the Seth Naoj thing never happened then, all right ladies, that means Seth, the egomaniacal monster that makes Grapha look like a kitten, is now currently single~

 

Well, Leah is apparently somewhat interested in every male in this RP, so I suppose that is a good thing.

 

Also, is anyone sure who's turn it is? I believe It's Joe's on the other duel, but in ours, is it about to be mine? To be honest it has been so long since my last turn I forget what my facedowns were.

The tournament has just begun, you haven't missed anything important, luckily your match hasn't begun, on the other hand there is a bit of a commotion going on outside if you want to see that, the second round may not even begin as I think we're about to get hit by the plot pretty hard.

Updates: Serene has replaced Naoj, and everyone has been added to the character sheet

 

@bearon no one, as of yet. and there wont be a tag duel for most of us in the future. the plot will get in the way of that. For now feel free to interact as you see fit.



MORE UPDATES: Edited Anton's bio slightly. As well, expect a guide on Exile Combat coming soon.

 

What is Exile Combat you ask? Why, its exactly what it sounds like: mortal combat between two exiles. Duelists assist their exiles by casting spell and trap cards to augment the exiles' abilities, and evolve them to higher forms by combining them with other monster cards.

 

That all i have for now, but expect more to come from me soon. Finals are over now, and I plan on becoming more active.

Name: Lacey Nive
Gender: Female

Physical description: Lacey looks a like a normal girl on the outside, well, what you can see of her anyway. She wears extremely bright colored sweatshirts, glasses, pants, shoes, and whatever else can come in an obnoxious neon color. She has a smile painted on her face to accompany the modest amounts of eyeliner and firetruck red lipstick she puts on to really bring out her features. Much like the rest of Lacey, her eyes are a bright blue and she is not afraid to show everyone how beautiful her face is. Her hair is usually in some ridiculous, unkempt fashion as she looks like she's three steps away from a beer goggles related paradise at any given moment, even if she hasn't touched a single drop of alcohol. Truly, you could tell that there was not something right with this girl.
 
Personality: READ THE MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION FIRST..... Good, still with me? As mentioned in the Misc. Info, young Lacey Nive is a Manic-Psychotic, who has completely lost her perception of reality; many times the things she sees is not what is actually occurring, and so she will have borderline violent reactions to when reality and her perception seems to cross. Concurrent with Mania, she is extremely energetic, and her moods are unusually potent. Rage is completely uncontrollable, and she will smile during the worst of times. Nobody quite knows how she got this way, but she will never be able to tell you; she won't even recognize you.
 
Misc. info/fun facts: Taken straight from her Keystone Mental profile:

  • WARNING:  Subject suffers from an incredibly dangerous mixture of Mania and Psychosis; Avoid contact at all means necessary. A completely lost cause for medicine; her perception of reality is completely irretrievable.
  • May show signs of attachment to people she has never met before due to relation to some she has met before. Past hallucinations include seeing several of the same person in one room; violent reactions have taken place.
  • Will go days without sleep if she is not monitored; if contact is necessary to the subject, make sure it is not when she has gotten no sleep.
 
EDIT: Lacey is being kept sane by Thought Ruler Archfiend, her exile. Thought Ruler Archfiend is by far the more dominant of the two, and he keeps her in check by threatening to take away her sanity and send her plunging back into psychosis if she does not meet his demands. Because of this, Lacey is on a very short leash. Her ideologies have been heavily affected by Archfiend's own, and that is more or less why she is evil. Even though she owns Axiex, he has bent Lacey into believing that she can not destroy him by destroying the card.
 
NOTE: I understand that this kind of character can and will lead to some pretty wordy, confusing posts. If you have any questions about what she is doing, or how to decipher some of the incredibly cryptic posts I will be making, feel free to leave the question in this here thread of pm me. I will be glad to answer.

Owner of card: Lacey Nive
Physical description: Axiex is the card itself; there are absolutely no differences whatsoever; he is the only noted exile to be matched to this card.
Personality: Axiex is pure evil, and he knows it, but he is also very crafty in his evil to make sure that he is not the first one to get burned, should things go sour. Upon being brought into this world, he found that the humans he were surrounded by were all too simple to satiate his extreme hunger for weak, emotional thoughts. That was, until he truly tapped into Lacey's mind. Truth be told, the extreme distortion her mind suffered was mildly frightening to him at first, until it finally satisfied his hunger for thoughts. He realized that Lacey's expansive, deluded mind was the perfect wealth of thoughts and emotion for him to be satisfied forever, and this would keep him alive. Upon realizing this, he immediately went to work on Lacey's mind to make her believe that he was the one in control, by causing the normal, healthy functioning parts of the brain to function better, and snap her of her mania-psychosis. The warping of her mind came to the point where Lacey no longer believed that her summoning the card was what caused him to come into this world, and that all that she was summoning was a hologram; destroying the card would not kill him, but not to worry; he would keep her sane so long as she did all of his bidding.

Serene's smile seemed to all most falter at the insulting price for her most valuable cards, seeing the boys Exile she noted it to be a warrior and he seemed to object to the card being bought. Serene got the general idea He wouldn't use it. "Honestly the lowball offer is Quite weak, but I refuse to sell or trade a card to some one who will Just sit them in some collection!" She said with surprising passion, In all honesty what she said was very hypocritical and could easily incite some response from the boy

(I'd like you to say here that shes a hypocrite for doing the same thing to her cards.)

 

"WHAT DID YOU SAY!? I love  my cards! I keep them in here to protect them!" All of a sudden Serene pulls out a deck and a duel disk forms around her arm a new lightweight model that allows for a hidden duel disc, and the suitcase zips up.and locks. "Let's duel and I'll show you" the crowd had never seen the devil this angry before. Her general aura seemed to scare them all, she was terrifying before and now......oh boy.....

lol, he wouldn't of said something like that, he would of assumed trading is how you make your living...

now I gotta figure out something that's insulting, but is something he might say. XD

They're what I do when I want to build something gimmicky and annoying.

 

Also, I would like to strongly encourage that those of you only playing one character to double up on an antagonist, simply because Zai and I playing four characters at once will likely get confusing and constrain our interaction.

 

On a separate note, it would seem that Twilight has gone completely MIA. He hasn't even logged on since the first of the month and well, this leads me to believe he may be out for an extended period of time or dipped out all together. For now, I will be assuming the role of Justice, Silent Swordsman Level 7, but if there is noone that wishes to claim him and play him as a character, he will likely be killed off in the coming plot points to keep away from having loose ends.

Also, just another announcement. My next post will be especially long, and will move the plot forward. Because of the preparation needed for it, and the fact that I'm moving out of my dorm room today, i may not be able to post until tomorrow. please bear with me until then.

Antagonist number 3, plus her exiles.

 

Name: Marrissa Aile

Gender: Female

Age: 19

Height: 5'5'

Race: Human

Deck(s): Harpie

Exile: Glathe (Dragunity Darkspear), Kyra Sunmana (Harpie Dancer)

Physical description: When one looks at Marissa the first thing they are likely to notice is how delicate she looks. She is quite thin, and has a very pale complexion. Her icy blue eyes and long blue hair give her a cold looking appearance. That said, she is quite beautiful, and isn't afraid to use this to her advantage. She tends to wear a short, green sun dress on most days, but if it is colder she will go with a sweater and yoga pants. Her duel disk is bright blue in color.

Personality: Despite her cold appearance, Marrissa seems friendly at first. However, she is in fact very cold hearted, and simply uses her good looks and friendly demeanor to manipulate people. She loves to toy with people's emotions, and often will take special time and care to gain someone's trust specifically so that she can hurt them emotionally for her own enjoyment. However, she genuinely cares for her exiles. She treats Glathe like her own child, and Krya is without a doubt her best friend. She would willingly give her life to protect them.

Misc. info/fun facts: Her cup size is 36 B. Marrissa is actually bisexual, although she is more attracted to women. Like many of Diabolos's underlings, she is an expert in exile combat.

 

 

Name: Glathe

Gender: Male

Age: 5

Height: 2' 4"

Race: Exile- Dragunity Darkspear

Exile type: Bound Exile

Owner of card: Marrissa Aile

Physical description: Glathe is a Dragunity Darkspear. He looks exactly like his card art.

Personality: Glathe is good hearted and naive. He trusts anyone and everyone, and wants nothing more than play and enjoy himself. He cannot speak, but communicates telepathically. He is quite young, however, so he is difficult to understand. Glathe thinks Marrissa is his mother, and refers to her as such. He will aggressively defend both Marrissa and Kyra, but is otherwise very docile. 

Misc. info/fun facts: Glathe was actually summoned while still within his egg, hence the mother-child relationship he and Marrissa share. Kyra is the one who named him. His beak is nearly unbreakable.

 

 

Name: Kyra Sunmana

Gender: Female

Age: 18

Height: 5' 9"

Race: Exile- Harpie Dancer

Exile type: Bound Exile

Owner of card: Marrissa Aile

Physical description: She looks exactly like her card art, except that she has a larger cup size and longer hair.

Personality: Kyra is cute and bubbly. She is always looking to enjoy herself in one way or another. Kyra is a bit self centered, and prefers to do her won thing most of the time. More often than not, however, Kyra finds herself helping Marrissa deal with her latest mission from Diabolos. She is an excellent assassin, and this, combined with Marrissa's deceptive nature and Glathe's sharp beak, make the trio very deadly.

Misc. info/fun facts: She likes to flirt with other exiles. Kyra is actually quite lonely. she doesn't like working for diabolos.
