Marvel Movies (Iron Man 3)

Just a reminder, since this movie has been released in the UK, please keep spoilers under the spoiler tags until Saturday at the latest, so enough people have time to see the movie when it's released in the states.

I'm excited for this, and it really does look to be the best Iron Man film, even though I was fine with the second one. I don't mind the idea of Rhodey becoming Iron Patriot, since it makes sense for the character.

Iron Man 2 gets way too much shit. It was good.

Not really, it was universally panned by both critics and fans. Jon Favreu(director of 1 and 2/also played Happy) himself that he felt  Iron Man felt flat because of all the rewrites Marvel did to include all the shield scenes.

Well, it wasn't as good as the first one, in no way. But I do like it and honestly think it's a pretty good film.

Just your opinion. The movie still is pretty forgettable but still better than Captain America.

As for IM3, I really, really like it. Compare to the previous instalment, it's the most comic-booky Iron Man movie. Ok with the humor because that's pretty much a Shane Black thing and I'm a comic book guy but I'm ok with what they did with The Mandarin, it was pretty clever actually. Never really thought that Marvel was THAT accurate and I hope this will shut up those that keep wanting the rights for x-men and spiderman movies back to marvel. The movie has its own flaws but it's really better than any phase 1 movies except Iron Man.

Captain America was actually a good movie... yeah, I don't get you guys at all.

THE TWIST WAS HILARIOUS, ROXAS. Just because the Mandarin wasn't the Mandarin, and the other Mandarin was bullshit Mandarin doesn't mean that the Mandarin not being the Mandarin was also bullshit because that Mandarin not being the Mandarin and the other Mandarin being a bullshit Mandarin was one of the coolest things they could have done with the Mandarin in this movie about the Mandarin.

It really shouldn't matter how they translate things from the comics to the big screen as long as the story and overall movie is good.

To say otherwise is to ask for bad things to happen.

I enjoyed Captain America but after watching it once on the theater, I don't feel like I need to watch it nor do I want to watch it again. Ranked Iron Man 2 slightly higher than it because of how rewatchable it is.

Agreed with pretty much what Agro said about The Mandarin, the character itself was really boring in the comics.
