Killing Superman

Hulk could actually fight Superman, just not kill him. He could always just beat him to near death.

Actually, the hulk can't beat superman in an all-out fight, due to his need to breathe if superman took the fight to space.

But actual Space Physics usually takes a back seat in Superman's comic fights for some reason, so you never know

Neither could he and the hulk, the fans shall find a way

You misunderstand.

Superman and the Hulk both are concrete objects, Madoka is essentially a concept (who, by the way, is still inferior to Sakura Kinomoto).

you never you never know, Wonder guard might be similar to accelerators abilities in the toaruverse, and just go completely around damage. and I happen to have obtained a spritomb with wonder guard, anything is possible with the powers of team rocket!! (and an action replay).

Accelerator has the same problem. You can't just assume he can redirect something so much more powerful than he has ever shown to, he also clearly has weaknesses, evidenced by the fact that he has been defeated before.

Everything that's beaten accelerator could kill superman without even blinking, the only exceptions are Kamijou Touma, who used imagine breaker, and that one Kihara(I can never remember his name), who fought him in a far weaker state than he used to be in.

accelerator's ability uses mathematical vector concepts to reflect attacks, as long as it has a vector, it is instantly reflected or can be manually reflected if he decides to target something. the time limit and non-vector attacks like cendrillions magic are is his only real weakness, and after he awakened, the time limit vanished. accelerators power is pretty much mathematically concept based, so unless superman can negate supernatural laws that use mathematical concepts, he loses the fight at first touch, hands-down

EDIT: and sakura is not at a universal power level, she's at the level of a star, or maybe a bit higher so she's far weaker than somebody whose power comes from an entire universe.

Yes Madoka is possibly only a universal concept by now, but if she came into existence, the power from a wish that created an entirely new reality would be at least on par with TTGL. if not more powerful, and we  know TTGL beats superman by far in terms of raw power.

Accelerator from Ben 10? lol that's cool.

from Toaru Majutsu no index,

His name is spelled XLR8, and he has XLR-ZERO chance of winning against Superman

Erase. Card.

Madoka's wish was pretty much a complete erase of history, the erase card might be beasty, but it's never rewrote an entire timeline. I'm not sure if her powers have any erasing abilities, but the general agreement on the end of the series is that if Madoka has any form of existence that can be fought against after her wish, it would be more than powerful enough to beat any weaker magics (and by weaker I mean anything used against her that can't break at least a galaxy spell. if the erase card can do that, then it might beat her,)

But since endgame Madoka is conceptual anyways, nobody knows any solid stats. And because she has no actual feats, fans go by the set power rule of the series, which is:

Innate potential X the misfortune potential of your wish = your base power levels.

So by multiplying her already amazingly high potential due to Homura, times The misfortune of erasing her very own existence, along with creating an all new reality. it's pretty much like dividing by zero in real time. her powers are at least reality on the warping levels of TTGL and the Anti-Spiral, and she might even give Tenchi and the Mazoku lords run for their money.

Allow me to enlighten you on how messed up CCS is...

Clow Reed's mere dying thought caused a mass warping of countless universes and their timelines.

Depending on who you ask, Sakura at the end of the series is either superior to Clow Reed (which would be horrifyingly powerful), or simply better at using the Clow Cards.

In either case, the Erase Card would be high multiversal in scope.

(And Tenchi blinks everyone else mentioned in this thread away.)

In that case, I concede defeat forever on that end. sakura is stronger than Madoka.

but just so you know, Demonbane and lord of nightmares were mentioned in this thread, so Tenchi loses to at least one, and possibly either draws, of ties with lord

EDIT: We can at least agree that at all of these people would curbstomp superman with ease,

It's pointless to debate really high level multiversals, so getting back on track,

Superman's tremendous speed advantage towards most of fiction makes him very hard to defeat, even with hax abilities. The "weakest" person I've seen in this thread who could legitmately beat Superman (i.e. not needing to surprise him with some hax power that's all speculation, and actually battle him) is the Hulk, but like Superman, Hulk has a lot of versions which puts him up in the air.

The Marvel Celestials etc. are stronger as well, but still Superman is and will remain one of the most overpowered heroes of all time -  you can blame it on writers' inconsistencies and probable lack of knowledge on the scale of space. Stuff like...

is absurd.

I grew up with Justice League, and I have to say I prefer Superman there, he's still pretty much above most of the team, but he's not an all powerful cosmic force.

Pretty much. the earliest superman was pretty much a result of not knowing the scale of the universe. Superman himself is so inconsistent that his power is up in the air for almost every different incarnation of the comics/ videos. There's supposed to be a planet of people just like him, yet somehow he's still so OP'd that even his own people have trouble beating him in most of the comics/ movies where they come back.

The only people who'd beat the first superman are the people who can either warp reality, or can't be touched by anything by default.

Let's see:

Daedric Princes

... and any TES character that is near god-like status (Dagoth Ur, Vivec, Dragonborn, Nerevarine, etc.)

Putting jokes aside:

Edward Elric

Thor

Iron Man

Green Lantern (Mayhaps)

Sam Gideon with his ARS (from the game Vanquish)

That's all I think of. I had a whole lot more in my head, but they all decided to go away.

Iron man can't handle Hulk by himself.

Isn' t the Hulkbuster a thing? He built a suit specifically for fighting the Hulk, as Tony Stark has fought the Hulk more than any other character (last I checked), so surely it allows him to do just that. I haven't read the comics involving it, but I'd expect it to, given the name and purpose.

And upon doing some reading, during its maiden run the Hulkbuster suit was able to hold its own in sustained physical combat with the Hulk, and the Hulkbuster II was entirely capable of taking on the Avengers.

Which makes the name questionable...

Actually he beat him once... With help from others.
