Number 49: Fortune Tune

400 ATK / 900 DEF / LIGHT / Winged-Beast
2 Level 3 monsters
During each of your Standby Phases: Gain (300?) Life Points. This card cannot be targeted by card effects. If this face-up card would be destroyed, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card instead. When this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard: Target (1/2?) Level 3 monsters in your Graveyard; shuffle (them/it) into the Deck, and if you do, shuffle this card from your Graveyard into the Extra Deck. You can only use this effect of "Number 49: Fortune Tune" once per turn.

Not sure what to think.

Tour Guide will keep being annoying.

I can see it being a troll card, when your opponent uses stuff to get rid of it's materials, and it finally goes off thanks to an Icarus Attack afterwards.

I'm finding it hard to look at that image and not think of "A Regular Show".

I'd rather use Zenmaines.

Except it isn't blck and white and has different usages.

Not being able to be targeted in a format full of Breakthrough Skill is not a bad thing. It means that Dracossack, Big Eye, etc. can't do shit to it. What the hell do Blackship and Papill do to it?

In order TO do shit to it, you have to non-target or beat over it. It is, indeed, small, but it recycles the TGU used to make it, it potentially requires more play around than Zenmaines, and considering that Dark Hole is bad this format, there isn't that much non-targetting destruction going around in a 141 format.

Tiger King and Abyssgaios are the only worrisome things.

The stats make it so that pretty much anything can beat over it. The fact that it can't be targeted is cool, but it'd just get beaten over. A third of the time when I use Zenmaines, I crash it to get rid of problem cards. When space is tight, I'd rather run Zenmaines than this.

Also, I can't Scrap Dragon this thing.

It's not meant to be a problem solver. It's meant to be exactly what Zenmaines was supposed to be.

most things can beat over zenmaines after targetting it with something. fortune tune cant be baited into forcing a minus (i harp on this point a lot because thats BIG and has always been one of zenmaine's flaws) and its recycling power is far greater than the pop 2 youre gonna get from zenmaines, if that.
