Hope it won't go typical-Whedon overboard though with the cute and bubbly chick beating up guys twice her size or the good guys cracking up some jokes in the face of the bad guys. And Gunn! Can't imagine how they would return Coulson after his death, but considering that we're talking about a universe with hammer-wielding gods and safely preserved 70-year old super soldiers, I won't try to dispute anything. However, it could have been a prudent move if they did kill him off and then show us the team coping with his death - that could have been an intriguing move on their part.
