Night
Second time using that planet stock, easily one of my favorites. If it appeals to you, I'd definitely suggest using this stock as it's quite versatile and fun to use. It's also a great entry-level stock because of this. Oh and my main objective with this one was to get that exaggerated glowing lighting by actually painting the highlights, if you want to see how I did that: http://www.mediafire.com/download/m6kxpgxlqpois5w/%5BNw%5DEnvoy.xcf I'd add the .psd but PS doesn't support addition, if requested though I'll see what I can do. Set the highlight layers to normal instead of addition in order to see the actual strokes. cnc.

chairman ali
Blue: The overglows/strokes are poorly situated as well as being over blurred. Make sure you also straighten them because they look a bit jagged curved atm. Pink: This part is a bit desaturated compared to the rest. The tag is actually desaturated as a whole, quite unsure why but it is giving a dead feeling to the atmosphere. Red: This represents the lightning displacement. The parts labeled red needs more silhouettes in them and more faded edges.
Night
I've no idea how the piece got so desaturated towards the end actually, any tips on how to saturate areas?
chairman ali
Make a new layer and set it on saturation. Pick a saturated yellow and brush over it. That should settle your saturation problem. If you want to saturate the whole thing then there is a vibrancy adjustment layer that would be more handy than the "hue/saturation" adjustment layer. I studied both layers and I can say the hue/saturation layer could really bring out some unneeded pixels resulting into areas being an eyesore.
