So I saw this on a spoiler and thought "Holy fuck is this coming back to standard? o-O"

Then I realized it was spoilers for Modern Masters and was like "Oh ok that makes more sense"

Sadly I've only heard stories of this guy.

What're your thoughts?

Tarmogoyf - proving that a big creature for (1)(G) is still broken. In my experience of legacy, he's usually a 3/4 or 4/5 - creatures, lands, instants, and maybe sorceries, still very much played types in Modern - but for the other types:
• Artifact: if affinity didn't kill you for some reason, I guess? (Not a thing in Modern - they purposely made sure it wasn't a deck)
• Enchantment: if the opponent plays Pernicious Deed (in Legacy this is a case for at least one deck, not sure if Enchantments are run in Modern)
• Planeswalker: because Jace the Mind Sculptor is still ridiculous in Legacy and taking him down will pump Tarmogoyf.
• Tribal: I think Goblins might still use Tarfire and/or Warren Weirding. I still wouldn't count on facing Goblins.
