Hmm...he can open any lock up to five times every 24 hours?

 

Uhm, just wondering, but how does that even work? Like, Open Sesame! Open Sesame! Open Sesame! Open Sesame! Open Sesame! And all of a sudden...oh noez I have to wait 24 hours now! Not meaning to nitpick, really, I just find it a little odd.

The gem at the head of the cane has three powers. It can create a blinding light, unlock locks, and create doors/gateways. Each power uses up a different kind of energy. So there are three types of energy stored within the gem, and each type takes a certain amount of time to refill. Think of it as...let's say "Salt" in Bioshock Infinite (They say Salt instead of Mana). I can only use the possession power twice before I run out of "Salt" and have to refill it. While my fireball power is something I can use four times before running out. Each power uses a different amount. Essentially, that's what my tricks do. The only difference is that each power has it's own separate mana bar instead of sharing the same one.

 

Does that help clarify anything?

Yeah, sorry if I've been a little late with it. Too many good RPs means I'm getting a bit over-crowded, and my real-life is hecka busy. Exam season and all that.

Personal Information
Name: Katarina Al-Satur
Age: 19
Gender: Female
 

[spoiler='Personality'] On her exterior Katarina exudes a very stupid and ditzy attitude. She acts like a weeaboo just to throw people off, and combined with the Valley Girl act she puts on sometimes, it makes her seem like a generic “American Idiot”. In reality is a conniving criminal genius always planning her next heist. Extremely intelligent, borderline genius in fact, with an IQ Score of 154. While she isn’t necessarily a pessimist she is very cynical of people in general. Taking advantage of her charming personality, she uses to manipulate others, and through suspicion away from herself, should she ever be investigated for a crime.

 

In class, and around her parents important guests, Katarina displays impeccable etiquette and politeness and behaves like a polite and perfect daughter. Though this side of her is almost robotic, and is devoid of any personality at all. If anything she acts like a stereo-typical high society woman, regarding those of lower class, or intellect, as her inferiors. Katarina acts very entitled, borderline brattish, acting as though everything will go her way, and she can get whatever she wants.  

 

Her true nature only shows through while with Kenneth and her brother. Around them she displays a compassion and easy going attitude that does not display around others. She trusts the two boys more than anyone, and would anything for them. She treats anybody she trusts like this, but as it is very hard to earn Katarina’s trust, the two boys are currently the only people she treats like this.

 

As Faraasha Katarina’s attitude changes yet again, becoming more friendly, and clueless. She seems to also a have a sarcastic and caustic attitude about herself. She becomes quite rowdy and wild, making herself very unpredictable. She also does everything with and for a purpose, never having any useless actions.[/spoiler]
 

[spoiler='Biography'] Katarina was born to a rich family from a Turkish father and Greek mother. When Katarina was 5 her father was made the Turkish Ambassador to Japan, though as she was very young Katarina hardly remembers it at all. Having not really experienced much of the Turkish culture it was easy for Katarina to adapt her to her new surroundings. For the first 10 years of her life Katarina was sheltered from the world, and homeschooled (to teach more “practical” subjects), never allowed to leave the house grounds. Taught by some of the best tutors, Katarina was held to high, nearly impossible, expectations by her parents.

 

She would have gone crazy had it not been for one person; Kenneth Yamada. While she had been out in the garden, the young boy had snuck up to her fence, and in the first minute they had hit off. For the next 5 years the boy would continue to sneak up to the girl’s fence whenever he was able, and the girl would sneak out to the garden whenever she was able. Katarina always loved it, the rush that if she got caught she would be in trouble. For Katarina it was a beautiful release from her rigidly structured life.

 

Another release she found in her life was her brother, Alexander, who was born shortly after the family moved to Nakama. Even before he was born Katarina’s parents had set the bar high for him, being traditionalists, they planned to pass all their fortune on to their son, which consequently led to Katarina being largely ignored during her mother’s third and final trimester, and also created a gap between her and her parents. Unfortunately her parents set their expectations too high for the unborn child, and when he was born with albinism they viewed him as flawed, and would have put him up for adoption had it not been for the intervention of Katarina. With Alexander she felt she had someone to confide in, someone how knew how she felt, because he lived it himself.

 

With their other child a failure Katarina’s parents again turned all their attention to Katarina. When Katarina was 12 her mother received news of a huge opportunity, for better or for worse this would cause her mother to be away from home for most of the year, and her father gone most of the year anyway, made Katarina the un-official head of house. Not wanting her to fall behind on her studies, despite the fact that she was well ahead of many children her age (and far older as well), Katarina was enrolled into Nakama Academy. As the head of house Kenneth was now allowed into the house, and Alexander a more accepted part of the family. [/spoiler]   
 

[spoiler='Appearance'] Katarina has the olive skin common to most people of the Mediterranean world, and inherits deep emerald green eyes from her mother, while she inherits her long, mid-back length, silk-like black hair from her father. Katarina’s hair is lined with streaks of silver, which seems to glisten in the sunlight. Her eyes are narrow, with long eyelashes, adorned with only a slight touch of deep purple eye shadow. Katarina’s nails are long and manicured, which combined with her sizable bust size and shapely figure makes her the object of many men’s desires.

 

Katarina’s clothing consists of a completely black tang-top over with three slashes up each side, over a t-shirt which fades from bright blue to bright pink. She wears a multi-layered frilly dress, with each layer a different shade of purple, and bright blue belt, which mostly hangs at an angle. Katarina also wears black open-tipped gloves, which stop just below her elbow, and to finish off her outfit a pair of deep blue sneakers.  [/spoiler]

Magician Thief Name: Faraasha ~ Multiplying Card Shark of Fate
 

[spoiler='Appearance'] While under her guise as Faraasha Katarina wears a deep blue mask, and braids her hair to hide her identity. Faraasha wears a black leotard under a transparent black shirt, which cuts of at the waist. She also wears padded silver boots combat boots to silence her footsteps, and black gloves to keep finger prints from showing up. [/spoiler]
 

[spoiler='Weapons'] Faraasha keeps two handguns strapped to her thighs, each holding an eight round clip. Though she doesn’t use them often she keeps four clips strapped to her boots.

 

Grappling Hook: Used to ascend tall buildings/swing wide gaps. Straps around her waist like a belt.

Hacking Laptop: Used to disable security systems, and other various hacking. Carried on a black shoulder bag.

Glass Cutter: A circular shaped object, which straps onto her grappling belt. Makes a circular incision in glass, and pops it off allowing Faraasha to extract objects in display cases. [/spoiler]  
 

[spoiler='Tricks'] Magical Deck of Tarot Cards~ The cards in the deck have the ability to multiply, as well as causing small cuts. They also grant Faraasha some other abilities, though each card has a time limit, and none of them can be activated together. Each also has a recharge time of 24 hours and none of the cards can be used at the same time as the other.

 

Wheel of Fortune: Increases odds of probability is Faraasha’s favor (e.g. similar to Number 7: Lucky Strait) for a period of 10 minutes.

Strength: Increases Faraasha’s strength for a limit of 30 minutes (e.g. she can lift a gold bar or safe with no problem, but she can’t lift a car).

The Moon: Allows Faraasha to become invisible for 1 minute.

The Sun: Will fully heal Faraasha from anything short of a fatal wound.

 

“Finisher”:  Multiplicative “Card Factory”: Two rings of cards surround Faraasha before flying at her opponent(s).

 

Fighting Style: Faraasha is a skilled hand to hand combatant, and agility combined with her intelligence to outwit and overpower opponents. [/spoiler]

Kenneth Yamada: Katarina’s best, and only, friend. He acts very goofy, and will often play with Alexander, viewing him as a little brother. A talented musical artist he plays a variety of classical and contemporary instruments. [/spoiler]
