L0SS
Look, look, I can do artsy titles too. I made a few tags over the course of yesterday, but this is the only one that I actually (kind of) like. I suppose it's all part of the learning process. I tried some kind of weird cut-off Gradient lighting, but maybe it's a little messy. The render itself could probably stand out more too. As always, feedback is appreciated. If it feels like I'm repeating the same mistakes, I'll give myself some learning time before I make another.
Catman25
I like the thought of the linear gradient lighting, but it could be executed better. It's a bit tricky since it creates such a harsh lighting transition. It looks like you displaced a bit around the render, which might be unnecessary. Also there are so many colors in this tag, they can't all coalesce, i.e. the green from the lighting clashes with the primary colors of the render. I went with a slightly comic book style with the bold colours, but on reflection, primary colours may suit that better. I don't think I'm going to change it, but I'll remember to keep things simpler in future. The idea was that the hero is illuminating the darkness, if you see my meaning. Thanks for the advice.
