That's because your an idiot who completely missed my point. What I was SAYING was, I refuse to upgrade to the Xbox One due to compatibility reasons, comparing that to the PS2 and PS3 scenario. Your the one who decided to go make tons of excuses on Sony's behalf.

Well, I thought you meant that the PS3 was what you were wondering to upgrade too, since I thought that was what you meant, but since you didn't make it clear before now, I didn't know. Anyway, yes, nothing right now is a good reason to upgrade from 360 to One. There's about 359 reasons why. Oh, and I don't like you calling me an idiot.

Dumb ad hominem always makes me giggle to read. But seriously, being unable to play the older games is a huge turn-off for me in terms of getting the new console. It means I can't get something for my old one and I'd have the hassle of setting different consoles up every time I want to play a different game.

Since when do I care what you like and don't like? Maybe if you READ, you'd understand, jsut a FEW posts up, I was talking about the Xbox One not being backwards compatible. Do your homework before you decide to argue something and sound like a moron.

Done now.

Sorry, but you kept responding to me talking about the PS3, not the Xbox One. You're the one sounding like a moron right now.

Saw that video yesterday. I didn't get to see the rest of the conference, but that video proves that it really wouldn't be worth it.

Anyone who watched the reveal on their Xbox had the misfortune so that every time that one guy kept saying "Xbox, on", the Kinect would shut down the stream. Nice going, Microsoft. Even your own system isn't going to play the stream about its successor. What, is it jealous because it knows the One is going to replace it? Fat chance of that, considering how awful the system sounds.

Clearly voice commands are the wave of the future.

Backwards compatibility isn't the big issue for me when it comes to Xbox One. It's the lack of games overall. So much bull with all of this TV nonsense.

Xbox+one.+Dash+board+reveal+-+http+www.y

And Sony remembers too.

Score Count
PS: 4

Xbox: 1

EDIT: Crappy image not working xP

I can't find their logic behind it, for one thing. Erm...maybe they think including backwards compatibility would hold back the system in some way?

Also, is there or is there not a Halo TV series? Because at this point, I'm getting two different answers.

I'm so confused. ;_;

[spoiler=Also, I laughed way harder than I should have at this.]

The Xbox One is looking to be the victim of the often repeated jab mentioned about PS3 around its release. "It has no games" the Wii U suffered similar stigma due to a lack of big launch titles.

I'm trying to remain optimistic about the Xbox One, but after hearing all of this i'm just hoping the PS4 ends up the one standout among an otherwise lackluster lineup of next gen consoles.

See the thing is, even if the XO gets good games, they are very likely going to be mutiplatform. With the WiiU it might not have the most amazing line up atm, but when it does get its good games they will all be exclusive to the system and its always been my opinion that its the exclusive content that makes a system.

I very seriously hope that you are right. New LoZ, new Smash Bros, new Pikmin maybe?, C'mon Wii U. Here's hoping for ya!

Well, the main reason the Wii U is in its current state is that Nintendo held off the big 1st party games to give 3rd party companies a time to shine and they just never did anything with that.

there is a new pikman!! It looks amazing. But my money is on the PS4 right now.

It comes down to if the multiplatform games are on the Wii U are not. What makes the PS3 the best system from last gen is the fact that it has really good exclusive content as well as the multiplatform games. If the Wii U does get the multiplatform games than the difference between PS4 and Wii U will just be person preference.

I'm not a fan of the gimmick too much, but it's like a DS in a way, so it's not like they're thinking too much outside the box, so I can handle the Wii U if I had to, but really, I would much rather want a normal system that plays good games.

Thing is, the tablet aspect of the Wii U isn't focused on in that many games. NSMB WiiU for example just had it as a second screne so you could play the game without turning on the TV.
