Shradow
Every superhero has inconsistencies (Superman is a huge one about this, in fact). In battling scenarios, no one uses the weakest scenarios them for their own side, so using it to try and argue against the other using them is just silly. vla1ne
Tbh superman and the hulk are probably 2 of the most inconsistent characters ever to grace a comic panel. but even then, some of their powers are inconsistent within even the exact same comic series. the only comic character I can think of more underconsistent is the Martian manhunter. One site I go to that talks about superheroes actually lists their greatest feats of strength, as well as their weakest, most humiliating moments. I'm not saying choose the weakest or the strongest or one that will clearly be beaten by x character, just choose one superman that is well rounded without going over the top. (over the top would be like holding a black hole)

vla1ne
not to impose physics or anything, but if superman gets his power from yellow suns, wouldn't it be literally impossible for him to hold a black hole, or anything with similar properties to one? they absorb all light, so superman would literally have no chance of escaping one due to never again being able to properly recharge on solar rays, not to mention the strain from being inside one would tear him to shreds due to the immense gravity. That also means that anybody who can create literal black holes (that work according to the laws of physics -ignoring how they're initially created) would beat superman. on that note, is there anybody who can actually make one? Shradow
From the look of it I don't think it had actually become a full-on black hole before Superman grabbed it.

A rather small one but one none the less. I'm not sure it fully developed either, but if it did, then this would literally be the Most inconsistent panel in the history of superman, even that galaxy wiping sneeze does not compare to a fully matured black hole no matter how small. the core of a black hole not only has infinite mass, meaning infinite energy (in theory, nobody has ever actually been inside one) outside of any black hole is (in theory)3 layers; 1) the layer that is the most noticeable to humans, this one is essentially the layer that cloaks the entire black hole, it blocks out the actions of the other 2 layers 2)the collision layer where matter inside the black hole comes into contact with the matter entering, causing explosions billions of times stronger than any sun 3) the inner layer, nobody knows what happens here, but it's pretty much agreed to be the most powerful phenomena in the universe. I doubt superman could crush it. in fact compressing a Black hole (even a potential one) is about the dumbest idea you could ever have, that increases the odds of it turning into a fully fledged black hole. Well, I'v done a bit of research and all I'v found was that this dust particle sized black hole was said to have a gravitational force enough to destroy the solar system. Also, the size of a black hole does matter as the smaller a black hole is the faster it'll dissipate due to hawking radiation (though again even with that being said this black hole is already pretty inconsistent). It seems as well that superman was using some device in order for him to hold it back and I do stress hold it back as that's all he's doing. I'm not saying that superman should be able to even do ths much cause black holes are crazy. The only thing crazier would be him holding a super massive black hole and those are galaxy containers/destroyers. EDIT: Here's a Qoute from an artical about the black hole and superman holding it. This is from JLA #77. To elaborate on what precedes this, a being called Mnemon uses gravity to steal people's memories, because his creator wanted to accumulate the purest expressions of art and music from the memories of entire civilizations across the universe. So Mnemon exists inside a small device that encapsulates him and his black hole in a magnetic field designed by his creator to contain him as he traverses the universe to obtain art from people's minds. (That really is all I can say about the backstory of this event because the plot of this issue is a convoluted mess.) He arrives on the moon where John Stewart and the Atom find him. Atom shrinks down to discover the singularity obstructed inside the magnetic field. Mnemon utilizes gravity to steal the JLA's memories, but their memories are restored by the Atom and Superman wrecking part of the systems of the device that houses Mnemon. After this, Mnemon pierces the magnetic field containing him, and Superman tries to stop his escape. This is where he holds the black hole. He and Green Lantern travel to a wormhole where he throws Mnemon into the wormhole. Now, why this is not impressive: the black hole inside the magnetic containment field is, according to the Atom, about the size of a dust particle, and once Superman picks it up, he can barely withstand its gravity. Even when Green Lantern helps stabilize it, Superman still feels as if his hand could be ripped apart. They only manage to reach the wormhole they hurl it into by generating a magnetic field around the singularity to suppress its effects. The containment of this singularity also leaves me with some question about its actual power, but I will leave that aside. The point is, even with Stewart's aid, Superman is hurt enormously by a dust-sized, infinitesimal black hole.

TTR~
Well, I was on the fence about bringing this guy up, but Kumagawa Misogi from Medaka Box Because of his two crucial abilities
All Fiction : "allows him to deny aspects of reality; to make anything 'nothing'... His ability can even reverse his own death as well as the death of others. He admits that he doesn't have full control of his power because, unless he's careful, the entire world would become nothing." He has shown to be able to erase any damage he receives and has erased other people from existence AND even erased the colors of the world. Book Maker : "When Book Maker is activated, the screw stretches to the length of a sword. When he stabs someone with the screw, it turns the target into a Minus by bringing that person to Kumagawa's level: body, spirit, technique, intellect, and talent; all fall to match Kumagawa."
source: http://medakabox.wikia.com/wiki/Misogi_Kumagawa I'm kinda skeptical if he could just erase Superman or the sun, but I thought it was an interesting thought. Even if he could hit Superman with his Book Maker, wouldn't the sun just power him back up? But that doesn't mean he gets his technique or intellect back. Aix
Bringing this topic back cuz that Thor topic was there. Could Accelerator beat Superman? His Reflection doesn't matter how strong or powerful something is, it would just fly off him. If Superman went full-power to attack him, he'd end up hurting himself. Yes. accelerators base reflecting ability doesn't need to know anything extra about an attack to deflect it (barring new forms of matter via kakine style). once it hits, it gets sent back automatically. The only exceptions that can affect him are non vector-based attacks (say for instance passive magic like Cendrillon's shoe field) and abilities that are above his concept level like Imagine Breaker or Aiwass's defense system. Superman has neither of those even after sundipping. and even his infinite mass punch can't break through due to it still being a vector based attack.
