One Piece, the greatest treasure known to mankind. It can make even your wildest dreams come true, and who ever holds One Piece, holds the position of Pirate King. The owner of such treasure was none other that Gol D. Rodger, the greatest pirate known to man. For years he was thought of as the conqueror of the world, having been the only person to have ever sailed the entirety of the Grand Line, and the New World far beyond the Red Line. That was, however, until one pirate crew transcended all boundaries: The Straw Hats and their captain Monkey D. Luffy. A lot of fearless pirates, who had gone against the odds and found One Piece on the island of Rafael. For years to come, Luffy would be known as the King of the Pirates, going further than Gol ever had. You may ask how? Luffy had soon proved that Gol D. Rodger had in fact not sailed the entirety of the world. Far beyond the Paradise Ocean and the New World, a new and even stranger world was discovered.

Monsters beyond your wildest dreams, pirates even more dangerous than than all of the Warlords put together. The waters in the new world were perilous, dangerous and only the brave and foolish would ever dare to sail there. This new world was named Devil's Domain. A fitting name for the death bed of many unworthy pirates and marines alike who failed to conquer this dangerous, new world. As of to this day, Luffy and the Straw Hats are the only known survivors of Devil's Domain.

It has been years since Monkey D. Luffy and the Sraw Hat Pirates found One Piece and was crowned the greatest pirates to roam the seas. He was unmatched, and his reign as Pirate King became legendary. One day, without reason or cause, Luffy and his crew vanished, but before this he left a single piece of wisdom: One Piece was still out there. Placed in a new location, somewhere in the far reaches of Devil's Domain. This inspired a new wave of pirate hopefuls as Pirates from all over rose up, determined to surpass the great Luffy. Whether they were brave, foolish or insane to try was unknown. Though, in all honesty, one would have to be insane to ever try to transverse Devil's Domain.

One such crew willing to take on this challenge is the Devil Bat Pirates, led by Dan Von Devile. With a cast of strange friends, they take on even stranger challenges in their quest to find One Piece in Devil's Domain. This crew has already had many adventures together, and through those adventures a bond of friendship and family was formed. But that is not enough. Despite their strength and unwavering willpower, the Devil Bats will require even more friends if they ever hope to conquer the world of One Piece.

Where you start:

Our heroes begin in the seas of South Blue, waiting in Sea Breeze Village. Waiting for what? Simple pirate applications of course. In need of more crew members the oh-so-amazing navigator of the Devil Bat Pirates, Jack R. Madson, came up with the bright idea to distribute "Pirate Crew Wanted" fliers everywhere. What a way to recruit. News of this eccentric way of gaining crew members traveled fast, and like wild fire it was all over the South Blue. Of course Jack neglected to put the most important thing on the flier; where to meet. Whether you heard of the news by ear or found a flyer yourself during your quest for One Piece, as a pirate, you understand that finding One Piece can't be accomplished alone. However, as everyone knows, when pirates are around, trouble isn't far behind.

General Statement
If you are applying for this RP then it is expected that you know the rules of YCM's RP section and it is unnecessary for me to remind you of the rules. Those who are unfamiliar of the rules or are new to RPing in general, I highly recommend you do not participate in this RP until you have developed, at the least, a general understanding of the Roleplay section's rules. This is an anime/manga-esque RP, so the story will be based on chapters, seasons, arcs, etc. Finally, you must understand that my word is final. If you have read the rules, please type “Pirate” when responding to the "Username" portion of the app. Finally, romances in this RP are allowed, howev

~The most important rule of all is to have fun!~

Terms of Acceptance
First off, you must know that applying for this RP means that you will have to be active, and I do take activity seriously. Do not, and I repeat, do not apply for this RP if you are not in it for the long run. If for some reason you can't be active during a part of the RP's progression, please inform me of your reason(s) via OOC or PM. If this happens, I am allowed to control your character as I see fit until you return. Those who do apply will have a maximum of one character (and cannot be an antagonist) unless I say so otherwise.

Lastly, while my word is final if you believe that either myself or Blu are unfair you may bring it up in the OOC. I do expect you to be respectful during these moments. We are all human and we all make mistakes.

1) In terms of rating, Devil Bat’s Diary, is rated PG-16. It contains a medium to high amount of blood and gore, a medium to high amount of cursing, and a low amount of sexual content.

2) In terms of character creation, feel free to be as creative as you want in terms of appearance, personality, bio, combat abilities, etc. When choosing abilities the only thing I will not allow is the use of Haki abilities, and while I don't mind if all in the crew has a Devil Fruit I encourage people to make characters without Devil Fruits. Zoro and Sanji were plenty strong even without them.

3) Blu's Posting Routine Rule: This RP follows a strict story structure and must be followed as so. Irrelevant posts will be warned. The posting style of this RP is turn-based, involving rounds. A round of posting consists of me posting then all other participants will post once, unless some circumstances prevent that from happening. After that round, a new round of posting will begin starting with me posting once more. After I have posted to begin a round, it doesn't matter who posts next as long as we reached the point where everybody posted once for that round. With that being said, those who've RPed with me before should note that I might fluctuate between long and short posts so I don't mind if you short post when needed. You can have extra posts just for the sake of character development or interaction with other characters to build up relationships. However, this must not conflict with the main story. For example, if the current story is about saving someone and a character suddenly asks another character to go get something to eat, that would be a violation of the routine rule.

4) If anyone has ideas for Islands we could visit, or arcs for the RP don't be afraid to speak up. Of course these will need to be approved by both Blu and myself, and we will work with you if the idea isn't fleshed out enough. While there will be a few places cannon to the Anime in this RP, most places will be new and original.

5) When it comes to accepting applications, I will only be accepting 3. There will be no reserves, this way everyone has an equal opportunity to get accepted. Also your application must be accepted by both Blu and myself.

"If you like my cooking....You can't be all bad..."

Personal Information

Username: Pirate
Name: Sana Kensoli
Epithet: Electric Maiden
Age: 18
Blood Type: O+
Date of Birth: July 21
Position on Crew: Cook, occasional Navigator
Sana is around 5'4, with a slim build that just doesn't seem to match up the the strength she has. Her outfit is the same as in the picture, with the only addition being skin tight, black shorts that stop at her mid thigh. Her skirt comes down past her shorts by an extra inch or so.

Sana is currently the only female in the crew, and the youngest so for the most part she takes up the role as the baby sister of the group. Since she was an only child at home, she sees her crew mates as her family and would do anything to help and protect them. At the moment she is also the newest member, having been the third to join the crew. Sana is extremely kind, and outgoing, willing to help those who may be in need of it. Though sometimes she can be a bit overbearing when trying to help someone, and end up doing much more harm that good. Sana is incapable of lying, and if she tries too it's done very poorly. The reason being is that, as any teenage girl, her emotions are right on her sleeve. It's quite easy to tell how Sana is feeling if one simply pays attention. There aren't many things that get her angry but when she is it isn't a pretty sight. While she doesn't stay mad for long, when she is mad it isn't a smart thing to be around her. One reason is because she loses control of her devil fruit powers, and has on more than one occasion shorted out the lights on the ship.

Speaking of losing control of her abilities, her most common ailment when it comes to her devil fruit is “Over heating”. Sana has a huge crush on Dan, also known as Captain, and whenever she gets really close to him her body temperature skyrockets which results in her overheating and needing to rest. Of course Dan is unaware of Sana’s affections; however both Jack and Yura seem to have caught on, with Jack usually teasing Sana about it and Yura breaking it up. During these moments one of Sana's favorite threats to Jack is that she'll electrocute him to death, though of course she doesn't mean it.While Sana isn't afraid of too many things, her most prominent fear is of bugs. Whenever she sees one she tends to scream and and run away. Either that or grab the nearest person and use them as a shield. If it's Yura she's most likely to jump on his back too get away from the bug. She doesn't like the way they look and feel when they crawl on her skin. Sana is the cook, and therefore the stomach of the crew. She found her passion in cooking, and she would admit that if it wasn't for Dan and the others it would be the most important thing in her life. The time when she feels the happiest is when people eat her cooking and really enjoy it.

Sana&Dan

While Dan feels very comfortable around Sana, it's quite the opposite on her side of the relationship. Because of her crush on Dan, and her inexperience in controlling her powers when riled up, she has a tendency to "overheat", as she calls it, causing her to faint. Though it's used as comedic relief most of the time she really hates when that happens. It's quite obvious to anyone who sees that she likes him. Well, to everyone except Dan of course. Other than that Sana truly respects, care and trusts in Dan's ability to lead his crew and make the right decisions. Her trust in him is such that even if she has no clue what's going on, she would follow his plan with the utmost confidence that it's the right thing. She believes that Dan is a great captain that will do what's best for both the crew and it's individual members. Overall, while they work well together, Sana's relationship with Dan is the most chaotic due to her own emotions.

Sana&Jack

Sana and Jack seem to have something of a sibling rivalry going on, and Sana see it a her life mission to annoy him in some way. Her most common ways are calling him lazy, old and unattractive or a combination of the three. In terms of family Jack would be that annoying older brother. He is one of two in the current crew that has found out about her crush on Dan, which Jack makes use of during their little spats, always threatening to tell Dan about it. Though that always ends with Sana threatening him with electrocution. Of course she gets her revenge during the shopping sprees Jack voluntarily takes her on. Sana is easily annoyed by Jack, mostly because of his laziness when it comes to navigating which usually calls for her to take over for him when he's napping. Even so she never tries to wake him up, which really begs the question if she's really angry or not. Sana belongs to the group of few females that are immune to Jack's looks, which Sana believes to be average at best. Then again she just couldn't see him as someone she could like in that way. When it comes down to it Sana's relationship with Jack is probably her most natural and where she can be herself. She trusts Jack to be there for her when she needs it, and would do anything to protect him...Well that's her intention but it's usually the other way around.

Sana&Yura

When it comes to Yura, Sana was a bit scared of him at first. Reason being was because he didn't always speak, always appeared out of no where, and he was the doctor of the crew. Though after Sana got to be around him more, she found out he was a very good confidant. He was easy to talk too, always listened and gave great advice. She always wondered how he and Jack are close friends considered the different personalities but didn't think on it too much. To Sana, Yura is like the knowledge guru as she would more often than not come to him for advice and to ask things she doesn't quite understand. Though, like Dan and Jack she isn't always up for getting check ups. It's not that she doesn't believe in his ability, as she knows he is quite capable as their doctor, she herself just don't like going to the doctor. If she really needs too Sana will attempt to suck it up as to not offend him, but she's sure he knows she is uncomfortable. Though she tries to tell him if he has strawberry flavored lollipops to give out after the check up it would be better. With Yura, Sana is most relaxed and comfortable finding the silence she once thought was creepy to be comforting. During their travels Sana has had to be carried by Yura many times due to injuries, but now it seems that Sana is quite happy being carried by the taller man. Though she's not sure that enjoyment of the activity comes full circle.
Sana was raised in a very posh society in the East Blue. She had everything she could possibly want: Money, clothes, toys, and anything else you could possibly think of. Her future was already set for her by her parents. Her parents enrolled her in all sorts of courses, from the special arts to scholastic prowess.  By the time Sana was 10 years old she had already had a fiance picked out for her. At first she thought nothing of it, and of course she wouldn't, she was only 10 at the time. However, as she grew older she came to despise her life. Sana hated her parents for it. They didn't let her do anything at all, and at times they would lock her in her room for days until she agreed to do everything like they had planned. Everything was too perfect, too planned out and her every move seemed dictated by her parents. Her only solace would be those few moments when she would sneak into the kitchen with the maids. Those were the moments when Sana was most happy, and she learned many things while helping out the cooks.

It was during one of these many days that her father returned home bragging about a rare fruit he purchased from a trader. He told his family that it was one of the only fruits of it's kind and that it is from the far reaches of the Grand Line. Of course the trader neglected to tell her father that the fruit was in fact the Goro Goro no mi, a Devil fruit that would grant the user the power over lightening. Without the knowledge of it's power, or the fact that it would taste horrible he ordered the cooks to use it the meal tonight. That night Sana again snuck into the kitchen with the intentions of helping, and of course she saw the fruit being prepared by one of the chefs. She was curious as to how it would taste. The cook noticed Sana looking at the fruit and gave her a small piece to taste. As expected the moment she tasted it she scrunched up her face in disgust at the bitter tasting fruit. The next moment all of the lights in the house sort circuited  and left them in complete darkness for 3 days as well as ruining that nights dinner. Fortunately for Sana her powers that she just obtained didn't show itself until years later. Unfortunately for Sana her days of escaping in the kitchen were over, as her mother found out about her escapades into the kitchen and helping out the cooks.Sana was found out one day and was forbidden to ever enter the kitchen otherwise she would fire all of the cooks. Of course Sana didn't want that so she obeyed her parent's wishes.

She couldn't take it anymore. So one day when she was 15 she ran away from her home. She didn't care what happened to her, she just had to get away. As soon as she left the grounds the alarms went off and the guards started chasing her. Before this incident Sana had already tried to run away. Of course that attempt was put to a halt, but afterwards her parents decided to put extra security around the place. That came in handy for her second attempt. Sana bolted off refusing to look back, and after a couple of close calls eventually lost them. Unfortunately, she was also lost. Sana had never been out of her place without escorts, and in her haste to lose her guards she took many back alley pathways.  It wasn't long before a group of thugs cornered her with plans of robbery, and probably more.

The next bit was a mystery to her, but the next thing she saw was a bright light, that two of the four guys were severely burnt. Almost as if they got hit by lightning. Sana was suddenly very tired and she couldn't stand anymore and fainted. When she awoke she was in a room she didn't recognized, and in the room with her was a guy that looked older than her. He said his name was Dan Von Devile. She knew then that he must have saved her from a horrible fate. She asked him what he was doing here and he told her he was a pirate. She instantly asked him if she could come, lying telling him she hadn't anywhere else to go. Sana knew he probably didn't believe it because of how expensive her clothes looked but she didn't care. She told him that she could be the cook for his crew if he didn't have one, or even a navigator since she was taught how by one of her many teachers. In the end he allowed her to join. Ever since that day she has had a crush on her captain but tries to keep it professional when she can. It was on his pirate ship that she had found out about her powers.

When she joined the crew she was very shy around the Jack and Yura. To be honest she was afraid of Yura believing him to be some type of specter since he didn't speak much. As for Jack...Well...She just thought he was an idiot. Not long later she found that her theory about Jack was true; he is an idiot. Of course it was because of Jack's free spirit that Sana was able to open up. She eventually got used to Yura and would sometimes run to him or Dan when Jack was being annoying. It was actually quite funny, though at times the shenanigans she and Jack would get into were more trouble than they were worth. In the begining Sana only agreed to become a pirate in order to escape the suffocating lifestyle her parents forced on her. However, the more time she spent in the crew with the other three the more she really wanted to help them in their goals to find One Piece. As for Sana she really got into cooking, and realized that her own dream was to become the best cook in the in the entire world and come up with her own special style of cooking that couldn't be surpassed by anything. In the end, Sana was glad that she met Dan and became a Pirate.
Combat Information
Goro Goro no mi - Shock Shock Fruit

Strengths: The Shock Shock fruit is considered a power house fruit best in close combat and mid-range. It substitutes precision for raw destructive power. In close range combat this fruit is a deadly adversary  and Sana uses this to her advantage. Utilizing the sporadic nature of her devil fruit by firing short burst of power in quick succession  as well as the added speed granted by her devil fruit. The fruit also increases Sana's natural body heat, not to the extent of a Flame Flame fruit or a Magma Magma fruit, but this prevents her from getting cold easily. She naturally absorbs electricity when hit with it.

Weakness: The Shock Shock fruit comes with its share of weaknesses, the main one being her tendency of over heating. The happens usually when she is very excited, embarrassed or prolonged use of her devil fruit. Another is that long ranged enemies are harder to hit. This is due to the inability to control where her lightening hits the further away from the source it gets. This is dangerous as it may hit her comrades or bystanders. When she absorbs lightening it can be a problem if she absorbs too much without letting it out, which can cause over heating. Sana is normally immune to electricity, however if she reaches her max capacity for absorbing electricity then it will become painful. Also Sana's inexperiance in using the fruit is also her greatest weakness. She only found out about her powers when she joined the crew so she is still learning a lot of new tricks when it comes to her powers.
Weapon appearance: N/A
Strength: While her extra strength is nothing extremely extraordinary, it can be surprising considering her tiny frame.

Conductor: Due to her lightening affinity she is a very good conductor of electricity. She's able to harness it to strengthen her own attack power, or harmlessly redirect it.

Agility: Sana is quick on her feet, and even quicker with her hands. One of the fastest on the crew, and it's mainly due to her lightening abilities increasing her speed.

Cold Immunity: Due to her natural body temperature being 30 degrees higher than the average person, she is immune to most colds. This also prevents her from getting cold as easily as the others.

Intelligence: Before becoming a pirate Sana was put through schooling and private tutoring for 18 years of her life. She is quick witted, and understands most things. She is usually the one to keep the rest of the crew up to date on towns, customs and current events.

Kenbunshoku Haki - Though she is unable to use it to any extent, she does develop this at a much later date.

Shock Shock Roaring Dragon - Condenses a large amount of lightening into either her left or right hand, and rushes in to punch the opponent, and around her fist seems to be the outline of a lightening dragon head. When she makes contact, a dome of electricity surrounds the opponent, electrocuting him/her severely. From the top of the dome the head of a dragon can be seen shooting into the sky.
Drawbacks: At the moment she can only use this twice a day, whether it hits or not.

Shock Shock Pulse – She runs into the opponent and thrusts her hands onto the opponent’s body (Usually stomach/chest or back) in which a loud ‘Crack’ noise will be heard and the opponent is flung back by a sudden and powerful shock of lightening. She has unlimited use of this attack.
Drawbacks: Though she can use this numerous times, each time she uses it the attack power decreases until it is nothing more than a small static shock.

Shock Shock Gloves – Coats her arms and legs in a layer of lightening giving her punches and kicks a serious power up. Can cause temporary or permanent paralysis of the limb if hit consecutively.
Drawbacks: Is only active for 4 minutes, and needs to be given a 30 minute rest period before it can be used again.
Other Information
Her favorite meal is Breakfast
Doesn't have a least favorite food
Loves any type of strawberry candy
Other than sailing, Sana's favorite mode of transportation are Yura's piggy-back rides
Can't drink more than one glass of beer
Sana's current bounty is Bsymbol.gif800,000

DanIcon_zps192ae73c.png
"Idiot, men don't carry diaries! This is a journal!"

Personal Information
Username: Pirate
Name: Dan Von Devile
Epithet: Black Devil (黒魔 Lit. Kuroma)
Age: 19
Blood Type: O-
Date of Birth: October 29
Position on Crew: Captain
anime-guy1.jpg

Dan is a young man standing at a height of 175 cm (5'09") and weighing 60 kg (132 lbs). His appearance is identical to the picture above with no changes.

A mostly calm, cool, and composed character, Dan carries himself with an air of confidence or, sometimes, just plain cockiness. He has a tendency to look down on his enemies and openly insults them; all while maintaining a mocking yet cool smirk. Dan usually switches postures between having his hands in his pant pockets and having his arms crossed; this adds to his cool and calm image. Dan puts a heavy emphasis in keeping things orderly, organized, and clean. A look at his suit and cabin is all the proof required to show his tidiness. The only time Dan is not orderly or tidy is when it comes to eating. He is not afraid to stuff his mouth and get dirty when eating good food, especially if that food is cooked by Sana who he regards as the best cook he's ever met. Contrastive of his usual persona, Dan is easily annoyed by small matters and can become quite angry when someone pushes his buttons too far. Despite this, he usually finds a way to revert back to his normal calm nature; this is usually accompanied by an adjustment of his tie.

Perhaps the most defining trait of Dan's is his tendency to angrily scold others when they mistake his journal for a diary; his reasoning being that men do not carry diaries but rather journals. While his reaction to people calling his journal a diary may differ from time to time, they always initiate with a silent buildup of rage before the actual outburst. Another feature of his personality is that Dan suffers from an extreme case of arachnophobia. Even the smallest of spiders will have him hiding behind something while shouting at his crew mates to get rid of it. Around openly flirtatious women, Dan easily becomes nervous and reserved even though he attempts to put on an apathetic facade (which anybody with common sense can see through). Being born the son of a Vice Admiral of the Marines, Dan has a natural affinity for leadership, or at least he strongly believes so. He always attempts to take charge of a situation and is the first one to hand out orders when necessary.

The only time where his leadership seems to diminish is when he is around his mother. In fact, both Dan and his father become submissive when faced by that intimidating woman. Although Dan does not speak about her often, he actually has a great relationship with his mother. Dan's mother is known to frequently spoil him and is always looking out for his well-being. Dan's relationship with his father, however, is not great. Dan is a pirate and his father is a Vice Admiral of the Marines. Their conflicting view points on various matters have soured their relationship causing the father and son to have not spoken with each other in over half a decade. Despite this, Dan's father still worries for his son's safety and is constantly looking for ways to protect Dan from being pursued by Marines. Towards his new family, his crew, Dan is extremely protective and caring of them. He is willing to lay down his life for any and all of them at any given time and without the slightest hint of hesitation.

Dan & Sana
Dan is very fond of Sana. He enjoys her vibrant personality and her wonderful ability to handle food. Dan often praises Sana for her fantastic cooking and he genuinely believes that Sana is the best cook he has ever had the fortune to meet. Before Sana came aboard, Dan had to survive on Jack's horrid cooking and don't even get him started on Yura's abominations. Sana seems to be the only person thus far, aside from his mother, who he can openly smile around; not his usual smirk but an actual, genuine smile. Dan is entirely oblivious to Sana's crush on him. He doesn't question Sana when her face becomes red or when she "overheats" around him; he just believes her to be often sick. Dan is comfortable being around Sana and unlike the cook, herself, Dan doesn't mind getting up close to her when necessary. In battle, Dan works extremely well with Sana. Dan's relationship with Sana seems to be the calmest amongst the crew, at least in Dan's perspective that is.

Dan & Jack
Possibly Dan's most chaotic relationship with a crew member, Dan and Jack don't usually see eye-to-eye on many matters. Where Jack is lazy and relaxed, Dan is attentive and tensed. Dan oftentimes questions Jack's work ethics resulting in him scolding Jack when he dozes off. Dan also has a tendency to physically injure Jack in some way, usually with a good kick. In return, Jack teases Dan for the fact that he carries a diary to which only makes Dan that much angrier. Despite their constant bickering and exposing of each other's negatives, Dan and Jack have a mutual respect and trust in each other. They're impressed by the strength the other person possesses and always have each other's backs in the thick of battle. They also share many similarities with each other as well including their love for Sana's cooking, their hatred of the Marines and morganeer pirates, their fear of Yura's medical techniques, and, above all else, their desire to find One Piece.

Dan & Yura
To Dan, Yura is the most respectable member of the crew as well as the wisest. Dan usually approaches Yura for advice on various topics and even if Dan had not asked for it, Yura will instinctively give him advice on taking care of his health. As the crew's doctor, Dan is completely confident in Yura's medical capabilities. However, because Yura has a tendency to lock himself in his cabin to perform medical experiments, Dan is reluctant to ask Yura for minor medical help believing that Yura might "experiment" on him if given the chance. In fact, Dan does his best to not get injured in battle just to avoid receiving medical care from Yura. Even when Dan does, in fact, need medical treatment, he usually asks Yura to treat him in his own cabin instead of being in Yura's "room of horrors". Nevertheless, when it comes down to it, Dan's puts absolute faith in knowing that Yura will be able to save him from any critical injuries. He also trusts that Yura can keep Jack in check when required.
Hobby(s): Writing in his journal; Eating Sana's food; Contemplating thoughts while staring at the sea
Dan was born the son of Vice Admiral Lancett Shuguro and Miriette Von Devile on an island town located in the East Blue. As a child, Dan had everything a kid could want. He had a loving mother, a father who everyone admired, and wealth beyond most people's wildest dreams. And for some time, Dan believed that his life was perfect. Because his mother spoiled him so much as a kid, Dan became a selfish, arrogant bully, picking upon the other kids in town. Because of this, Dan's father became strict on him, punishing him for committing such heinous acts much to his protest. His mother could not bear to punish him, herself, and so she kept on spoiling him to compensate for his father's strict nature, causing Dan to become worse and worse. Dan grew to hate his father. Then, his father began leaving him and his mother to continue his work at the Marines' headquarters. They began seeing less and less of him each day, causing Dan's relationship with his father to sour even worse than it already has.

Dan's behavior only became worse as the days passed and his mother felt too guilty to properly punish him for his misdeeds. One day, his father arrived back home and brought with him a strange chest. When Dan asked what was contained within the chest, his father merely told him that he did not needed to know. Several days later, Dan's father had to take his leave for yet another assignment from the Marines' headquarters. Because of the suddenness of the assignment, Dan's father accidentally left the key to the chest back at the estate. Realizing this, Dan took the opportunity and stole the key. He used the key to open the chest, believing that it would contain some type of treasure, only to find that it contained some strange gray-colored fruit. Dan was quite disappointed at first but then decided to eat the fruit as a way to disobey his father. Unfortunately for Dan, the fruit tasted absolutely terrible.

That evening, while walking along the pier, Dan contemplated about running away from home to avoid ever seeing his father again. He wondered about becoming a pirate which he saw as the perfect way to escape his home turned prison. Before he knew it, Dan found himself tripping over a broken plank of wood and falling into the water. Naturally, Dan was an adequate swimmer but for some reason, he couldn't muster up the strength to swim back to shore. Dan began to sink below the water's surface. Believing that he was going to drown to death, Dan passed out. When Dan awoke, he found himself within his room along with a doctor. The doctor explained to him that his mother had saved his life. After the doctor had left, Dan's mother entered into the room and confronted Dan with his sudden inability to swim. His mother explained to him that the fruit he had eaten was called a "Devil Fruit" and because Dan had eaten it, he would never be able to swim again, much to Dan's dismay.

The next week, Dan's father arrived back home, furious that Dan had eaten the Devil Fruit. As punishment, Dan was forced to remain within the estate for the next year to prevent him from causing any more trouble. During this time, Dan's father left the estate to focus on his work. Each day, Dan began to discover that the Devil Fruit gave him the power to control shadows. He secretly trained himself, waiting for the perfect moment to escape and start a new life as a pirate. Once Dan was strong enough, he forced his way out of the estate and left the island on a small boat. When his mother had arrived back home from a three-day trip, she was delivered the bad news by some servants. Devastated, Dan's mother contacted his father in an attempt to figure out how to rescue Dan. Hearing the news from his wife, Dan's father gave up on his son, refusing to search for him. Hearing this, his wife had no response but to attempt to find Dan on her own. She set out on her own ship in a search to find her son.

Meanwhile, Dan had unfortunately stumbled across a pirate crew during one stormy night. This pirate crew was led by a captain who also ate a Devil Fruit. Dan was defeated in a battle against the captain and was forced to become a slave for the crew. For three years straight, Dan worked as a slave for the crew and was constantly mistreated. With no time to develop his powers, Dan had no hope in fighting for his freedom; at least not alone. During this time, he met Jack who was also captured as a slave by the pirate crew. Dan and Jack soon decided to become mutual allies and fought back against the pirate crew that had enslaved them. Working together, Dan and Jack were able to drive the pirates off of the ship and commandeered it for themselves. Dan became the captain and Jack became his first mate; Dan also renamed the ship to the "Gloomy Mary" after his mother, Miriette (despite his mother's personality not being gloomy at all). Dan learned from Jack about the legend of One Piece which now they pursue in hopes of being the third pirate crew to obtain the ultimate treasure. As they continued their travels, Dan and Jack met Yura and, soon, Sana.

Although his decision to become a pirate initially stem from his selfishness and desire to escape his family, through the adventures that he had with his crew, Dan realized he now had a new family and his new desire is to, along with his family, find One Piece.
Combat Information
Kage Kage no Mi V2 - Shadow-Shadow Fruit Variant 2

Strengths: This variant of the original Shadow-Shadow Fruit possesses almost all of the original fruit's abilities and weaknesses. The main differentiating factor of this variant fruit is that it grants its user the ability to manipulate shadows of inanimate objects as well. The user is also able to mold and shape shadows into different forms for a multitude of effects. The Shadow-Shadow Fruit Variant 2 is arguably one of the most versatile Devil Fruits, allowing for the user to attack from almost all ranges; although the preferred range is somewhere from close to mid-range. A relatively new fruit, the Shadow-Shadow Fruit Variant 2 has yet to fully reach its true potential but with diligent training, Dan may be the first to unlock the Devil Fruit's power.

Weakness: Even though the Shadow-Shadow Fruit Variant 2 is a powerful Devil Fruit, the strength of the fruit is dependent upon the intensity of shadows. In other words, the darker the shadow that is used to form attacks, the stronger the attack and vice versa. Because it is a variation of the original Shadow-Shadow Fruit, it maintains many of the weaknesses associated with the original as well. Perhaps the biggest problem with this fruit is that it can become rather unstable. When this happens, Dan is usually unable to control the fluctuating power of the fruit and usually left burnt-out when his powers begin to stabilize once more. The cause of its instability can be attributed to the fact that it is a relatively new type of Devil Fruit. Because of this, it's true power is unknown and only with diligent training will Dan be able to understand this new fruit.
Weapon Appearance: N/A
Expert Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Dan is incredibly skilled when it comes to hand-to-hand combat, although it would be more accurate to say leg-to-leg combat considering his main source of attacks come from kicks. Dan's kicks are infamously known to be quite powerful and fast.

Durability: While mostly known for his offensive capabilities, Dan also sports a pretty decent defense in terms of durability. Dan is able to withstand incredibly powerful attacks and is still able to get up afterwards, although he is injured greatly if an attack is extremely powerful.

Speed: Dan is also known to be rather quick on his feet allowing him to easily dodge many attacks.

Acrobatic: Dan makes use of many leaps and intricate maneuvers in combat for both offense and defensive purposes.

Haoshoku Haki - Dan is able to use a weak version of the Haoshoku Haki, however, this ability can only be activated at random times and the rate of activation is minuscule that it's deemed as a rare occurrence. In fact, the times Haoshoku Haki has actually activated were so few and far between that Dan doesn't even realize he has this unique ability.

Black Projectile: Shadow gathers onto Dan's boots and when Dan performs a kick, he can release the collected shadow as an extremely fast, circular projectile that acts like a mini cannonball upon impact. Dan can also release the shadow as a sharp wave that acts like a powerful sword strike upon impact. He is able to perform this technique in rapid succession, though the speed of which is dependent upon how fast he can physically kick (which is quite fast).
Drawbacks: As with all of Dan's techniques, he must be standing on an area with a shadow or at least be close enough to a source of shadow that it can be gathered effectively. The strength of the actual projectile or wave is dependent upon how dark or dim the shadow is. The primary drawback of this technique is that the projectile or wave can only go in the direction that Dan kicks in, allowing no room for flexibility and thus a quick enough opponent can easily dodge the attack.

Shadow Sneak - This unique attack allows Dan to stick his arm(s) or leg(s) into a shadow and the corresponding body part will arise from another shadow spot. This allows Dan to attack enemies from afar and even pull an object or enemy through a shadow to Dan's position.
Drawbacks: Along with the standard drawbacks associated with the Shadow-Shadow Fruit Variant 2, this attack also has a limited range which is a radius of sixty feet. Any shadow outside of the zone cannot be accessed by Dan unless he moves closer to the source. Dan is unable to enter into a shadow and reappear at a different shadow and his ability to pull an object or person through a shadow is dependent upon two criteria: the shadow must be at a certain level of darkness and if the object or person being pulled through a shadow is larger than the shadow they are being pulled through, the technique will not work.

Black Devil Version 1 - Shadow is gathered onto Dan's entire body and covers every except for his face. The shadow transforms his nails into claws and his boots into clawed feet. A long tail with an arrowhead-shaped end and long, curved horns are also formed. In this form, Dan's physical attributes are enhanced four times over, making him a powerhouse of a combatant. In this form only, Dan is able to utilize an attack in which he gathers a ball of shadow between his two palms and when the ball is fully formed, Dan forcefully slams his hands together to create a shock wave of black energy that has a blast radius of thirty feet.
Drawbacks: The primary drawback of this form is that it is only able to be activated at night and only when the moon is not obscured by any clouds. Also, this form has a time limit of thirty minutes. After the time has ended, Dan will revert back to his normal state and is rendered unconscious leaving him completely vulnerable. The time it takes for Dan to awaken is random each time.

Personal Information
Username: Pirate
Name: Jack R. Madson
Epithet: Jack-of-all-Trades (多芸は無芸 Lit. Tageihamugei)
Age: 25
Blood Type: AB+
Date of Birth: January 15
Position on Crew: First Mate; Navigator; Swordsman
Jack stands at a height of 191 cm (6'03") and weighs in at 73 kg (162 lbs). Jack has fair skin, turquoise-colored eyes, and a muscular physique (although not enough to make him appear overly big or bulky). Jack sports chin-length, light blonde hair with a majority of his bangs curving towards the right side of his forehead, long hair that hangs from the side of his face, and messy, spiky hair that frame the top of his head. Jack is a rather handsome individual and he understands how to use his looks to his advantage (although once someone hangs around Jack long enough, the effects of his good looks diminishes greatly). Jack has three tattoos located on his body. The first is an angry bull's head located on his right bicep. The second is a roaring tiger head located on his left bicep. His last tattoo is the grandest out of all three; it is a full dragon image located on his back. Jack's attire consists of a sleeveless, turtleneck jacket in a lavender mist color with the zipper pulled past his neck, bluish gray trousers with the ends stuffed into a pair of black boots, a large, blue sash with wave images at the ends of the sash worn around his waist, and a large, light brown belt worn horizontally across his chest.

Jack's personality can be summed up by a few of his favorite interests: sleeping, eating, drinking, gambling, and women. It's almost as if Jack is the personification of the stereotypical pirate in terms of behavior. Jack's worse attribute is his laziness; one can almost always find him sleeping while on navigation duty, forcing Sana to help him out. When it comes to eating, Jack is an absolute beast just like Dan. He can eat as much as ten average people in one sitting. Drinking is another specialty of Jack's. He is the best drinker of the entire crew. It takes abnormal portions of alcohol to get Jack drunk. Gambling is another one of his favorite pastimes, although, admittedly, Jack is a terrible gambler in the traditional sense. Because of his good looks, Jack is quite the womanizer. In fact, he's infamous around the Four Blues as the "man who broke a thousand hearts". Needless to say, many of his enemies are women. Although he has pretty much abandoned the life of a full-fledged Casanova, Jack understands that he is capable of utilizing his good looks and charm for a variety of purposes. Although, there are some women who seem to be entirely unaffected by Jack's looks; one of these women just so happens to be a part of his crew (Sana).

Those who know Jack well, like his crew mates, often describe him as an "idiot" and for good reasons as well. Jack does a lot of questionable things that people would see as being idiotic, although he tends to never learn from his mistakes and will continue to do idiotic things. However, in his defense, Jack is capable of being quite sly and clever when the situation calls for it. Perhaps his idiocy merely stems from the fact that Jack does what interests him instead of worrying about the interest of the collective group. Jack is known for having a sarcastic, matter-of-fact attitude and approach when it comes to everyday situations. He tends to be relaxed to a fault but he understands when to get serious. Despite his usual laziness that causes him to shrug off navigation duty, when Jack does take control of the wheel, he is known to be one of the best navigators currently alive. He is also known as one of the greatest swordsman alive as well. Despite what seems like many negative attributes, Jack has a kind heart. He is always there for his friends and those who are innocent, ready to lay down his life to protect them.

Jack & Yura
Yura is Jack's closest friend on the crew. The two of them are almost always seen together and whenever the crew is split up into smaller teams, Jack is almost always on a team with Yura. Out of all the crew members, Yura is the one that judges Jack's actions and behaviors the least, even going as far as supporting some of his decisions (although there is logic to Yura's decision of supporting Jack). Even so, Yura still plays his part in keeping Jack in check and working when needed. Jack is comfortable talking to Yura about anything including gossip, dirty jokes, tales from each other's past, etc. Jack and Yura are also the only current crew members to have caught onto Sana's crush on Dan, although the two of them play very different roles in this matter. Like Dan, Jack is absolutely terrified of Yura's unique approach to medical practices which leads him to always refuse a medical assessment from Yura. Despite this, Jack believes fully in Yura's abilities as the crew's doctor. Jack and Yura make a fearsome pair in combat, working extremely well to cover each other's weaknesses. Jack knows that Yura will always have his back and he will always have Yura's back.

Jack & Sana
Jack and Sana's relationship is very much like that of an older brother and younger sister. While they may annoy each other constantly, in the grand scheme of things, Jack and Sana have each other's backs no matter what. Sana can annoy Jack greatly at times with her minor, joking insults. Jack seems to fluctuate between ignoring the insults and retaliating with small comments of his own. Perhaps the biggest weapon Jack has against Sana is his knowledge of Sana's crush on their captain which he often teases her about; although he would never tell Dan for fear of Sana electrocuting him to death. Due to his tendency of sleeping on the job, Sana usually has to step in as a temporary navigator when she's not cooking. Jack usually thanks Sana by taking her shopping and paying for whatever she buys when they dock at a town; although Sana has a tendency to abuse Jack's wallet whenever she gets a opportunity to. Jack absolutely loves Sana's cooking; he and Dan are almost always fighting over food when the crew gathers to eat. Jack is extremely protective of Sana, especially in situations when the two of them are forced to face off against strong opponents.

Jack & Dan
Whether it's about how to defeat a large group of enemies or who deserves the last piece of deliciously cooked meat during dinner, Jack and Dan are constantly bickering with one another. Dan is easily annoyed by Jack's lazy antics and Jack is easily annoyed by Dan's uptight approach to almost everything. When these two lock horns, it's best to steer clear and let things work themselves out. It seems that Yura is currently the only person who can settle a situation between the two stubborn pirates. Out of all the crew members, Jack is the one who annoys Dan the most by constantly calling Dan's journal a diary. In return, Dan never passes up an opportunity to physically injure Jack in some way. Although it may seem like they hate each other's guts, the truth is actually quite the opposite. Jack and Dan are fully capable of getting along fantastically with each other. This stems from the fact that these two share the exact same goals and ambitions with one another. They fuel each other's perseverance and drive to find One Piece in order to make a name for themselves in the pirate world. Out of all the crew members, Jack has saved Dan's life the most.
Hobby(s): Sleeping; Eating Sana's food; Training
Jack was an orphan living in a small town located somewhere in the West Blue. He never met his father or mother nor has he ever had the privilege of even hearing about who they were. At Jack's orphanage, he was known to be quite the troublemaker, always actively running around causing mayhem for others. No matter what kind of punishment he received, Jack would continue to act rebellious. Many workers at the orphanage believed that his misbehavior stemmed from the fact that everyone refused to tell Jack about his parents. Indeed, that turned out to be the case. Jack was acting out because he wanted the orphanage workers to pay attention to him in order for him to ask about his parents. However, each time Jack brought up questions regarding his parents, the workers would continue to ignore him or make up excuses to avoid Jack's questions. Believing that no one would tell him about his parents, Jack now spent his time learning to be a swordsman in hopes of becoming the world's greatest someday. He was inspired to do this when, one day, he heard the other children at the orphanage talking about the legendary swordsman, Roronoa Zoro.

Hearing about the legendary crew member of the Straw Hat Pirates made Jack imagined about life on the high seas. He hoped of becoming a powerful swordsman so one day he could join a pirate crew to travel around the world looking for adventure. Maybe someday he would be able to find someone who knows his parents; at least that was what Jack thought at the time. And so each day, at a secluded part of the orphanage's playground, Jack would practice sword fighting with a stick. At the age of eighteen, Jack left the orphanage and started living in a secluded shed on the outskirts of town. Every day he would go into town to work various odd jobs to support himself. Once he arrived back late in the afternoon, Jack would continue his sword training. Sometimes, a group of children would show up to train with him. When Jack finally gathered enough Beli, he bought a small boat to begin his quest to seek out a pirate crew to join; he believed his skill with a sword would impress any pirate crew. On the night that Jack was to leave his hometown, a crew of morganeer pirates arrived to plunder the town.

Before Jack was about to leave from one of the town's many piers, the group of children who had often trained with Jack arrived and told him of the pirates plundering the town. With a second thought, Jack old the children to stay hidden and made his way to town. Arriving there, Jack encountered a small group of the pirates and challenged them to a fight. Jack turned out to be no match for them and was swiftly defeated. Despite his rigorous training, Jack didn't understand how to properly wield a sword and that led to his downfall. Defeated both physically and mentally, Jack was about to meet his end when suddenly another band of pirates arrived and defeated the morganeer pirates. This group of pirates was, fortunately, peace main pirates who coincidentally arrived at the town around the same time as the morganeer pirates. Before Jack could notice what was happening, he passed out from his injuries. Jack awoke in his shed surrounded by the children he knew. They explained to him that the peace main pirates had saved the town and Jack's life.

Although he was grateful to the peace main pirates, he felt ashamed that all his training amounted to absolutely nothing; he felt worthless and sunk into despair over the fact that he was too weak to protect his town. Later on, a swordsman from the peace main pirate crew offered to train Jack if he agreed to join the crew. Jack refused at first due to his self-loathing but after the children renewed his hopes and confidence, Jack agreed to the swordsman's offer. Jack joined the peace main pirates and became a disciple under the swordsman, the first mate of the peace main pirates. Over a course of three years, the swordsman taught Jack everything he knew about swordsmanship and, soon, Jack had even surpassed him. Jack had become attached to his crew and told them that he would help them accomplish their primary goal: finding One Piece. During one stormy night at sea, Jack's crew was unfortunate enough to come across a crew of powerful morganeer pirates. Though Jack was much stronger now, he was still defeated and his crew members were killed. Jack was then thrown overboard to be killed by the restless sea.

Somehow, Jack managed to survive and washed ashore on some island located in the West Blue. After recovering, Jack fell into a depression over the loss of his crew and began drinking and gambling. In a further attempt to wash away his sorrows, Jack traveled the four blues, doing what he pleased and causing trouble. Jack had a happy facade during his entire journey but deep down he was miserable. One day, while he was traveling on his boat, a storm whipped up and Jack was swept towards a ship. The ship belonged to yet another group of morganeer pirates; this crew was known for capturing people and making them into slaves and that was exactly what happened to Jack. Sometime later, as a slave, Jack met Dan who, at the time, was also a slave of the crew. Though they had their differences, Jack and Dan decided they would use their combined powers to beat the pirates and take over the ship. They were successful in doing so and Jack robbed the pirates of their best treasures: five expensive swords and a Devil Fruit. From then on, Jack traveled with Dan and they soon met Yura and Sana and created a true pirate crew.

Although Jack had the initial intention of leaving Dan and continue his travels alone, once he met Yura and Sana and had various adventures with his new crew, Jack grew attached to them; he even saw them as his new family. Jack swore he would grow stronger to protect his new family and help them achieve their goal that was identical to the goal of his first crew: finding One Piece.
Combat Information
1. Five Swords (Four Katanas & One Broadsword)

2. Kaze Kaze no Mi - Wind-Wind Fruit

Strengths: The Wind-Wind Fruit is a Logia-type Devil Fruit that allows Jack to produce as well as transform himself into wind. With this in mind, Jack is capable of creating wind-based attack which are incredibly destructive and physically sharp and Jack, himself, is immune to the effects of strong winds such as those found in storms, tornadoes, etc. Jack can transform into wind to allow normal attacks to phase through him and can even utilize his windy body to fly. Jack can control the velocity of the wind he produces or transforms into, allowing him to adjust the physical intensity of the wind for various purposes; he can produce winds ranging from a calm breeze to a powerful storm, although he is nowhere near able to create the latter effect. The wind he produces can also adopt the effects of temperature e.g. creating freezing wind during a blizzard. Jack's most commonly used technique is creating a body of wind around himself that has four arms. He uses this technique to allow himself to use all five of his swords in battle.

Weaknesses: Along with the standard Devil Fruit weaknesses, The Wind-Wind Fruit's most prominent weakness, which is also a strength, is its dependency upon weather conditions. Because the wind Jack produces changes depending on the weather, opponents with immunity to a certain type of weather will be immune to Jack's wind. Jack. himself, is also highly susceptible to the weather because of his Devil Fruit; he easily gets colder or hotter faster than the average person which could weaken his physical capabilities in battle. Sudden rises or falls in temperature can dramatically weaken Jack because his body takes time to acclimate to the rapidly changing weather. While not an official weakness of the fruit, itself, Jack is more than often seen using his swords rather than his Devil Fruit abilities making Jack quite inexperienced when it comes to actually using his Devil Fruit powers.

Seiryu (青竜 Lit. Azure Dragon): The primary sword in Jack's arsenal, Seiryu is a gigantic broadsword with a blade that is nearly six feet in length and approximately two feet in width. The blade, itself, is a brilliant silver color with an intense azure sheen and is double-edged, meaning both sides of the blade is sharp. The crossguard is made of a light blue-colored metal and is slightly longer than the width of the blade; both ends of the crossguard are split and curved in opposing directions, much like the crossguard of Yoru, Mihawk's sword, except with more curvature. The cloth wrapped around Seiryu's handle is azure in color and the pommel of the sword is shaped as a golden eastern dragon's head.

Shutora (朱虎 Lit. Vermilion Tiger): Shutora is one of Jack's four katanas. In a similar fashion to Jack's other three katanas, the cloth wrapped around Shutora's handle is colored in the sword's namesake so this means Shutora's handle is a vermilion color. Shutora's tsuba is gold and in the shape of a tiger's face within a circular ring.

Fujikujaku (藤孔雀 Lit. Wisteria Peacock): Fujikujaku is one of Jack's four katanas. In a similar fashion to Jack's other three katanas, the cloth wrapped around Fujikujaku's handle is colored in the sword's namesake so this means Fujikujaku's handle is a wisteria color. Fujikujaku's tsuba is gold and in the shape of a male peacock's plumage.

Kogechaushi (焦茶丑 Lit. Scorched Ox): Kogechaushi is one of Jack's four katanas. In a similar fashion to Jack's other three katanas, the cloth wrapped around Kogechaushi's handle is colored in the sword's namesake so this means Kogechaushi's handle is a scorched brown color. Kogechaushi's tsuba is silver and in the shape of a bull's head within a circular ring.

Kinkame (金亀 Lit. Gold Turtle): Kinkame is one of Jack's four katanas. In a similar fashion to Jack's other three katanas, the cloth wrapped around Kinkame's handle is colored in the sword's namesake so this means Kinkame's handle is a gold color. Kinkame's tsuba is silver and in the shape of a turtle's shell.

Master Swordsman: Jack has an adept mastery of swordsmanship. This stems from the fact that he utilizes swords as his primary means of combat. He is able to utilize a special sword style called Gotenryu (五点流 Lit. Five-Points Style) in combat which consists of using his entire arsenal of swords. Although not quite legendary status, Jack continues to hone his swordsmanship skills in order to one day become the best swordsman alive.

Strength: Jack is incredibly strong as he is able to wield his massive Seiryu with ease as if it were a normal-sized sword. The true extent of his strength is unknown, however, Dan has commented in the past that Jack is quite physically strong.

Precision: Jack's eyes are incredibly strong. He is able to spot distant objects in detail from an extremely long distance as well as being able to spot the most minute of details on objects close to him. His eyes are so great that he's been described by Yura as being "a human telescope". His amazing eyesight is quite useful in combat as it allows him to spot and exploit numerous weak spots on an opponent.

Spatial Awareness: Jack is seemingly able to sense when an enemy is attacking even if the enemy is coming from behind him and/or is incredibly quiet. Even though Jack possesses this extraordinary sense, his actual body may not be able to move swiftly enough to avoid an attack.

Twister Slash: Transforming his arms into wind while utilizing his Seiryu, with a slash, Jack is able to produce a powerful, medium-sized twister to attack an enemy(s). The twister is incredibly fast and physically powerful enough to rip through a small ship. Jack can produce numerous twisters and can even control the size of the twisters if necessary. The larger twisters are able to pick up objects and fling the objects towards enemies.
Drawbacks: Although Jack is able to utilize the twisters in rapid succession, doing so will swiftly tire him out. Also, because the twisters produced are so powerful, Jack must utilize this attack away from the Devil Bats' ship or risk damaging the ship. Finally, while the twisters may be aimed at an enemy(s), they can only travel a limited straight distance before spiraling off course randomly and dissipating.

Five-Pointed Cyclone: While utilizing any number of his swords, Jack transforms most of his body into wind, save his torso, neck and head, and begins rotating at an incredible speed. Soon, Jack creates a large cyclone with him being the center and his swords protruding from various parts of the cyclone. Upon impact with an enemy(s), the cyclone is capable of completely destroying them.
Drawbacks: Because it is so incredibly destructive, once again, it is an attack used only when Jack is away from the ship to avoid damage. The primary drawback of this attack is, when utilizing it, Jack is completely blind. Because of this, the cyclone moves at random with no fixed course, making it relatively easy to dodge if given the proper distance and/or time.

Five-Pointed Slash: This attack consists of a power slash from each one of Jack's five swords simultaneously. This attack is capable of cutting an opponent into pieces and the force of the attack is so great that the wind speed surrounding the area picks up considerably. Currently, this is considered to be Jack's signature attack as well as a finishing move.
Drawbacks: This attack cannot be activated at will during a battle as Jack must build up the proper amount of energy before utilizing this attack. The attack's most prominent weakness is, during a brief moment, when the swords are coming together, Jack's torso is open to an attack. If a person is fast enough, they can attack Jack during the opening and cancel out the attack.
Other Information
• Jack, currently, has a bounty of Bsymbol.gif80,000,000.
• Though Jack will eat anything Sana cooks up, his favorite food is any grilled meat.
• Jack's swords used to belong to a famous pirate crew that was comprised of five brothers; each one used a different one of Jack's swords.
• Even to this day, Jack has yet to find out anything about his biological parents.
• Jack is an amazing drinker, the best of the entire Devil Bat crew; he seemingly cannot get drunk.

Personal Information
Username: Pirate
Name: Yura Seita
Epithet: Phantom (幽霊 Lit. Yurei)
Age: 25
Blood Type: B-
Date of Birth: November 30
Position on Crew: Doctor
Yura stands at a height of 185 cm (6'01") and weighs in at 69 kg (152 lbs). Yura has pale skin that is starkly contrasted by his piercing red eyes and long, jet black hair. The forefront of his hair, his bangs, is parted into two sections; the section on the right side of his face is enough to almost completely cover that entire side. The top of his hair is messy with several downward spikes; some protrude outward. His hair reaches down to about, or just above, the middle of his back. Yura has a muscular but slim physique that is hidden by his attire. His overall appearance evokes the image of a slender, phantom-like figure thus earning his feared epithet. Because of his cloak, the lower half of Yura's face is completely hidden from view and so no one, not even his crew mates, has ever seen his entire face. As mentioned before, the most prominent part of Yura's attire is his large, bistre-colored cloak draped over his shoulders and held in place by several buckles. The cloak features a raised collar that covers the bottom half of Yura's face and the bottom of the cloak has a tattered appearance. The cloak reaches all the way down to the lower half of his legs. Underneath his cloak, Yura wears a long-sleeved, black shirt with the sleeves tucked into long, black gloves and secured in place by three buckles on either side, form-fitting black trousers stuffed into dark brown Old West-style boots, three, dark brown belts worn in a z-shape connected together by two smaller belts, a brown satchel bag worn diagonally around his left shoulder, and two black, pistol holsters attached to the top belt.

Yura is certainly the biggest mystery of the Devil Bat Pirates. A quiet, calm, wise and respected man, Yura possesses an obscured past. He is an enigmatic figure, even to his crew; however, he is also one of the most trustworthy and reliable man a person can come across. Yura has a kind heart, always offering to treat others with his extraordinary medical skills without the need to be compensated. He seeks to improve his skills vastly beyond what it is now in order to be able to save anyone that requires his help, especially his crew mates who he has developed a close bond with. An initial glance of Yura can result in a person becoming unnerved by his striking, specter-like appearance. His silent demeanor causes people to mistake him as being cold and uncaring. However, the truth is far from it. He is a man with a very kind and sincere heart who wants nothing more than for others to succeed in their goals and aspirations; that is if those goals and aspirations do not hinder those of others. Yura is unusually protective of the lower half of his face, hiding it under a cloak at all times. He refuses to show his entire face to anyone, even his crew mates. This causes him to never eat and drink in front of others; he always takes his food to his cabin to eat it there in seclusion.

Anyone that attempts to remove his cloak to reveal the lower half of his face is usually greeted by a less-than-thrilled Yura; he may even resort to reacting physically in order to prevent someone from removing his cloak. Fortunately, his crew mates respect him enough to never attempt such a thing. Yura is somewhat of a pacifist. He detests the idea of causing another person harm due to his role as a doctor. That being said, Yura will not hesitate to engage an opponent(s) in combat if they threatened the safety of his crew or innocent people. Contrary to his epithet (which he detests) and the image of him created from it, Yura dislikes anything dead or decaying, once again, due to the fact that he is a doctor. Yura enjoys inventing, practicing and perfecting medical techniques alone in his cabin, much to the dismay of his crew mates, more specifically, Dan and Jack, who have a fear that they will be experimented on one day; this fear is, unsurprisingly, unfounded of course. Amongst the Devil Bats, Yura is considered the wisest. This makes him the person to go to for advice on a variety of topics and Yura is always willing to hear his crew mates out.

Yura & Jack
It is a mystery how these two are able to get along so well. A boisterous person such as Jack doesn't seem to be a good fit with someone as reserved as Yura, but somehow, they were able to look past their differences and established a close friendship. Yura and Jack are, currently, the oldest members of the Devil Bats. Because of this, they are often seen spending their free time sharing stories and experiences with each other. Yura finds Jack's exploits to be quite amusing to listen to and the same goes for Jack; although a lot of times Jack will doze off when Yura is telling him about his medical research. Because Yura has gotten to know Jack so well, he is less judgmental of Jack's questionable actions than either Dan or Sana. With that said, Yura still holds a certain level of disagreement towards many of Jack's behaviors. Despite this, Yura tends to only make small comments about those behaviors instead of punishing Jack for them like Dan or, at times, Sana. Because of their combat abilities, Yura and Jack are capable of working quite well together. This is evident by their tendency to pair up in battle. Jack even refers to himself and Yura as the "Dynamic Duo of the Devil Bats".

Yura & Sana
Although their initial meeting was less than spectacular, Yura and Sana quickly became close friends. Yura admires Sana's passion for cooking and vice versa. They urge each other to become better and better in their respective fields. Unlike Dan or Jack, Sana is usually calm and composed when being treated by Yura, although Yura knows that Sana is merely putting on a brave face to avoid discouraging him from continuing. In return, Yura attempts to be gentler with Sana than the other two. Yura also makes an effort to have strawberry-flavored lollipops available to Sana whenever he is finished treating her injuries; unfortunately, strawberry-flavored lollipops are rather difficult to come by. Sana often seeks Yura for advice or to just confide in him and Yura is always willing to listen to her troubles. He is also one of two, the other being Jack, that knows of Sana's crush on Dan, although, unlike Jack, Yura has explicitly promised Sana to not reveal her crush to the captain. Throughout their adventures together, Yura has had to carry Sana on numerous occasions due to injuries she had sustained and this evolved into Sana wanting piggyback rides from Yura. Although Yura often protests to doing so, in actuality, he doesn't really mind due to the fact that he, like Jack, views Sana as a younger sister.

Yura & Dan
Dan sees Yura as the most respectable member of his crew due to his intelligence and experience. Consequently, Dan often seeks Yura out for advice on various matters, similarly to Sana. Yura respects Dan's position as captain of the Devil Bats and trusts him implicitly. As a result of the trust he places in his captain, Yura will always follow Dan's decisions whatever they may be and without question, despite whatever consequences may result from it. Yura refers to Dan as his most troublesome patient due to Dan's recklessness in battle which causes him to sustain more injuries than the other crew members. Even more so, Dan is reluctant to be treated in Yura's cabin and prefers that Yura treats him within his own cabin. This reluctance stems from Dan's fear that he may become a part of Yura's medical experiments if he allows Yura to treat him in his cabin. Needless to say, that fear is completely ridiculous; although Yura will exploit it at times. Yura cares for Dan and his ambition to find One Piece. He is even willing to lay down his life if it means helping his captain achieve his dream.
Hobby(s): Practicing medicine; Finding rare medical ingredients; Conversing with Jack
It is unknown where Yura was born, who his parents are, or even what his childhood was like. Instead, Yura's story begins at the age of twenty. Yura was a wanderer, traveling the four blues on a small boat with no destination in mind. One day, Yura arrived at a town that was plagued by a terrible illness. He had no reason for being there. He was merely passing by in search of a reason for his existence. Up until that point, Yura had felt that his life had been without meaning and thus he traveled the world in search of a one. Once again, he found nothing of use to him in that town. However, due to an unfortunate stroke of bad luck, Yura became afflicted by the illness ravaging the town. He soon fell ill and was bedridden at the town's local inn. Yura was on the edge of death when, suddenly, a mysterious doctor appeared in town. His skills were so great that he was able to rid the entire town of a plague that had caused its inhabitants to suffer for nearly two years. When Yura was cured of the illness by the strange doctor, he was asked to assist the doctor in curing the town by mixing the ingredients for the medicine.

Yura and the doctor worked together for a month helping the people of the town and when they were finally finished, Yura finally realized the reason for his continued existence. Before the doctor left the town, Yura pleaded with him to allow himself to become his student. The doctor saw a fierce determination and a kind heart in Yura that made him accept Yura as his student. The pair then traveled to the doctor's home which was located on an island that housed an extraordinarily dangerous jungle full of geysers that produced large quantities of steam daily. Yura wondered why the doctor would choose to live in such a brutal and unforgiving environment. The answer was soon made clear to Yura for the island was also a paradise for many rare herbs used in medicine. For many years, the doctor trained Yura in everything he knew in medicine. Not only that, the doctor also taught Yura self-defense in order to survive against the dangerous creatures that inhabit the island's jungle. During this time, Yura also discovered and accidentally ate a Devil Fruit that granted him smoke powers.

When Yura was twenty-four, the doctor was suddenly stricken by a terrible and extremely rare disease that was known to have no cure. Yura did his best but failed to cure his dying teacher. Before he died, the doctor instructed Yura to continue his travels but, this time, with the goal of becoming the greatest doctor the world has ever known in order to carry out his dream. Yura promised his late master and, shortly after, the great doctor passed away. As promised, Yura began to travel the four blues again. This time, it was to search the world for rare ingredients to make new medicines for the diseases yet to be cured in the world. One day, Yura came across two of his future crew mates, Dan and Jack. Dan was gravely injured and Jack pleaded for Yura to save him. Fortunately, Yura was successful in doing so. Not long after learning of Dan and Jack's goal and seeing the determination they have to fulfill their dream of finding One Piece, Yura decided to join the Devil Bats as their new doctor to help accomplish their quest as well as his own. It was not long after that that Yura met Sana and the Devil Bat Pirates continued their adventures on the high seas.

Yura grew close to his crew even going as far as to think of them as his new family. He continues to help his crew search for the legendary One Piece left behind by the great Monkey D. Luffy.
Combat Information
1. Two Flintlock Revolvers

2. Moku Moku no Mi - Plume-Plume Fruit

Strengths: The user of this fruit is able to generate, manipulate, and become smoke. Like most other Logia-type fruits, when Yura is hit, he can simply use the fruit's power to become smoke, thus absorbing the attack and remaining unharmed. Like some of the other Logia-type type Devil Fruits, this one allows his user to "fly", by turning his body or the lower part of it into smoke, greatly enhancing his movement and speed. The main offensive capabilities of the fruit stem from his user's ability to change the density of the smoke produced at will. This allows Yura to surround his targets with his intangible smoke and then, solidifying it, to grasp them. The smoke can also be used as a blunt weapon, hitting enemies with great strength.

Weaknesses: Although the smoke's hold is difficult to break, it is possible to escape the it with a sudden, strong enough expansion of the body, a powerful enough force, or by the usage of another Logia-type fruit. It would seem that when confronted by fire, the smoke and fire will cancel out one another. Powerful wind, such as that from Jack's Wind-Wind Fruit, is, so far, the only natural weakness of the Plume-Plume Fruit, aside from the typical Devil Fruit weaknesses. Haki is the other only effective and reliable way to injure Yura when he is using the Plume-Plume Fruit's powers.

1351997244289.jpg

C000706_L.jpg

Hand-to-Hand Combat Expert: Yura's teacher had taught him hand-to-hand combat in order to defend himself against the dangerous creatures that lurk the island's jungle where he learned medicine at. Although not quite as skillful as someone like Dan, Yura is able to effectively fight against enemies using just hand-to-hand combat and, when necessary, combine his fighting skills with his Plume-Plume Fruit's powers, making Yura a tough opponent to defeat.

Skilled Marksman: Even before being taught how to fight with hand-to-hand combat, Yura had taught himself on how to effectively and skillfully handle firearms. With years upon years of practice, Yura has developed into quite the marksman. Despite this, Yura is reluctant to use his flintlock revolvers in combat as he refrains from killing his enemies.

Agility: Similar to Sana, Yura is quite light on his feet as well as swift. His sleek, phantom-like movements allow him to easily evade incoming attacks all the while striking fear into the hearts and minds of foolish opponents who believes that he is an actual ghost.

Phantom Whirlpool: Yura transforms himself into smoke and flies around his opponent(s) in a circle in order to daze and confuse them; this also intimidates and strikes fear into weak opponents. He then makes his hands tangible in order to grab his revolvers and fire off numerous bullets as his opponent(s) while continuing to move in a circle.
Drawbacks: Aside from the weaknesses associated with his Devil Fruit, a fast enough opponent can easily escape the circle of smoke by simply jumping out of the ring before Yura fires off his revolvers.

Phantom Shower: Yura transforms the lower half of his body into smoke and fly towards his opponent(s). Flying over them, Yura unleashes a volley of fire from his two flintlock revolvers or, when available, releases multiple bombs during his flight to injure the enemy(s).
Drawbacks: To gain the speed require for this attack, Yura must limit himself to a straight flight path. Deriding from a straight path will cause Yura's speed to lessen drastically, canceling out his attack. If an enemy is fast enough, they can also just simply move out of the way to evade Yura's attack completely.

Phantom Vortex: Similarly to his Phantom Whirlpool, Yura transforms into smoke and encircles an opponent(s). However, this time around, Yura creates an elongated vortex of smoke about thirty feet into the air, turns the smoke vortex tangible to prevent the opponent(s) from easily escaping, and then dives into the opponent from the maximum height of the vortex to injure them greatly; the force is enough to completely immobilize weak foes and, at the very least, break several bones in a strong opponent's body if they does nothing to defend themselves from the impact.
Drawbacks: The primary drawback of this attack is that Yura also receives damage in the process and so Yura only rarely uses this attack. The only reliable way to escape this attack is either to use Haki or the powers of a Logia-type Devil Fruit.
The green coat was given to him by his grandfather, he has kept it ever since he was 20 and it has been with him almost everywhere.

Will is known to be a psychotic mastermind with a distinct lack of preemptive planning, he in no way is afraid to cut down any man or women who steps in his way. On many occasions pirates have lost their life to him and he is intent on making that number grow even larger.   However in his current role as being under cover he takes the persona of Arthur the Ship's Cleaner, Arthur is seemed to be a quiet and weird individual and the only reason he is on board is because he really wanted a chance for an adventure so sometimes It can lead to some situations which can get people confused.
Hobby(s): Destroying Pirate ships, drinking whiskey.
Bio: Will's life has been corrupted with pain and suffering, when he was little most of his family were killed during a search of loot by pirates, he survived by running as fast as he could to the nearest town-he tried reporting the incident to some form of authority but they ignored him. However this scene scolded him for the rest of his life and has turned into a sadistic mastermind with an intent on destroying all that he can, pirate and authority alike.

Years after the incident he black mailed a pirate into giving him his ship and crew. Although he despises pirates he still uses them as work slaves and even an attempt to revolt would be suppressed by one man. He is known throughout the lands as being a fierce adversary and many people are warned to stay away from him including the authorities. This however doesn't stop him from latching onto prey.

Although clinically he was diagnosed with madness he still finds it interesting to watch people suffer and that he does well. It was argued among pirate lords that he attacked a ship once and forced some of the crew to eat fellow crew mates. He does not take kindly to idiocy either as the ship's commander soon found out.

Due to his mission of becoming a pirate wannabe he needed an official reason to be there just in case a back up plan was needed. And fortunately he had the perfect plan-he set sail for the Marine outpost and posed as a regular person wanting to become a marine, he was quickly enlisted and was given a duty by the Vice Admiral of the marines to watch over a ship. And so he did which allowed him for a perfect excuse to actually backstab them sooner or later.

Weapon Type: Makali ya Ole (Blade of Woe) a  Saijo O Wazamono and A duel-edged Katana (Whilst under disguise as Arthur),  Bari Bari no Mi
Strengths: He is very strong, has an extreme sense of speed and agility and can leap up to massive heights. This in turn leads him to be an extremely deadly enemy in close quarters.(Check link)
Weakness: However his speed does help against long ranged attacks he has nothing to defend himself with and in this case it usually ends with him facing the dirty side of the floor.(Check link)
sword_by_sarafiel-d5g7v0q.jpgTS-CRUSADER.jpg

Unrivaled Revenge:
Will's wanting for revenge leads him to anger, and whilst many people can't control their anger-Will has learnt to. He uses it to his advantage in multiple ways such as further increasing his strength and his agility. Whilst this an great increase in power this sometimes leads him to make reckless moves and so it can be dangerous and risky.

Guilty Pleasure:
Will enjoys making people suffer and so this prolonged ability allows him to basically haunt his enemies, he torments with their mind and makes them feel the opposite to whatever they are feeling. That being said this can lead to multiple situations in which it turns out much worse for himself and so it's only use is when he knows what his opponent is thinking.

Leap of Faith:
To put it simply this allows Will to jump incredible heights and survive falls no mere mortal could, this could be useful on multiple occasions as he can outsmart his opponent into thinking that they have actually killed him when really it's just a disguise to further increase his chances in a battle.

Torrential Suffering:  Will spins in a circular motion using his blades to create a kind of whirlwind making it difficult to hit him and damaging anyone that comes near, the attack itself however leads him vulnerable to ranged attacks.

Riposte: He un-equips the dual-bladed sword and uses both blades to attack his opponent with a bundle of combos and cuts that could heavily inflict wounds, although this attack can sometimes be seen as extremely quick it still leaves him unprepared for other attacks.

Shadow Always finds You: He infuses the darkness into his sword and uses it to cause ripples of shade at his opponents, the darkness in turns causes his enemy to feel a little light-weight and winded which could in turn easily lead up for follow attacks.
Mano is particularly short, no taller than 5'2" and weighing but 101 lbs. This light frame, with light muscle tone, allows Mano to quickly move around, jump, etc. He is athletic, less so the more rigorous sports, but more so aerobics. With all that said, Mano has brown hair and bright green eyes, alongside a clear complexion.

Mano is your bog-standard two faced person, though these two faces are so bizarre, one would be confused as to why he isn't locked up in an insanity asylum.

The first of these two faces is often attributed as cheeky, happy-go-lucky, and just a plain trickster. Mano can take pleasure in the simple things in life, and in doing so often aspires to spread happiness and laughter, which can come at the expense of another as this can often come about in the form of a playful practical joke, a number of these including blowing raspberries, pulling chairs from people, and, of course, banana peel slip-ups. However, he's not all a prankster, and does tend to enjoy making people happy by other mediums, such as simply being there and being friendly. He rarely objects to doing favours for people, and can be somewhat selfless in this degree as it is not uncommon to find Mano rarely asking for favours in return.

This second face is often attributed as primal, simple, and proud. Mano shows a very simple mind, and thus when he's not happy it is very likely he is to be frustrated for a reason. Whenever Mano is deficient in something, like being hungry or thirsty, or just plain bored for too long, he will often resort into entering a tantrum and can be found to physically strike out at things. Mano also is found to enjoy, or even lust after testing his abilities, from arm-wrestling competitions to races; the problem is that he hates when his pride is hurt, and that often conveys him to be a sore loser. However, consequentially he can be very persistent.

Mano cannot recall his parents. All he really recalls is his foster parents, who were a pair of monkeys whom inhabited Animal Island. Heck, he lived in an entire colony of these lovable, and indeed talking chimps. This place was the Monkey Kingdom, after all. At least he was being raised by animals that could talk, right? Well, a small little incident did hinder this regular childhood process Mano could have had, and that was his rouge encounter with the Chinpu Chinpu no Mi.

Having eaten the banana, he was confused at first, but soon after, things did begin to get more simple for Mano to understand. While his peers could speak, Mano easily began to understand the many languages they spoke, yet could not speak the tongue. He didn't know why, he just couldn't speak it. So, instead, he wrote it down. At least is was something. Any time he wanted to speak, three taps on his board and writing a few symbols he'd convey his way. However, his once human limitations seemed to disappear, and he easily began to rise in the ranks of his colony, so much so he became the Monkey King.

Of course, becoming the apex in the colony wasn't enough for Mano. Soon, he began to wish to wander the lands, and by becoming a stowaway, he managed to escape Animal Island. Thus, the Journey of the Monkey King began. He fought warriors from the Karate Islands, and stole their food. He wrestled against herders of large muscular bovines, and stole their food. He even visited a few orphanages in his time of travelling, and he didn't steal their food, because that would be mean. He stole the orphanage's matron's food, of course.

Over the course of his life, Mano's bounty was on the gradual rise, regarded as a violent food theif. He simply saw this as a means of survival. Now, during the course of his piracy career, food seemed to be supplied, which only enabled Mano's aggressive side to see more prowess. A number of battles with the marines made his name notable. Not too much to worry about, but he was significant enough to catch one's eye if they recognized him.

A few common urban legends lay with Mano, but the most prominent one is his Rage. When, and if triggered, accounts have often described Mano to become a demon of sorts, eyes sharp and focussed with fury. This urban legend comes about from the event that racked him up a bounty of Bsymbol.gif1,000,000: during a conflict with pirates, he entered his Feral Mind and began to ruthlessly attack and severely injure each and every other single member in the conflict. Many had broken limbs and torn muscles, some had bruising so severe their face was deformed. Mano had even managed to instil a phobia into one unlucky soul. After his exhaustion, he escaped the scene of the crime, leaving behind his old crew for solitary survival yet again.

Sea Breeze Village was agreeable enough for Mano, and so he stayed there and enjoyed snatching food from traders for a while, whether with his bewitching cute nature, or simply through brute force. He enjoys his meals and has a very big belly for meals and adventure. Little did he know just how much adventure he might be getting; would the Devil Bats Pirates' journey be big enough to fill this crazy chimp-kid's appetite?

~ Chinpu Chinpu no Mi / Chimp Chimp Fruit ~

Strengths: The Chinpu Chinpu no Mi is not a very well-known fruit, but the recurring theme between doctrines regarding this Devil Fruit, as well as the practise shown by Mano, would enlighten one about the very high degree of strength and speed it endows upon its consumer. It severely heightens the user’s awareness of their surroundings as well as enables them to move with much more dexterity, as well as increases the rate they can process their surroundings. This fruit also bolster’s Mano’s strength, increasing the strength of his grip and his muscles. Furthermore, with increased speed, Mano is able to use this fruit as well as his environmental conditioning to overwhelm his adversaries with unpredictably chaotic attacks.

Weakness: The Chinpu Chinpu no Mi has a recurring noted problem: it significantly suppresses cognitive development. In enhancing the primitive mind of its bearer, it hinders the memory processing abilities of the bearer too, and almost completely stunts any potential development in Broca’s Area, the part of the brain responsible for production of language. Mano remedies this by using a white-board with a marker to communicate, however in terms of speech he can only make noises, and prefers to make the screeches of his simian friends back home. In terms of combat, however, this is evident as this fruit’s best use is close-ranger, and thus renders any projectile-based use utterly hopeless.

Weapon appearance: The Chinpu Chinpu no Mi is a very deceptive Paramecia Devil Fruit, as it bears no difference in terms of colouring from that of a regular banana, save the markings upon it which are simply one shade darker than that of the fruit itself. As such its consumption can often go unnoticed, and it did in Mano’s case.

~ Simian Mimicry ~

Mano’s martial arts style, if it can so be called, is free form, however ties into that of a simian’s. This is further bolstered by his Devil Fruit, the Chinpu Chinpu no Mi. As such, this includes a number of particular qualities, as enlisted below:
Enhanced Agility – With this, Mano’s agility is above that of the normal person. This Devil Fruit user can go from one motion to another fluidly, effectively dodge attacks, swing from things easily, sprint, do back-flips and numerous other gymnastic, athletic and martial implements with little effort. This is the most crucial aspect to his martial arts.
Enhanced Balance – Mano has both extremely well developed sense of balance, the positioning of limbs and the center of balance as well as the physical condition to use these facts. He can manoeuvre himself in order to meet this aim
Enhanced Climbing – Mano is relatively able to climb and otherwise move effortlessly and smoothly on angled and/or vertical surfaces such as branches, rocks, walls, etc., as long as they can gain a hold of it and keep their balance.
Enhanced Dexterity - Mano can precisely control their movements and muscles, making him unable to be clumsy or fumbling. Mano has demonstrated this as he can reach through dangerous narrow tunnels, keep perfect balance, and juggle effortlessly without ever tripping or wobbling. He can also regain balance or bounce back to their feet quickly if knocked down
Enhanced Strength - Mano has a notable ability to defy weight limitations. Dense, lengthy, or overweight items are easy to move and simple to use in nearly any manner. Mano can easily toy around with a log and could easily swing it as a bat, but would clearly throw out his spine trying to life a truck.
Feral Mind – Mano is able to tap into primal, unstoppable rage that allows them to perform in vastly increased capacity, taking and inflicting damage that they wouldn't in their normal state. However, this comes at a very hefty price: Mano ceases to recognize ally from foe, and Mano stops taking his well-being into account, potentially resulting in Mano recklessly hurting his body, even to the extent with a mortal wound. It is common to find him fainting after engaged in this mind-set. Of course he can only do so when in a state of such rage. See below as to how he enters this state.

~ Stupidity ~

Mano’s degree of a lacking in intelligence is so significant; it has given him a number of special abilities which contribute towards this, due to the simple nature of his mental processes. As such, he has gained a fair number of abilities:
Mental Protection – Mano is almost too stupid to be able to reason. Controlling or altering his mind, thanks to the Chinpu Chinpu no Mi has been rendered absolutely pointless.
Empathy – Mano’s instinctive drive is more dominant than the majority of his mental processes. He can read people, as well as the air they give off, and can attempt to console them with his simple nature.

~ Rage ~

During the course of Mano battling an opponent, he builds up Rage Stacks. Each 5 Rage Stacks will make Mano more dangerous in battle with everyone he’s fighting, but he can easily be calmed down with a friendly face of an ally. Upon reaching 30 Rage Stacks, however, Mano’s “Feral Mind” state is unavoidably triggered.

Somersault: Mano flips through the air, crashing down at his target location, doing damage to all nearby enemies. When landing on an opponent, rather than simply slamming into them, he can grab onto them and, instead, thrash out on that opponent in close quarters. In doing so, he gains 2 Rage Stacks.
Drawback – At all times Mano is prone to attack. Albeit, his speed might mitigate this, but at no time is Mano guaranteed to even be able to land his attack.

Tantrum: A technique literally driven towards building up Rage Stacks, Mano has a little tantrum which, not only acts as a wonderful distraction, but also augments his next series of attacks with a strength oomph. This builds up a significant 5 Rage Stacks.
Drawback – What more needs be said? If someone has a tantrum when not specifically asked too, it can just be really upsetting for those around him, and such an attitude can be very irritating. It is not very handy for stealth, as one would imagine.

Trick-robatics: A technique for evasive purposes, Mano engages in a rhythmic manner to dodge and teasingly evade his opponents. A lot of laughter can come about from this, which is actually very euphoric to Mano, allowing him to actually decrease his Rage Stacks.
Drawback – If he’s hit just once, he’ll gain a dangerous 8 Rage Stacks. That makes for one bad monkey.
Not being one of any specifically sophisticated nature, Boone prefers to lounge around in a workshop, creating and maintaining guns or reading books on numerous different subjects. Although he prefers to be laid back, preferring to take his time and watch rather than rush, he can be quite outspoken and often calls it how he sees it, although he will not purposely cause trouble in this way. This speaks to his friendly nature as he will not purposely seek out to harm others and is certainly not cruel like many other pirates. Although he may seem simple, he is a very complex person and can have some confusing views on life.

Boone grew up in a small village called Reaften Village. His mother was a bartender and his father, a Marine man. His life began three years after the birth of his older brother, who he looked up to like a hero. At the age of six, his father died in battle against pirates, leaving his brother and mother as his remaining family. Life was hard after that, his father's Marine pay took care of most of the bills, but Boone was always a strong child and always helped his mother with the work.

Several years later, Boone's brother joined the Marines and left home. This only served to make Boone himself strive to become a Marine too, since he idolized his big brother. He worked as hard as he could, ever day, to keep his mother taken care of while she tended her bar. For a couple of years afterwards, life was good. The money coming in from his brother's service and his mother's bar were paying the bills quite nicely, until one day, he and his mother received news that his brother had deserted the Marines and that a bounty had been put on his head.

Now, at the age of eighteen, Boone has decided that the best way t find his missing brother would be to sail the seas in search of him if only to find out why he did it. That is how he found his way to Sea Breeze Village, in search of a crew not tied by the bounds of the Marines so that he may search freely across the South Blue. Though the Devil Bat Pirates may not have been exactly what he was expecting.

Combat Information

Weapon Type: Rifle, Hand to Hand
Strengths: The rifle is a very heavy, medium/long ranged weapon. It can easily cripple foes in one shot and is as powerful as a small canon.
Weaknesses: Like previously stated, the Rifle is very heavy and cannot be used quickly, often leaving Boone open for attacks.
Weapon Appearance: Rifle
General Abilities:  Though Boone is slow while using his rifle, he is very swift in attacking when he's not holding it. He can use his great physical strength when in close quarters, as he has learned a little hand to hand skills from his father and brother.

Attacks:

Heavy Metal: Using his rifle, Boone puts a great deal of his strength into a single swing. This is much faster than his normal swing but still leaves him wide for a counter attack.
Big Iron: This is a combo attack using his Heavy Metal swing to debilitate his foes, then quickly using his rifle to finish the job in one or two shots. Though this attack is faster than the regular swing, it takes more power and leaves him weaker.

Other Information:

• Boone has not accrued a bounty.
• He is not picky as to what he will eat, but he prefers fried food.

Sea Breeze Village: The starting Village in the Role Play, where the Devil Bats meet their crew members for the first time. It's a small port village, with amazing summer time weather. While not uncommon for pirates to dock here, most don't cause trouble in favor to the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Mostly famous for it's strange concoction of Sea Salt Beer. No one knows what's in it, but its eccentric taste keeps the customers coming back for more.

Karate Island: An island where people congregate to in order to learn the martial art of their choice. Numerous Dojos claim the island, and despite the different styles of teaching there is harmony and peace among the practitioners.

Steam Island: A large island that for some unknown reason spouts out steam from large holes that are located sporadically throughout the island. Due to all the steam produced, outwards at a 5 mile radius there is a thick fog that proves hard to see through. Due to the steam it creates a perfect humid environment for a rain forest like island. The trees are all between 15 to 30 meters tall, with all sorts of vegetation and wildlife. The deeper you go into the island the more dangerous and bigger the wildlife gets. The only town located on the island is on the south side and aptly named Fog Town. Despite the zero visibility getting to the island, when in the town it's much better to not by much.

Baterilla: The island known to be the home of Portgas D. Ace. This island is much like a tropical island, equipped with palm trees and cabanas. This is a very festive island, known to hold numerous festivals through the week. Most pirates traveling through the South Blue tend to migrate here, similar to Lougetown before crossing into the Grand Line. The island has almost perfect weather. Never raining long enough to hinder anything, but perfect for the crops and abundant fruits. Trading ships frequently stop in order to gather the fruits which are known to be the best in both the South and East Blue.

Briss Kingdom: Was a kingdom, in which the inhabitant's most well known custom was to cover their teeth with tar to help preserve them. Now, however, it is nothing but ruins. As far as anyone knows, it is uninhabited.

Animal Island: An Island fully inhabited by forest, tall rocky terrain, and all sorts of animals. Only those strong enough to brave the wild would land here. The strange thing is, there is a rumor going around that these animals can talk. The island itself is surround by a strange current that prevents people from getting too close. However, every 7 hours the current stops allowing for passage for only 30 minutes.

Lilly Hill Island: Just as the name implies, this Island is 2/3 mountainous area filled with thousands of Lilly flowers. Other than it's extraordinary beauty, this Island is also known for have some of the most beautiful women and men alike. On this Island there are five different villages each of them located in a valley. They are named for their position on the Island; Naka Lilly Village, Minami Lilly Village, Higashi Lilly Village, Nishi Lilly Village, Kita Lilly Village. However, Naka Lilly Village is not inhabited due to the village being turned into ruins after it burned down. The strange thing is that not everyone who lands on this island leaves, though it happens so rarely that people don't think much of it.

Other Information
• Dan, currently, has a bounty of Bsymbol.gif20,000,000.
• Dan is not overly fickle about what he eats as long as it is cooked by someone skillful like Sana.
• After becoming a pirate captain, Dan changed his surname to Von Devile, his mother's maiden name.
• Dan's favorite symbol is the "Brick Bat" which is an ability of the Shadow-Shadow Fruit family.
• In fact, the name "Devil Bat Pirates" is derived from the image of a Brick Bat.
• The Devil Bat Pirates' Jolly Roger is a skull that appears strikingly similar to a Brick Bat along with two small horns, two devil wings, and a curved devil tail.
• Dan is an adequate drinker; he is able to hold his own against Jack for quite some time before passing out cold.

Other Information
• Yura, currently, has a bounty of Bsymbol.gif850,000.
• Yura's favorite food is steamed sea bream; he detests any sour food.
• It is currently unknown how Yura obtained his two flintlock revolvers although they seem of high importance to him as evident by his constant maintenance of his weapons.
• Yura is described by Sana as having an extremely comfortable back.
• It is unknown to what extent is Yura able to drink alcohol since he has never drink any type of liquid in public view.

Combat Information

Wow, an excellent app Kyng. Nice use of the Monkey King character but with the proper amount of alteration as to not blatantly copy the entire character. Awesome approach to combat too with the Rage Stacks ^^

I'm more so glad that you think I've done the character justice ^^;

I'm glad you liked the Rage Stacks. I enjoy adding components to characters that put the "Game" feel to Role-playing Games.

I just have one word for that app....ADORABLE!

Is it bad that I want to hug him and cuddle with him?

Not at all, that's how you knock off his Rage Stacks ^^

Will_-_nocturne.jpg
Ignore the red strip in his hair. Standing at 6'2", he usually does not wear the blue coat, showing a long-sleeved shirt underneath.

"Blame it on my psychotic nature."

Personal Information

Username: BlackBeard the Pirate. hinthint.
Name: Will Sampson
Epithet: Psycho-Willy
Age: 26
Blood Type: B
Date of Birth: 21, Aug
Position on Crew: Captain (Acting: Cleaner)
7769ca49caf34a87b0dc4e28da322dccf60cde51

Combat Information

All Devil Fruit moves are listed on the wiki: http://onepiece.wikia.com/wiki/Bari_Bari_no_Mi
