Card of Safe Return

I don't understand how Sillva or Goldd needs CoSR' date=' it won't do anything.

Erm, believe me, they need it, in my experience in playing an Dark World Deck, you run out of an hand pretty fast and CoSR helps you get some cards

Srsly?

[Re: Goldd' date= Wu-Lord of Dark World] If "Goldd, Wu-Lord of Dark World" is discarded by your opponent's card effect, when his effect resolves, he is Special Summoned first, and then the second part of his effect resolves. So the opponent cannot activate "Bottomless Trap Hole" or "Torrential Tribute"; the timing is no longer correct. Also, you could not draw a card for the effect of "Card of Safe Return".

You bolded the wrong part. If Sillva and Goldd are discarded by your opponent's effects COSR doesn't activate. However, from my experience with Dark World, people tend to side out their hand disruption cards for Game 2. They can still be SS-ed and still give you a +1 if you activate Dealing and Lightning.

I play a lot of Dark World, and I assure you that COSR is basically a staple. You run 3, or you go home.

And has anyone countered the fact that COSR rewards you for overextending?

Of course it hasn't been countered. It's an obvious fact to any duelist, even terrible ones.

Also lol @ the guy who was talking about Magical Explosion.

Prove that banning DAD' date=' Explosion, and Dimension Fusion will not solve the problem.[/quote']

I never said that that would solve the problem. we were agreed on that.

Just because i didnt say i dont want explosion and Fusion banned, doesnt mean i dont want them banned.

If Magical Explosion and Dimension Fusion are banned, how on earth is Cyber Valley banworthy?

Magical Explosion does not deserve to be killed for one reason. It's easy to counter. In fact' date=' you can win the game with your opponent's own Magical Explosion if you're not stupid and side deck correctly.

[/quote']

Yeah, FTKs are easy to counter. What do you do, add 3 D.D. Crow and hop that you draw one in your opening hand?

There's a reason that DAD, DDT, and Explosion are the three top decks in this format, and it isn't that pros are bad at siding.

it's bad that they realesed Monster Reborn. now this card can be abused much more.

it isn't a good trade cause noobs can abuse MR and that isnt good' date=' at all.

[/quote']

CotH is more abusable, monster reborn brings back monster from any grave, but not on the battle phase of any player...

As long as DMoC is legal, DDT is still being played, or speed continues to have any influence whatsoever on the game, Monster Reborn will always be more abusable.

Bump for more arguments. Also, I decided that I would actually use my Table of Contents for once, as I was about to create a new topic.

If/When the Zombie World Structure Deck is released, Royal Impregnable Fortress will probably be banned before Card of Safe Return.

Also, I have officially changed my mind on this. It needs to be banned. Now. I previously supported keeping it unlimited due to its limited use in the competitive scene. However, as more and more cards that are abusable with it are released, it is imperative that this card be banned preemptively so as to stop future abuse before it starts.

Gigaplant.

That is all.

Disk Commander, Zombie Carrier, The Immortal Bushi, Angel Lift, Limit Reverse, Premature Burial, Monster Reborn, Book of Life, Vampire Lord, Curse of Vampire, Lots of others.

What do you mean by 'That is all'?

This card really needs a ban.

i don t see why it would be banned ether. it only gives a +1 <.<

When a +0 is good' date=' what do you think makes a +1?

I'm not saying I'm advocating the creation of cards that don't require more thought and skill, but I don't believe that a card should be ruled upon unless it's a problem.

i say ban it because my friend use's it in his deck and when he use's creator, and special crane or, use's kuraz like have two creator on the field draw a card for draw phase, summon kuraz draw a card, destroy kuraz draw a card, summon kuraz again draw a card, then destroy kuraz draw card, that is 5 card per turn when he beat me he had 8 cards left in his deck i had 30.
