The fact that this is being released on the XBone alongside the PS4 and not on the Wii U shows that either Nintendo doesn't really want the game, or Squeenix doesn't like Nintendo.  Sure, Microsoft says that they are going to "fix" the problems, but this still confuses me.

No, the fact is that Kingdom Hearts III is being developed with DirectX 11, which is supported by the Xbone and PS4, but not the Wii U.

I heard that the Wii U has an engine that is the equivalent to DirectX 11.  Not sure if that would involve re-working the game to fit that engine or not, but I'm sure that similar engines can be substituted for other engines.

Well what Disney bosses would you like to see in III, you know if you like that?

Davy Jones looks like he'd be the best one. The movies revolve around him cutting out his heart, so he can easily be a Disney boss that you can tie with the main story. Horned King is the next in line, he has a vast amount of resources and is pretty powerful himself, so I could see him being a dangerous threat. Those 2 I personally want in.

Sa'luk can finish the Aladdin world, though he's not that good of a villain. Yzma could work if they can make her threatening enough. Ratigan gets a mention, if they shrink Sora and company he's a threat with prep. Honesty the rest gets hard, since most of the good ones have been used already, and Pixar is being touchy about their characters in KH. Hades and Malificent(hopefully the threatening one from the first) are bound to be in. The Queen from Snow White can come back if she's not dead. Zira could work, but Sora was there when just before Kiara was born. Hades could bring back Jafar, but he should stay dead. There's White Witch, but I don't know if Narnia would work in KH.

My Analysis: Sa'luk is good if they could make him a moving gold statue, Yzma would be an Incan dragon, Ratigan... not sure if Vincent Price is alive, Davy Jones, definitely and Horned King, also definitely. And I doubt they would put in White Witch. What about Morgana, Ursula's sister? or Gaston, that's a possibility in itself. Maybe add Zira too. My analysis.

But the PS4 does not support DirectX 11, or any Direct X.

The Xbox is named after DirectX, it's the DirectX Box.  Microsoft owns it.

No, it's about as powerful as DirectX 11, but the system only supports up to DirectX 10. But yeah, I think Square Enix could find a way to re-work the game, but it's just easier to port to the PS4 and Xbone.

You're trying to say that Duck Tales should be in the series, right? You really should give more context to these kinds of things. Ooh, what if they made a level based on Treasure of the Lost Lamp?

Yeah, I think we could get Davy Jones, but keep in mind that they would have to cut out a lot in order to adapt the story. Maybe they could do what KH2 did and have you revisit levels, in which case the first visit would be based on Dead Man's Chest, and the second would be based on At World's End, but there would have to be huge changes in order to fit with that. Granted, we didn't see Norrington or other people from the Navy, so imagine what they could do if they completely ignore the East India Trading Company.

Say what you will about The Black Cauldron, but I really want to see that movie in the series. Emperor's New Groove would be way too silly, even though having a llama as a partner would be hilarious. Ventus was turned small in Cinderella's world, so maybe something similar could be done with Sora, Donald, and Goofy if the game does The Great Mouse Detective. Maleficent is guaranteed to make a return, but I don't know about Hades. Then again, Olympus Coliseum has been in every game except Dream Drop Distance. I doubt we'll see the Queen, and I believe the dwarves mentioned she died. Like you said, we can't have Simba's Pride. KH2 pretty much did Return of Jafar, so I'd like to see KH3 have King of the Thieves. Narnia wouldn't work at all, especially since I think there are some legal problems.

Sa'luk DIES when he becomes a statue, I can't see them making Yzma into a dragon, but then again, we got Pete as a lion, Scar became a Heartless, and the first game had Oogie's Manor as a boss, so you have a point. Vincent Price has been dead for nearly twenty years, but maybe they could get a decent impersonator. I don't think they could use Morgana, since that would mean they'd have to do The Little Mermaid 2, which takes place too far into the future, so it's basically the same as asking for Simba's Pride, which is why we can't have Zira either. Gaston could show up, but I think KH2 wrapped up the story quite nicely that there's really no reason for Gaston to show up.

The thing is, ever since Final Fantasy VII, Square Enix has been leaning more towards Sony than Nintendo. Why I don't blame them for putting FF15 on the Xbone, given how the Final Fantasy XIII trilogy has been on the Xbox 360, Nintendo has been the go-to place for the handheld games, with the exception of Birth by Sleep, so Nintendo has deserved it. Then again, the games were designed specifically for those systems, rather than what we have here, which is a game being developed for a different system that could be ported. I have no objections to the PS4 being the primary system for KH3, but yeah, Nintendo is in desperate need of third party support for the Wii U. The best I can hope for is 2.5 getting a Wii U version.

You can blame Yamauchi for that.  He pretty much alienated all the third parties, and also said that RPG's were "Stupid and boring," as well as being for, "Depressed gamers who sit alone in their dark basements and play slow games."

I don't think Squeenix appreciated that.

Wow, that was low. I also just found out that he intentionally made the Nintendo 64 difficult to design for. I figured the main problem was that Square Enix didn't like that the N64 used cartridges instead of discs. Storage probably is another factor, but considering how Sony has a strong hand in the Blu-ray market, I get why Sony just has that much more power. At this rate, we'll probably just get another Crystal Chronicles.

"We’ve been talking about Star Wars itself since it became Disney’s content recently," Nomura (creator) said. "When I [heard] the news I was like, 'Wow! Wow!' Yeah obviously it’s gonna be great if we could add it, but like I said there are a lot of restrictions and rules by Disney so we don’t know what’s gonna happen but yeah, we’ll see."

So if there is no Star Wars in this then it is Disney's fault.

Er, not really invested in Kingdom Hearts entirely, but if I do play it... I would kinda prefer Star Wars not be in it. It just feels a little too out of place, and it would probably end up being that Clone Wars animated series which I heard was really meh. x-x

Am I really the only one here who doesn't want Marvel or Star Wars in the game? Those two things comes with so much to do that one world just wouldn't cut it. I mean, maybe you could use Star Wars, but what would you do with Marvel? Who would be your the main ally?

All of them?

Sora and co. could come in right when Galactus is invading Earth or when Doctor Doom's trying a global takeover and he ends up fighting alongside one hero at a time here and there throughout the time you're there.

And I am almost positive that they'll make Star Wars into a world. Depending on its release, I'm sure the game'll also help advertise Episode 7.

It's partially made by Disney. There is no way this could not happen. It's almost factual to say that Marvel AND Star Wars will have one or multiple worlds each.
