Avatar sizes (On Posts)

I know it;s not exactly the most dire thing, but it bugs me.

 

On the sidebar on posts with the member's basic information or whatever, the avatar sizes are about 100x100.

Now, there is a fairly substantial area for a larger size on them. Not exactly enough to make it 200x200 like on the member pages, but certainly enough to expand to, say, 150x150 or 175x175. (There's 40 pixels of free room on either side of the avatars [Yes, I checked])

I just feel slashing the avatar size in half from what it is on the member page isn't exactly...doing some avatars justice sometimes. It's something that's bugged me ever since we switched to this format, but I feel like talking about it now.

 

If this isn't possible with what we have, then, okay then, you can go and lock this or something.

 

Note that this only applies to YCM theme and Uniform, so...yeah.

[The icon size on posts is 90x90. Any bigger and it's downsized, smaller it's likely upsized.]

Mm, 90x90. Even worse. Though, That means 175 x 175 isn't quite possible without expanding the sides a bit.

I agree it looks fine as it is. At most, it could be expanded to 100 x 100.

100x100 is too bulky plus could be a massive difference in the file allocation.

 

90x90 is fine. if you really want an 150x150 avatar then just re-size it down to 90x90 for the best quality.

Guys, although i agree that it's fine at 90x90, 100x100 isn't bulky. It's mostly not even a noticable difference if you don't put them side-by-side.

I'm not suggesting that it is bulky. But on file size it could effect YCM's quota quite a bit.
