Megaman X: Command Mission

Another game that has me feeling quite nostalgic. It was the first Megaman game I actually played (and first Gamecube game). It is an RPG, that stars X, Zero, and Axl as the main three, doing what they do best: Hunting Mavericks.

So, the good:

Variation in equipment with both pros and cons to them/ equipment actually changes how your weapon looks

Good choice of party members each with unique skillsets

Lots of gameplay to keep you entertained

Hyper Mode

The bad:

Limited healing capability due to the Tank system

Optional bosses are RETARDEDLY hard

Game practically hands you boss wins via items

Bosses don't have health gauges

Interesting factoid: All female Reploids, as far as I can see, are named after spices.

Um, X, Zero, Axl was the best party, and the only other member that was useful was Marino for steal.

is my text message tone.

Never said the others were GOOD, just unique :P I remember the first time I played it, I used X, Axl, and Marino. I thought everyone else's Hyper Mode was lame.

I loved this game. I owned it for a long time before playing it, and it was great. I think that the game was easy enough to take on with a lot of different teams though.

Honestly, it really is. The game itself feels "casual" compared to most games nowadays.

And, I didn't mind it's casualness, it was just a simple, fun game that I got really into. (It's one of the few that I played after beating it.) I've noticed that for me, a lot of games try too hard to be difficult. Which sometimes just makes it tedious.

Totally agree, such as...let's pick on my favorite target, FFx-2. I got about halfway through the game before I realized I MISSED two of the FInal Spheres, which pretty much made the rest of the game EXTREMELY impossible. Not to mention, the game required a certain degree of grinding to beat bosses as say, Shiva at the beginning of part 5. When a game FORCES you to grind, I lose interest. SOmetimes I just wanna casually coast through a story. That's why I liked Legend Of Legaia and Legend Of Dragoon so much, the way their EXP system worked grinding was surprisingly hard to accomplish, and it kept the game mellow and story-driven.
