So I joined a Pop-punk band....

So a while ago, I was just screwing around in guitar center on the e-kits they had on display and a guy from Taylor, TX comes up to me and asks me if I wanted to be in a band. I said yeah. Here's some music.

 

It's rough video recording, but the quality is okay. At the time we recorded these I was still new to the material, so some rhythms and transitions are changed, and now we actually have a full set of 12 songs completed (he already had a lot of material written when we started, he just needed a drummer.)

 

And I don't like Nathan's voice that much, but it's whatever... I'm playing drums btw.

Sounds a little generic, but it's completely passable as something you would hear on the radio.

You're a very good drummer. The sound quality isn't great, and the levels definitely need adjusting to account for how loud the drums are, but you're very good. The singer isn't amazing, but he's decent enough.

Is that a six-string bass? Or is the bassist off screen? Do you even have a bassist? O.o

Thanks, and we'll probably just isolate the drums with an overhead.

 

And we don't have a permanent bassist yet - just a temp bassist I kind of randomly found at my school haha.
