Collaborative Shop Project

Pros: 

 

• We artists get our much needed practice and shake off the rust so that we can start producing art again.
• Members of the forum get quality graphics that would not otherwise be available.
• The work flow could be divided so as not to encumber anyone and allowing for artists to get back into creating art at their own pace.
• Cause and effect; If everyone starts producing art again to fulfill requests, the effect in turn is an increase in showcase activity.  

 

Cons:

 

• Could be hard to manage if not done correctly.
• Everything goes to shit the second one person gets lazy.
• It could potentially ruin the free market-system this sections adheres to.
• As a result of too much experience gained through this, artists achieve far greater skill than originally anticipated and thus flooding the showcase system with remarkable yet 'over-powered' art work.

i agree. this could have the potential to kickstart the shop section, which is great because right now there's only, realistically, two or three shops actually open for requests.

Regardless, this only works if a good number of artists join otherwise it doesn't work in full.

Meh of course I am in. Also the concept of other people getting "too good" is almost impossible, not only is no one perfect but people are always still willing to learn.

Another Pro will provoke new people such as myself more willing to learn and fill in shoes just in case one of these fine gentlemen leave.
