The hardest part I feel will be picking team leaders. What way can we actually come up with to get the team leaders  to be chosen?

The most active?

The best participants in showcase?

The best reviewers?

Well first we would decide which of us actually want the position, and then from there we'd probably just vote in two leaders out of a couple candidates.

I'll be happy to take the position of a Team Leader if no one else will.

Update:

 

• I can in fact create forums with my extended power in the AdminCP.
• The issue however is that I can't actually create the member groups that allocate certain members and allow them access into their respective team.
• The only person who can do this is Hatcher, who has not been online in two weeks.
• Rinne hinted at having administrative access prior, however I've no idea if he was given the same amount as myself or more.
• As it stands, there's nothing I can do besides create barren forums.

What we can do for the time being:

 

• There will indefinitely be two teams to begin with, that much is certain.
• We need two team leaders and a way in which we elect those members.
• Once we've got two leaders we're satisfied with, they'll pick a name, and create an application thread in this section.
• Members however will still probably be allocated to their respective team based on what allows for the most diversity, so as not to have all of the most skilled artists in one team and allow for competition to be fair.

Honestly, if this is going to prove to be difficult I'll just lead one team and pick someone else to lead the other. This is basically the only road block as of now.

Now I think the road block comes to allocating the members. It's sort of counter-intuitive to do applications, seeing as, depending on a variety of factors, the outcome could be lopsided skill wise.

Surely we could allocate team members between us? But then surely people might then complain that they didn't have the right to choose.

I could care less if people started bitching about being put on teams. Seriously, it's a Yugioh forum. On the other hand, honestly, I could care less if the teams are stacked and uneven. But it seems most logical to have it random and even; w/o the "friendship factor" of having everyone flock to their buddies' team, I think a lot more realistic criticism can be dealt within the teams.

 

But if it's that big of an issue, find a way to make teams nonpermanent, trade members, idk. We can't please everyone.

There's not massive amounts of us, and we all specialise in pretty different things, so I say it's quite easy to get two varied, balanced teams. Regarding process, I feel that the two team leaders should discuss it between themselves. I wouldn't mind at all which team I get picked on.

I'd love to get this started. But I wonder whats going to come of Ken. He's a special case, as he is the best one the website. I think he should be able to chose his team or be a team leader on his own. So members are not fighting over him. Because I know he'd be a great asset to any team and it would definitely help in competitions. And also I think we should decide the teams, THEN decide the names of the teams. By letting the members and the team leaders decide everyone will be happy. It would bring everyone closer and there wouldn't be any arguements about little things like a team name from people.

 I personally think this would be the best senario. I think you two are the most qualified.

That being said, we have to gather every member's artworks and observe whom acquire the same level of skill so that they'd be in different teams.

It is a hassel, but that would be the only way.

It doesn't seem /too/ much of a hassle. Definitely manageable,and probably worth it in the long run. I do imagine that Ken and Night as team leaders is the most suitable thing to do, just for the logistics of it.

Would a brand new piece be required, or older pieces be fine?

Preferably brand new but older should suffice as well.

Not precisely. The important thing right now is to see where everyone's at in skill level.

The forums for each team are both setup and ready to be used, as are their respective member groups. Everything forum-side is complete, all that's left is to allocate each member into a team. To make it easy, I'll lead a team and Alee's got the other, I'd rather have put up a poll to decide this but seeing as though we've already spent enough time merely setting everything up, I'd honestly rather just get started. Anyone who actually wants to be leader will be allowed to create a third team somewhere down the line after everything is said and done because the goal was never to merely have just two teams. 

 

Now for member allocation, idea's?

Hey I'm not going to be home until the 8th so youre just going to have to use my older stuff until then.
