Creativity in a card must come from your heart. Your task is to create a card that represents who you are as a cardmaker (or as a person if you are brave enough).

HeavyHeartedMartyr.png

This card can only be Equipped to a DARK or LIGHT attribute monster. The equipped Monster gains 500 ATK for every one of your Banished Monsters. When the equipped monster battles; you can unequip this card and remove it from play: your opponents monster lose ATK equal to the ATK of the Equipped monster until the End Phase.
Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. You can Special Summon this card from your hand by banishing 1 Xyz Monster in either player's Graveyard. If a face-up Xyz Monster is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon this card from your Graveyard. If this card attacks or is attacked by an Xyz Monster: This card gains 1000 ATK, during the Damage Step only. If this card is destroyed by an opponent's card effect and sent to the Graveyard: You can banish it; look at your opponent's Extra Deck and banish 1 Xyz Monster in it. You can only Summon 1 "Shatter Star Knight" per turn.

I vote for B.

Does A remove the monster or the equip spell?

Either ways, the boost is too high, and its 2nd effect would be overlooked...

Splashable and versatile, but it has a somewhat slow start in decks that run it not to support their Xyzs but to counter Xyzs, fair i guess. Though looking at an opponent extra is bad...

I also feel that A's increase is too much. Without any setbacks and appeals to two attributes that love to banish…

Vote for Card B.

Thank you both for voting!

There is a certain element to both cards which made me hate them both equally. So this is more of a "Which card I hate less" kind of deal.

For card A, the big problem is Elemental Dragons. I mean, go get Big Eye/REDMD or something and then you basically turned a several card OTK into a less than several cards OTK. Not only E-Drags, there's a lot of DARK/LIGHT sets that can make a lot of banishes.

For card B, the problem is that it's anti-Xyz support. If you know me, you probably know that 70% of the cards I make is an Xyz so naturally, I hate anti-Xyz even though I've done them once. Yeah. It just punishes your opponent for using Xyzs so much it's just... unsettling. The fact that it has 1900 ATK makes even more unsettling.

Like I said, this is a choice between personal hatred and actual worry for the metagame. But, seeing as the term says the cards are to be made from the heart and frankly, I know neither of you guys well enough, I'll go with card... wait for it... B. It's just a bit safer had it been released. I mean, it punishes Xyz users insanely. However, it is more balanced, in a way or another.
