Rucken, you're a tad late to join I think.  Also, and this is just my take on things, I think that you didn't quite get what the familiar is.  They're not supposed to have been summoned until the summoning test.

Anyways, I'll probably make a post with Will and Trixie heading up the Elevator within the next few hours.  Think somebody could "conveniently" break the elevator so that it stops at the 5th floor?

Lol so is it a five way showdown? or are we dog pilling on the the kishin?

Believe it or not, the guy brandishing the big guns just wants to diffuse the situation >_>

Edit: He may also want justice for the damage done to his room...

Considering how Stark just arrived, he has no knowledge of what each person it trying to do.

And besides, he's a headstrong person. He doesn't really think things through, so it's natural he'll fight.

Rucken, it will take a long time for me to explain things, so perhaps you could read the rules and plot a lil', then look at the other apps for reference. Then refine your app and I will look at it once more.

Well, this is going to be glory. 10063's slut-like behaviour and Xishun's absurd violence and sense of inglorious justice sure escalated.

Just in case, here's a picture of Silver Crow. His wings sprout when he needs them. Describing him as a 'bird' may have caused some of you to think he has a beak.

Please do note that the fear that Asura radiates isn't just something someone ignores. It in itself is a weapon of sorts, as it can drive people to their knees and to the ground, trembling helplessly. The magical students would have slight resistance, but it's not to be ignored just as if it didn't even exist, as showed by your posts. S: It would still pervade the air and start creating panic and dissension. It radiates almost the entirety of Frey's, Xishun's, and Gerald's (I think, not sure of which person) room. Anyone even close to the area would start feeling strange, and if you step inside, you'd immediately start becoming a bit paranoid. Within the actual area of the fight itself, it would be almost overwhelmingly strong, to the point if you let your guard down, the oppressive feeling could crush you and paralyze you.

It might be just me thinking that, but the way you finished it off just made it a bit too overpowered too early in the game.

Of course, I'm carrying Umbra. Can't really be a hypocrite in this situation, now can I?

So really, because Umbra isn't a human or anything like the rest of the characters per se, it really can't be affected by said power, and therefore does have a somewhat advantage against that. I'm not sure how Stark would be affected, concerning how Umbra is siding with him and could possibly give some resistance or immunity, because Umbra in the TES Games is said to take over the minds of those who wield the sword over time. Since no definite time has passed since he got the sword, Umbra could have already taken over Stark's mind (conjecture, but a possible idea), or at least shielded his mind from any external sources.

I won't say that the two are absolutely stronger than Asura, but it should be noted that Asura's radiating fear shouldn't be as dominant against Stark because of Umbra, compared to the other players.

I'm probably just babbling here.

Veirus's desire to piss anything off often overwhelms her ability to feel fear. She's also seen and slain much scarier things already...

Maybe if Asura tried attacking her, maybe she would feel it

So, I can't have the God Emperor of Mankind but Neph gets a Kishin that can drive us all to our knees in fear?  I'm not upset, it just seems like Asura is terribly unbalanced and is going to stay that way.  I mean our characters are going to grow in strength just as we do, so Asura getting stronger than he is just seems absurd.

Asura's pretty much going to stay at the same strength level as he is now. And it would be extremely oppressive, but with some willpower, you'd be able to at least move around enough to survive. To completely regular humans, being that close though would just drive them to the ground, and drive them insane. And you'd be able to fight, with work, but it would be strenuous and it would be demanding.

Well, something tells me that I have to go full power.
Well, I'm currently thinking how to make a standard MISAKA clone useful in combat. Let's see... Gun... visor... electricity, but no Railgun.
Welp.

Time for Xishun to ruin things.
Even more.

Oh boy, let's all ruin the whole dormitory, shall we?

But like I said, with Stark pretty much in a "contract" with Umbra, normally his mind would be taken over by Umbra (in due time). And because Umbra being a impossible to measure powerful being, I can sincerely doubt that it would be affected by Asura's fear, granted Umbra would recognize the power Asura has.

Disregarding Umbra's power, I will discuss Stark. He's seen quite some fear. The fear of being helpless and such, when he summoned Umbra. Though, as I type this, I will say that it wasn't really fear that he had, but hatred against himself, so I'll disregard that as being fear, and strike this out. He wields Umbra, and powers withstanding, Umbra should be able to shield him from Asura's radiating fear.

We seem to be at an impasse Neph. I would really like to discuss this further concerning our two near god-like familiars and their effects against Stark. Would you like to carry this over to the PM to lessen the clogging of the OoC thread?

Granted, I have no idea how Asura's radiating fear would affect the others, since they don't seem to have familiars with such a status of power, so I cannot defend their possible defenses against Asura's power. However, I do agree with the fact that Asura should be able to weigh down the other character's momentum with his power.
