The Warden
Okay, after reading that all it's definitely earned it's place in the Collection. Though, that reminds me: Are written Nuzlocke's popular at all?
Kazooie
If you mean like in a journal, then yeah people will read it. If you mean a fan fiction or story, if you can pull it off, they can do pretty well. I personally enjoy reading them.
The Warden
Good to know. I also added Darths & Droids to The Collection, just for the wonderful amounts of fridge logic and brick jokes it contains. Plus, "Jar Jar, you're a genius". The first time those words have ever been uttered, ever.
Shradow
I love it when things have a bit of comedy right in the midst of absolutely serious moments. Also, I've just now remembered, I think this is my favorite out of any webcomic strip.
Northern Sage
^I like Belkar too much for anything but the Sexy Shoeless God of War strip from OotS to be my favorite. And an addition: http://questionduck.smackjeeves.com/ It's just cute, but oh so cute.

The Warden
Welcome to the fold Blind. Now, we've had little to discuss as of late, so I think we should have a discussion on what it is that draws you to a webcomic in the first place. Might have been because of Calvin and Hobbes.
Mugendramon
Well I mostly go to comics on good review from friends. Sometimes the art drives me to it. Ads in webcomics I already frequent are also sometimes convincing and I've read a good few of those I've gotten off MSPA.
The Warden
Actually, for another sudden change of direction, I notice that so many webcomics I;ve read tend to dive right into Cerebus Syndrome at some point, for one reason or none. I just sometimes wonder if they really need too. I mean, sure, maybe the author gets tired of comedy, but do you always need Cerebus Syndrome in order to improve your work? Hell, one comics case of Cerebus Syndrome actually turned me off it.
Shradow
For me art style is definitely a big factor. Bleedman, who draws Grim Tales, Sugar Bits, Powerpuff Girls Doujinshi, and Skull Boy (though I don't read this one) has what is probably my favorite art style ever, which is why the former three are my favorite webcomics to read. Also, I completely forgot about Tiny Hippo. From the webcomic Poorly Drawn Lines, it's my favorite webcomic strip ever.
Mugendramon
To be honest, even if I DID read all of it; Grim Tales is what I imagine a cheap fanfiction would look like if it were made into a comic strip. Oh, wait.
Northern Sage
For me, storyline, characters and humor trumps artstyle. Even a webcomic with stick figures can do well if there is something interesting about it (See Order of the Stick, A Moment of Peace, xkcd), so the art is the cherry on top. In my opinion. Shradow
Don't get me wrong, art style isn't the only thing I care about (I'm one of those guys who puts graphics as one of the least important part of his video games, for instance). I guess his style just really jumps out at me for some reason.
Kazooie
For me, it's really the subject matter. After all, if I'm not interested in it, why should I bother reading it? After that it's the writing. If it's boring to read, I probably won't stick with it. Then the art really. All three are really important though, and if the art is bad enough, the other two might not be able to save it, and if it's slightly boring, maybe the art and subject can save it. Shradow
My goodness, I've forgotten about one of the greatest webcomics ever. DOUBLE K! Imagine, if you will, an 80's buddy cop show (think Starsky & Hutch, or Miami Vice), but with the cast of TTGL. Also, this is the manliest way to play chicken. Kamina's face is just so gleefully psychotic, I love it.
