Microsoft should just be grateful that the developers are willing to even make games for the system. Then again, I kind of want to see a desperate attempt from Ubisoft to convince me that Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag is totally awesome on X1.

Pirate ships controlled with the Kinect sensor using hand movements? Kill me now.

A new trailer of a game exclusive for the Xbox one as a launch title (and Xbox 360):

I am very unimpressed by this.

The funny thing is, although they made the retro reference, it still wouldn't look out of place on a PS1. Doesn't look like the most exciting launch title in history...

Unless they start making games that are not only epic, but exclusive to the Xbox One, it won't be worth the effort to get one. With everything that's wrong with the Xbox One, they'll at least need a ton of good exclusive games to make it remotely marketable.

Xbox must die.

The main thing that kind of stood out for me, personally, was Sunset Overdrive. However, given that it's from Insomniac, and the fact that Ted Price didn't so much as comment on its exclusivity, I'm certain that it's going to PlayStation.

I remember reading that if they don't say its exclusive assume it isn't.

What are "all the stops" though? I saw a few things, but things like KI and DR3 can only go so far.

If they are getting the games that should attract people (BK3 being an example), I think Microsoft is trying to turn things around. Granted they need to take care of the console more than the games atm.

Well what exclusives do we know them having right now? And yea, the issues with the system are much more pressing than what games the system offers.

Killer Instinct is a very good example. People are considering buying the console just because KI is back.

It's amazing how well Microsoft can manipulate people. Release a system with crappy limitations that nobody wants to buy? No problem! just put out a few good exclusives and everything's cool. Is it really worth it?

Obviously people will want to buy it and it's not really manipulation as people buy game consoles for games. The fact that you have really done nothing but slam the console, despite it now having some half-decent titles, is kinda silly. I'm not the biggest Microsoft fan either (PS4 all the way) but I can acknowledge that, from what was presented at E3, people will want the console because some of the games they showed were actually rather... you know, good!

I was never a fan of KI so I don't understand the appeal, but even so, it takes more than one game to sell a system.

Not to mention that people that hate the console, no matter how good the games, should never buy it. That is my problem, I actively want to XO is be a miserable failure. If people buy the system it will be you telling companies that what MS is doing is ok and no matter how much people will be up in arms about it, they will still get away with it.

That makes sense to me. I guess I need to at least give it a fair shot before I criticize it.
