2. First to 3 or when the contest ends (June 1st) wins.

4. Votes must be valid.

5. Winners gets a point in the leaderboard, and gets a like from the opponent.

6. The goal is to make a Normal Monster into an effect monster. You are allowed to make it an Extra Deck monster if you wish.

 

Card A:

When this card is Normal Summoned: You can target 1 Fish-Type monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target, and if you do, banish 1 Fish-Type monster in your hand, OR Special Summon 1 Fish-Type monster from your hand, and if you do, banish that target. This card cannot be used for an Xyz Summon, except for the Xyz Summon of a WATER monster. While this card is attached to a WATER Xyz Monster, it gains this effect.
   When that monster attacks, or is attacked: You can detach 1 Xyz Material; that monster is unaffected by other card effects until the end of the Damage Step, also it gains 200 ATK for each Fish-Type monster you control.

Card B:

You can Special Summon this card, (from your hand), by banishing 3 Spell Cards in your Graveyard  OR by removing 7 Spell Counters from any face up card or cards you control. You can only control 1 face-up "Dark Magician." If this card would be destroyed, you can destroy a face-up "Dark Magician Girl" you control instead. Each time a Spell Card is activated: Place 1 Spell Counter on this card (max. 3). Once per turn, you can remove 3 Spell Counters from this card to destroy 1 Spell or Trap card on the field.

Card B feels outclassed by Breaker and the conditions are rather silly for what you get. Card A does support admittedly well. Plus, originality score.

Dark Magician is too slow and supports Prophecies too much. Space Mambo is nice, it's balanced into a +0 and it supports Banisharks, which is cool. Vote to Space Mambo 2.0.

Card A:

Well I definitely never would have thought someone would be using Space Mambo as their choice for this. Regardless, I like the choice. It shows creativity and originality, which are big for me as a card maker. Its effect obviously supports Banisharks, and obviously adds speed to the duel.

 

Card B:

Dark Magician? I feel like this is a bit overdone and overappreciated. Don't get me wrong, I like Dark Magician, but making an effect for him is like adding expired milk to cereal. Anyway, pass the sentimentality of it all, the effect is much too slow. The S/T card destruction is outclassed by Breaker, MST, and Heavy Storm. It seems like you were trying too hard with this one.

3-0 I win. I honestly thought I might have made it a bit powerful, a 1700 beater plus it can SS ANY Fish monster, but in the end, people were more interested in that one, and so it won. Thanks for the game John, and I like your card myself btw.

Actually, "fin" just means "end". What you are looking for is "fini" which is "ended".
