Astro Dude
Teen Titans are back: Matee is once again Robin, Twilight Sparkle is Raven again, Princess Bubblegum is Starfire, Michelangelo is Beast Boy and Aqualad is Cyborg. They do stuff as normal teens. Raven's hair is pitch-black now. Episode 1 is they search for a BLT. Discuss.
Just Crouton
This show is friggin' awful. Compared to the original series, this show is an abortion. What's worse is that Young Justice, arguably the best comic book-based cartoon since Justice League Unlimited was cancelled for crap like this. For shame, DC and Cartoon Network, for shame. Shradow
I think the show is plenty funny, and I never really liked Young Justice, so I'm liking it. Now, for a more important question: Do you love pie?

Fusion X. Denver
I like it. It's not as funny as I'd hoped, but it's not bad either. Some lines make me cringe, others make me smile. It's basically a mixed bag for me and I'm interested in it enough to watch it every week. It sure does make me miss the original show though. Wizarus
It doesn't seem like a bad show, just not comparable to the original. Young Justice being cancelled for it is probably why I can't really enjoy this as much though.
Astro Dude
Come on, Though Young Justice ended with a cliffhanger it was way too serious for its own good. Teen Titans go for the win. Plus it was kinda funny having Trigon be a sitcom dad, Beast Boy be a lawyer for 15 seconds, and Starfire making a prom dress by taking a sheet of cloth, hammer it, saw it, pour milk on it and pop it in an oven for 5 seconds. Oh and Cyborg having Brainiac's body, a female body and Voltron's right leg was priceless too.
Phantom Roxas
WHO DARE PRAISE TEEN TITANS GO! IN MY PRESENCE?Okay, I get it, there are people who grew up with the Teen Titans comics who looked at the original show and said the things many of the people are saying about this show, but even if you did treat this as it's own thing, the amount of funny jokes are sparse, and aren't enough to make up for the annoying jokes. I won't deny that Teen Titans had its moments of comedy, but it at least managed to offset that with likable characters, genuine character development, and good stories. I'll admit to only having seen the first episode, but that was quite enough.I'm not going to defend Young Justice much. I don't think taking itself too seriously can be a problem, it's only a bad thing if actively hinders the story, or if it decides to inject moments of humor for the sake of Whedonesque quippage that result in offsetting the tone.tl;dr: This show can die. Fusion X. Denver
Says the guy who has an avatar of Fletchling with a Robin mask. How does that undermine anything he said? He's perfectly entitled to his opinion, and honestly there are a lot of other people who feel the same way. And for the record, that Fletchling picture he showed was a hit. Shradow
Says the guy who has an avatar of Fletchling with a Robin mask. Hey, it's not like I agree with him, but take your ad hominem elsewhere.
Phantom Roxas
Says the guy who has an avatar of Fletchling with a Robin mask.…Doesn't that just prove that I would be offended by this show's portrayal of Robin, and think that Robin!Fletchling is adorable? To illustrate why I think the faults with this show can be implied without citing the differences to the original, Robin is a massive, unlikable jerk. Toffee.
See, heres the main issue why people went bananas over this~Teen Titans has always been more for the action/story, rather then the comedy. In fact, the humorous moments were just a bonus and/or played in a manner similar to Soul Eater, in the sense that said moments were good at tension breaking, just to set the mood for things further on.Go, on the other hand, did this backwards. That's why it caused some issues, because it was such a drastic change among the series itself. So while Go can never be as overly amazing as the older series, this one in general goes for a different approach; Everything is lighthearted and everyone is comic relief.Yes, even I can see the flaws behind the show, but I'm willing to see how far it goes.(Plus, I'm a sucker for little references/nods to other things, and I get a lot of the humor)Also, as far as Robin goes-It's more or less just a weird gag about him being the only serious character on the show, and they throw him into more awkward moments for the hell of it.....Although, the fangirls chasing him was pretty funny. Fusion X. Denver
(Plus, I'm a sucker for little references/nods to other things, and I get a lot of the humor) That's one of the things I like that the old show didn't have; more references to DC continuity. Especially with Robin's connection to Batman. Then there's the subtle stuff.
Toffee.
Then there's the subtle stuff-Cyborg had Brainiac's body, and one of Voltron's legs in his closet. Also Speedy might be an in-joke with the older CN series, on how Speedy was, more or less, a clone of Robin. Astro Dude
I can't believe Cyborg had Yellow Lion, the right leg of Voltron. And Cyborg and BB needed lipo after their clone-straveganza. Hilarious.
Phantom Roxas
Isn't Speedy a Robin clone just because he's the sidekick for Green Arrow, who a lot of people say is like Batman with a bow? A shame they couldn't get Mike Erwin back. Either that or they didn't try just so they can make the joke about them having the same voice.
Toffee.
so they can make the joke about them having the same voice.I think that was the point.
Astro Dude
Wait till tonight's episode. Also 2 things you should learn: 1. Never challenge Raven to a staring contest. 2. Never challenge Starfire to a hot dog eating contest. Personally, I think it's amazing she can eat so much and not get sick, nor get bloated. And don't forget, though digital, 2-d animation is a dying breed well except for anime.
