Also, Hideyoshi, you were supposed to start your turn of the duel there, and since you didn't, we're kind of forced to wait. Could you be a doll and uhm... do that

To follow up on my OOC blurb inside of the RP, I'd like to once again apologize for some of the harsh criticism I've had for applications over the course of the RP, and as I mentioned, I know it may seem unfair but I'd like to outline some reasons why I'm taking so many rules to the t for you guys so we're all on the same field here:

 

  • The better applications are, the easier it is to keep you guys involved:
  1. Remember, Zai and I have a big cast to work with (Which we absolutely love, by the way) so if your apps are good and have a lot of deep areas for development, we can involve you in the plot
  2. Of course, Zai and I will always do our best to keep you involved in the plot, but some short comings get in the way of that
  • You may have noticed that not all characters are dueling at this point
  1. That's going to happen over the course of this RP; don't sweat it, we haven't forgotten you, and you will get involved, rest assured.
  • My post quality will become better once my workload dies down a bit
  1. Which is to be expected from people that are likely in school or have a job, such as myself
  2. But if your applications aren't up to snuff, we have no basis of information in which to say, "Just give him or her time, the posts will improve, no worries."
  • We want you to stick around!
  1. A solid application says that you really dig the concept, and are in it for the long haul.

TL;DR? I apologize for my post quality as of late (Trust me, I'm doing my best to develop plot and character suggestions to keep you guys at your A game while I don't have a character of my own to push it along!), but just stick around; this RP is gonna get real good real soon.

Name: J. Kujaku

Gender: M

Age: 27

Height: 186 CM

Race: Human

Deck(s): Changes decks multiple times a week. He cannot decide what deck to use and so he made a lot of them. He is most often seen with a DARK deck, though. 

Exile: Rin Himekaidou (Formerly). None (At the moment) 

Physical description:

J is a tall man with a physically well-built body hidden underneath the appearance of a businessman. He usually has his eyes closed (A la Brock from Pokemon), hiding his luminescent green eyes. His face has been described both as charming and creepy by those who met him. Children in particular seems to hate him, much to his dismay. His hairstyle is nothing special really. It's just a plain old slicked-back one. Even then, it's almost always hidden under his hat so it's not like you'll see his hair often.

 

J's usual attire consists of a black suit over a white undershirt with matching black pants. When he is outside of his office, he almost always wears a long black jacket reaching down his ankles. His jacket is adorned with gold buttons and gold cuff links. The jacket is often unbuttoned, but he still buttons it during formal meetings. He usually wears a short black necktie barely the length of a normal necktie. His other trademark style is his hat which he wears everywhere. Formal meetings, field trips, you name it. His black fedora is always there with him, shadowing his closed eyes. 

 

Personality: J's personality is seemingly that of a lazy, but still charming, average guy. He's loved by his colleagues and subordinates for being refreshing and "not having a stick up his a**". He is happy-go-lucky, but still serious enough on the current situation. He seems lazy, but is actually really devoted to his job as head of the MHD's Intelligence department. He's honest, calm and humble. Overall, he just seems like the perfect guy. A bit... Gary Stu, perhaps. However, this personality of his is actually a facade meant to hide his true self:  a psychotic mastermind who likes to torture Exiles. 

 

Well, maybe the psychotic part is a little harsh. But still, when no-one is around, he's secretly very discriminating on Exiles, to the point of abusing his former Bound Exile Rin. Although recently, stress has often make him lash out to his subordinates the same manner he would to his former Bound Exiles. He's also not above killing to achieve his purpose, although he claims he doesn't like doing so. The reason he joined CONSNT is to kill all remaining Exiles, since he believes that they are solely responsible for the Catalyst event that took away his, well, everything, really. Of course, he may not look like it from the outside. Hell, a lot of the people in CONSNT think he's a nice guy. He thinks CONSNT is a good way to eradicate Exiles and what better place to start than the one closest with Exiles, the Monster Hunter Division. And now that he's newly been promoted as head of MHD's Intelligence department, he can finally begin his long awaited dream. 

 

Misc. info/fun facts: "J" is obviously a fake name. Nobody in CONSNT safe for a few high-ranking officials know what his true name is. He prefers to go by that name because it has a nice ring to it. He actually has quite a few Bound Exiles in the past. All of which share the same fate of complete destruction safe for Rin, whose card was lost in a certain incident not too long ago. Despite not looking like it, he's actually a fairly good hand-to-hand combatant. He has a black belt in Karate and at least some knowledge in basic take down techniques.

Not bad, but a couple of things concerned me about your application:

You're going to have to document every time the deck is changed, just letting you know, so that may not be your best choice.

Not sure how much I like that just yet... I'll talk it over with Zai and get you an answer but he might just have to be a high ranking official or something at the most because CONSNT isn't really evil.

its still my turn. And while I'm here, I'd just like to give you all a few updates...

 

First, Its finals week for me here at school, so for the next few days, I'm not going to be very active. I'm still going to try and post whenever I get a free minute, but I may not be on here as frequently.

 

Second, I know that not all of your characters are actively involved in a duel at this point, but, like my awesome co-gm already stated, we will try our best to keep everyone involved. The plot hasn't even really begun yet, so it may seem like the rp is dragging a little at the moment. Trust me, things are moving behind the scenes (both in-story, and right here at my very own keyboard, where I'm at the moment working on ideas for our plot.)

 

Third, I'd like to thank all of you for applying. I absolutely love how large our cast has gotten. I'd especially like to thank my partner in crime here for being such an awesome co-gm. I don't think I could have gotten this off of the ground without him.

It may seem like the rp has no real direction at this point, and that there is no plot. If you have this perception, that's good. It means we've fooled you.

 

In reality, I have a definite direction for the first story arc of the rp. It will have a name, (when we come up with one awesome enough to go in the subtitle, anyway) and some of you may have an idea as to what may occur. Either way, it will begin very soon. Within the next few days, some of you will be receiving PM's from me or Majoras containing knowledge that only your character knows. Some of these PMs will be sent to multiple players, in which case this knowledge will be exclusive to everyone in the conversation. Some of these messages will be in-character in the form of letters or other correspondences, while others will simply be one of us stating "character X knows this", or something like that. Feel free to use this knowledge any way you wish in the rp, but just be aware that it will have plot significance.
