Jord200
... Are Cain and Abel not common knowledge? I thought it was one of the most well known lores to non-Islamic/Jewish/Christians. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cain_and_Abel True, but Black, think about it. Konami makes name changes just to make them. Remember Burning Knuckles? Lead Blow in particular?
Blake
True, but Black, think about it. Konami makes name changes just to make them. Remember Burning Knuckles? Lead Blow in particular? Tell me more about how some "Concerned Parent" wasn't going to bitch about the word "Blow" being used? I mean, they changed Counterblow, too, so they're trying to avoid someone accusing them of innuendos. And this changes nothing about the OCG names of Cain and Abel. EmpoleMew
The Number choices aren't even creative. They're just the same Numbers switched around.

I didn't even know what Yokes were. Lead Boxxing Shorts..... Plus I wasn't talking about their OCG names, I meant the TCG names. @EmpoleMew Got me there. Blake
Also, just gonna make a point because I missed that line: 13 is the unlucky number. 31 probably has links with the Trinity (3 in 1), as Abel was considered a righteous man, whereas Abel was a wicked man who was cast away. Huh. I thought someone had said that Yokes were Boxxing Shorts.... Well whatever. I will say this. Points for choosing meaninsg that may not come to mind right off the bat. IRL effects will be probably something like.... When this card is summoned, destroy all other face-up monsters you control. This card must attack is able. If this card battles *insert name here*, neither monster is destroyed. Your opponent takes damage equal to this monster's attack.
-Berserker-
They can use Cain and Abel if they used Bahamut and Leviathan.
Blake
They can use Cain and Abel if they used Bahamut and Leviathan. Not exactly. Cain and Abel are a lot more... blatantly "religious" figure. Bahamut/Behemoth and Leviathan, while Biblical in origin, are now just a way to describe a large beast (Bahamut somehow also has a dragon connotation attached) or large water creature. evilfusion
19 and 61 being reversed (upside down) was still creative because they had different effects. Volca was Fire and destroyed + burn. Freezadon is Water/Ice and supported Volcasaurus. Volca had 2500 ATK, Freezadon had 2500 DEF. 13 and 31 have identical, terrible effects.
Expelsword
I'm not about to play a card that tortures my opponent. Unless they main Exodia
