I remember, even when I was a noob and got the misprinted form, that the lack of a Summoning Condition struck me as absurdly overpowered because it could be Summoned with things like Big Wave, Small Wave (remember: noob days) and crush the opponent. Also, it contradicted how Vampire Genesis needed V-Lord, Darkness Dragon needed Red-Eyes, and Neo-Daedalus was blatantly an upgrade of Levia, but didn't need it.

 

Then I found out about the errata and understood.

Daedalus needs a Fusion, so you can copy it with Prisma, and summon this. You could still use Phantom of Chaos to copy name and effect, use effect and tribute for this and attack directly.

Noob days were the best days, Evil, so don't deny that ;)

Other then that, cards like Phantom of Chaos exist, if you really want to go that extra mile to use Neo-Daedalus several times per game.
