Tormented
I had this concept of using a black background and using white as a source of light so meh.
Catman25
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but lighter shades tend to draw our eyes to the focal. By that I mean your focal appears to be around the edges, especially the bottom right, instead of one of the areas depicted by the rule of thirds. Though to be fair this is a difficult render to work with due to the width spanning across almost the entire tag. Wireframes are used a bit randomly, which kinda detracts from the whole thing. You can have a black bg and white light source, just have them play off each other and the focal.
Tormented
In all honesty as you stated it was a poor render I should have gone for something a bit more vertical. Anyway I'll take into account next time.
