It says that he landed in front of the guy, cut off his top, knocked him down with the butt of your sword, then stuck him to the ground by having his blades pierce the guy's clothes (which if you cut off his top, could only leave his trousers, which wouldn't really hold someone considering that they're double edged swords), and all of this while the guy had a blade to a hostage woman's throat?
