I don't think Nintendo would let that slide as canon... Anyway, the important thing here is that Captain Falcon has a square butt and that's weird. Their outfits are certainly tight enough to perfectly mold to their muscles. I would have probably mentioned the nipple buttons first.
Shradow
Eh, Wii graphics, what're you gonna do? Anyways, my point being that Samus isn't the only character one can glean fanservice from, so people really shouldn't get in a big kerfuffle over this. I said as much when ZSS was first revealed for this game in the first place.
Tentacruel
There is a bit of a danger to fall into with this. The female body should not be sexualized. The female character is being sexualized because her body is being shown. Only thing really fanservicey is the bunny ears.

Tentacruel
which is why I pointed to how her breasts are presented and the fact that she's wearing high heels on combat boots as what should be criticized :< Worthy talking point, but I'd still argue that the heels still seem practical considering the rocket function and the fact that they're really not all that attractive or anything. I didn't notice until people started bringing it up. To me they seem kind of like the boots from Portal. Boob physics is a bit subjective though. It's making her attractive to levels that are typically unlikely sure, but it's not like she was explicitly stated to be wearing anything specifically. Agro
The rocket function is used more as an excuse more than its an explanation though. It's sci-fi tech, they could have made the boots look like anything they wanted but they went with high heels, which any women can tell you aren't practical athletically. (also being attractive is never really the argument when someone criticizes high heels being put on a female character) It's not even the boob physics. It's breast anatomy. Neither of which should ever be subjective... It probably would have been more cost effective to make them look like how breasts would actually look under a sports bra, tbh. In that sense, the design of the skimpier outfit is actually more realistic.
Shradow
*sigh* We're getting back into the territory of you (if it was you last time, might be remembering wrong) wanting this to be a problem for everyone when it's not. Just use her other outfit, then.
Agro
It was me last time. And it's still a valid criticism. Though I think too many people see criticism as "HOW DARE THEY, CEASE IMMEDIATELY OR ELSE" instead of a thoughtful critique of something. Whether or not you agree with it doesn't mean the issue being discussed in the critique is problematic or not problematic. It means you have a differing opinion. It's not that I want people to see an issue that they don't, it's that I don't want people to be so dismissive of any critique if they don't agree, or don't want to agree. Tenta's doing pretty well of discussing it, instead of "*sigh* shut up and take it agro" that I got last time.
Shradow
As I see it, since there's nothing we can do about it (not that I think there needs to be anyways), we should just take it and not make a fuss when there doesn't need to be one. There's currently nothing I can add that Tenta hasn't already said, I agree with him.
Agro
That's fine if you disagree, but saying criticism has no place is a downright horrifying to me. Like would rather not live in that world, tbh
Shradow
Well you can criticize, to me it just seems like you're making it out to be that those who don't think this is a problem are wrong, and thus the fuss and debates. I try to be nonconfrontational when I can help it (which I've found has sometimes made me out to be passive aggressive, which I guess means I just need to work on my delivery). My initial statements in this whole thing were pretty much, "Oh, there's some female fanservice in the form of ZSS? There's male fanservice, too, gender equality, woohoo." I'm not saying there's no sexualization here, but that what of it there is isn't worth the fuss. There's a time and place for everything, and I think it should be to beat each other up with video game characters, not discuss boobs.
LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
I still don't see what's so attractive about ZSS, I mean, I kinda get it but...meh. Just wanting to throw that out there. That being said I think she looks more cool than anything so....take that as you will.
Shradow
She does look cool, I like the design of her suit this time, in Brawl it was all just one color. Though when I first saw her, my wish for Bayonetta died by like, 50%. The other 50% would've died if they had attached laser guns to the heels. In terms of looks, I think my favorite character is Ike. I've always loved FE armor design, and Ike's RD Hero appearance in HD is just glorious. I could levy that same argument towards you, though. All I've been doing is making a case for something and responding to possible fallacies in the argument. If that's "making it out to be that those who don't think this is a problem are wrong", then can't the same thing be said about how you're addressing my argument with "stop causing a fuss, agro"? I like her design in SB4 aesthetically. Even the rocket heels, however much I feel they deserve the criticism they've gotten. Though I don't want Bayonetta in smash. Like at all ._. Shradow
Well, yeah, but that would just cause a fuss. I say we just drop it, not only do internet arguments over subjectivity never work because neither side's opinion is likely to change, but this is the second time we've all been over this, and it never went anywhere that time, either. EDIT: Convenient topic changer, ho! "Pic of the day. The treasure chests that appear in Smash Run are very important. Not only do they give you stat boosts, but they also give you custom parts (the bag on the right) and Smash Run powers (the bag on the left). You should pick these up and use them in the next battle!!" You know, I was originally more hyped for Smash Run and it actually made me want to get the 3DS version, but now I'm sort of indifferent about it. Flame Dragon
See, whenever I look at the rocket boots, I just see boots. Most the boots I know have lift for the whole foot and the split between the front of the foot and the heel. I'll admit the back as lift, but it never struck me as being an excessive amount. I get where people are coming from, but I've never really saw it. Anyway, since we are talking about legs (that is the whole point of heels, to extenuate the legs or something) check out these legs Update today talks about the chests in Smash Run and about how they are sometimes traps.
