Nathanael D. Striker
1. All Leaderboard and Tournament Rules Apply 2. First to 3 votes or most by June 8th wins. 3. Votes must have a valid reason. 4. Winner gets 1 Rep from loser. 5. I have the right to add rules.

Alright, we know Konami has made horrible design choices. The evidence is in the banlist. Your task is to choose 1 forbidden card and recreate it so that it would be unlimited. Have fun.

Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) by banishing 2 cards from your hand or graveyard, including 1 LIGHT and 1 DARK monster, except "Chaos Breaker Dragon" and cannot be special summoned by other ways. You cannot Special Summon other monsters the turn you Special Summon this card. During your Main Phase: you can target 1 card in your hand and 1 card your opponent controls: destroy those cards and inflict 1000 damage to both players. This effect of "Chaos Breaker Dragon" can only be activated once per turn.
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by removing from play 1 LIGHT and 1 DARK monster in your Graveyard. You can pay 1000 Life Points to send all cards in both players' hands and on the field to the Graveyard. Inflict 300 damage to your opponent for each card that is sent to the Graveyard by this effect.

Makyura the Mesmerizing Maneater [EARTH/Level 4/Insect/Effect] This card is unaffected by the effects of "Hole" and "Trap Hole" Normal Trap Cards, except "Dark Trap Hole". During either player's turn, you can banish this card from your Graveyard to activate 1 Normal Trap Card from your hand if the timing is correct, and if it was a "Hole" Normal Trap Card, except "Dark Trap Hole", you can add 1 "Mesmerizing Maneater" monster from your Deck to your hand, except "Makyura the Mesmerizing Maneater". ATK/ 1600 DEF/ 1200

I may have been too evil on the card requirements, but this is the last round. I had to make things interesting. :
宇佐見 蓮子@C94
Hurray for unnecessarily difficult challenge. There's no point in hiding my anonymity because my name is written right on the card. Strikey, couldn't you blur it out if you insist on using the Card A/B system? -.- Anyway, I decide to 1-up the challenge and retrained the most broken card ever instead of easier cards, like Glow Up Bulb or Magician of Faith, so maybe you can consider that in your vote? Please?

Zazubat
Interesting, making it a Maneater support. It's pretty hard to pick, since the second card gets any Trap Card, it is pretty handy, but at the same time pretty powerful. It is limited though, so that's fine I feel. The first card is still a powerful card. The "must first be" clause means you can reuse the card, and the burn is powerful on top of the destroy effect. Oh, and you cannot target cards in the hand, just saying. I like card B more though, even if the fact that it gets every card is quite powerful. Zextra
Both cards are solid and usable; Card A definitely tones down CED to a playable extent, since it's now clearly inferior to BLS, and a hefty cost to clear the field. As for Card B, however, though it limits the type of Trap used to only Normal Traps, it's actually more flexible than the original Makyura in the sense that traps can be used anytime, so long as it's in the Graveyard, rather than only able to use them the turn it's destroyed. So personally, though I don't feel that either card is overwhelming to the extent of being forbidden, I will be voting card A since I'm not positive that the new Makyura wouldn't quite be unlimited. Makyura was mostly banned for his ability to FTK as they could spam traps all they want for a turn and abuse all sorts of loops.

Ice Kirby
Chaos Emperor Dragon is one of my favorite cards but I hate how it is banned. Personally, the effect of it isn't how I like however. On the other hand, Makyura has been changed in an interesting way, but I'm not sure if it'd be unlimited. All in all it's a close match but I give Card B my vote, because of the interesting twist on it's original effect making it a Maneater support card. Nathanael D. Striker
Questionable 1-2 Card B considering the above voter is unsure if Card B would be unlimited...

I'm fully aware of that, and I know that you took away the ability to do so. However, the idea of turning a Trap into a hand-trap just doesn't appeal to me, though it honestly might just be me being biased against Makyura. ImNotKarma
I feel that card B is an a weaker version of Jinzo( Ability) but well balanced Card A seems a bit OP but like most new cards they are. I see more use in Card B. Vote is Card B
VictorSempra
Card A. It has a decent effect, which I enjoy causes mass destruction as I'm sure the original intent was, without going massively overboard. Card B is just...I dunno, it seems to have a lot of unnecessary text. And I don't like the idea of it being centered around "Hole" cards, even if that is a thing. ImNotKarma
Jinzo Lore: English Trap Cards, and their effects, cannot be activated. The effects of all face-up Trap Cards on the field are negated. Nathanael D. Striker
Doesn't matter Toyo, that's 2-3 Card B. AixDivadis wins the tournament! Toyo, it was a close one and I congratulate you for getting 2nd. Time to lock!

Jinzo stops, negates, and restricts traps, yet Card B allows them to be more flexible and activate more freely.
