[Kai] Assignment #1 [COMPLETE]

I do like the third the best. The colour scheme is subdued, but has very good colour balance. I'd recommend some sort of g-map to subdue the blacks of the C4D some more. It stands out unnecessarily for me. Text seems artificial; I'd remove it. Atmosphere's lovely.

Second is a good experiment with depth. It's ambitious, while simple, but I think has been executed perhaps slightly underwhelmingly. A lot of sharp edges. Watch out for those.

First one does feel crowded, as Yondy said, but it's a decent piece of art with some control over the piece. The tonal range is rather limited and dark though. More focus needs to be made on the focal.

Overall, a good set for the first assignment, I say. Three fairly distinct styles. I'd like to see you work on the second more, because it can be advanced in quite a lot of ways to get a unique style. Third one is also a nice style. The background interests me, because it reminds me of mixed media. Perhaps you could experiment with textures, and prints?

Personally number 3 is my fav. It could do without the text though. 1 seems to crowded and 2 seems too empty and a little oversharpened.

Keep them coming! Can't wait to see more from you.

Thanks Yon and .Rai for your helpful advices. About the 1st tag, I actually had no idea what I was doing. Just basically render + C4D + a little effect + about 3-4 layers of g-maps -> there you have it.

The 2nd one, I ran out of idea at that moment so....i'll work more with the 2nd one to reduce the emptiness of the piece.

The 3rd one turns out to be a nice piece after all.

So overall, i'll pratice more, especially with the 2nd one :D So thank you so much.....:D
