Frunk
Here is another card that I need help with, "A Sign From Odin". This card represents how the Vikings considered natural phenomenons to be signs; generally predictions and/or warnings from the god Odin. I want this card to somehow be a warning, but also in favour (marginally or not) of the Viking type monsters. I really don't know how to portray that, so here's where you come in, write an effect for this card; I would consider this alot harder to do that 'Guiltless', so the writer of winning effect will receive 50 points. Below is an incomplete picture of the card.Need to know anything about Odin to help you? Study up here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Odin
Administrators Falling Pizza Posted February 25, 2007 Administrators Report Share Posted February 25, 2007 "The effect of this card can only be activated when your opponent tribute summons a monster. You must also discard one card from your hand. Look at all face down spell and trap cards as well as face down monsters on your opponents side of the field (flip effects not activated), and look at your opponents hand. For that turn and the next turn only, all viking type monsters on your side of the field are immune to the effect of one monster, one trap, and one spell card of your choice from the cards you saw." Frunk
I love it! It fits perfectly, reading the effect, I think will change this into a Continuous Spell. The winner is Falling Pizza!

Danilus
Odin's Poetic Inspiration. Because Odin is the norse god of poetry and inspiration and its fitting that a sign from the god himself would stir the soul of a man making him inspired to do his duties. Frunk
Okay, we've made the turn and are now on the final straight, I need about 7 more spell and/or trap cards, these must obviously be related to Vikings, and if I like it, you will receive 30 points and one rep point from myself PER CARD. Get cracking, please just post these in writing form.

Death12328
I guess I could take a crack at this http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p297/Ice1Wizard/Viking_by_ricardoafranco.jpg Fierce WillQuickplay SpellTarget 1 Viking Type Monster, until the end of the turn the selected monster cannot be destroyed. You can discard 1 card from your hand to the graveyard to increase the selected monsters attack by 700 until end of turn, this effect can only be used once per a turn. http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p297/Ice1Wizard/valhalla_by_lazesummerstone.jpg Valhalla, Home Of The GodsField SpellDuring your Main Phase 1 you may pay 500 LP to special summon 1 Viking Type Monster in your graveyard to the field. A monster Special Summoned by this effect gains 300 attack and cannot be destroy by Spell cards until the end of your opponent's turn.
Frunk
Not bad, but with the first card, if it is a quick-play doesn't it go to the graveyard at the end of the turn, it says the effect can only be activated once per turn.
Frunk
Okay, Believe it or not, I have enough Spell and Traps, here is yet another challenge for you, write a good effect for the following card and choose it's attack and defence levels, the winner will receive 50 points and entires will remain open for exactly 25 hours and 15mins. 50 points will go to Death for his cards in the previous post, as I am not sure whether I will use them both yet. darkguy00000
This monster can only be Special Summoned by tributing three monsters on your side of the field, one of which must be a "Viking" type monster. This monsters' ATK is equal to the number of Viking monsters in your graveyard x 800. Once per turn, you may add one Equip Spell card from your deck to your hand instead of drawing. ATK/ ? DEK/ ?. Frunk
I like it, you're currently first! I like how you incorperated Viking type monsters and genrally the rest of the effect. Without even seeing any other effects, you are already a Serious Contender .
