Well, now that I know that I won't be stepping on anyone's toes for (possibly) sharing an
archetype, here goes:

Name: Sgt. Smith Davidson
Gender: Male
Age: 45
Height: 5'9"
Race: Human
Deck(s): 'Pure' Machina w/ various rank 4 Xyz. I can post the decklist if that's necessary.
Physical description: Smith Davidson is a strongly-built man of average height. His geying hair is still styled in a flat-top crew cut, and his years of Army experience show on his face. His browns eyes reflect the horrors he's seen on the battlefield, but his ordinary flat-lined facial expression occasinally twinges upwards at the corners of his mouth. He still can wear his combat fatigues and body armor, but usually wears more casual camoflage clothing when not directly in combat, with his dog tags on a chain around his neck. His Duel Disk is an older model, similar to the Battle City disk, but with more robust construction and bullet resistent materials.
Personality: As a retired Army sergeant, Sgt. Davidson is disiplined and strict to those meeting him for the first time. However, he is a pretty nice guy who has a good sense of right and wrong. He also likes game and is pretty competetive at them, but will notice if his oppoenent isn't having fun. He is genuinely caring towards those he considers friends and will protect them with ferocity, just as if they had been under his command. He refers to people by 'civillian' until he has truly warmed to them, and has a tendency to instinctively shout orders to strangers. However, he becomes grimly serious when Exiles are mentioned.
Misc. info/fun facts: As a witness to the cataclysm 20 years ago, he is distrustful of Exiles, but will treat them with respect. A reason he gives for this is that most of his family was on vacation in the country the cataclysm occurred in, and were killed in the aftemath. He petitioned to join the CONSNT monster hunting task forces several years after the cataclysm occurred, citing his military training and experience as reasons to recruit him dispite his relatively high age compared to other recruits.

Quite the opposite, actually. The reason I had Blarkma bump up is because his character would have been much too young for him to understand any adult concepts, which could have isolated him from other characters. The Sarge here would probably relate pretty well to my character, and so for that reason, I'm happy to accept you on to the RP.

@Simdoggy: Just checked up. Glow up bulb is still forbidden. That said, I'm sure how useful the plant engine is without it or spore. Neither are allowed in the rp atm, but I'm absolutely willing to discuss it with you further. Pm me about it.

 

Anyway, we're getting close to being able to start. Really looking forward to it.

Just an update here. I've added a rule, and as I stated, you will all be PMed about it as well as be able to view it in an update post. This is that update.

12: Due to the nature of the Exile phenomenon, any card played has the potential to summon a spirit. This applies to all duels that occur in this RP. If either I or Majoras decide that an Exile will be summoned, we will PM the players involved in the duel when the card is played, and one of us will RP as the exile when it apears.

Height: Average. Why is that even important?

Physical description: Short, brown, messy shonen protagonist hair which he never seems to bothered enough with it to be tidied.. Tama seems to be your typical Japanese teenager. He has slanted brown eyes and is really thin. Almost ridiculously so. Basically, he looks like a wimp and he knows it. His skin is slightly pale due to him spending most of his time inside. His usual, everyday attire consists of a black t-shirt underneath a checkered red-and-black jacket with dark blue jeans as pants with a matching black sneaker to complete. 

Personality: He's pretty bland by himself. There is nothing worth noting about him personality-wise. He's the kind of guy you would look at once and you'll forget about him soon enough. He is usually serious and polite, as opposed to his exile's jovial and fun persona. He likes peace and quiet and is often annoyed by his exile's loud nature. However, the two still care for each other.

Name: Rin Himekaidou

Gender: F

Age: Appears 15, but violently dismisses anyone who dares ask her true age. Hinted to be much older than her appearance. 

Height: Short 

Race: Exile 

Exile type: Bound

Owner: Hideyoshi Tamazu

Physical description: Rin looks mostly the same as the original Tour Guide from The Underworld. Lolita outfit, bright red hair, hat and all that. The differences between her and a normal TGU is pretty hard to spot, but it's there. For starters, her twin tails are slightly longer than normal and she doesn't wear any stockings nor does she carry the handbags her kind usually have. 

Personality: Mischievous and playful are two personalities that are attributed to Rin. She often sets up pranks towards her owner, much to his annoyance. Together, the two act as foil to each other. She is very humorous and tries to not take things seriously, often creating difficult situations for Tama. Despite her antics, she is still on good terms with Tama and the two has little to no problems with each other. She is also very friendly towards other exiles and humans, and since she appears to be completely human, most people that sees her only thinks of her a cosplayer.  

 

Misc. info/fun facts: She loves cake and other sweets, often causing trouble for Tama when her love for sweets cause her to steal from a sweets shop nearby. Her friendship with Tama is also hard to figure out. The two has nothing in common, but they still care deeply for each other. Rin does not speak telepathically with Tama, instead preferring to talk to him verbally. This, complete with the fact that she is constantly beside him, causes people to think they are a couple, much to their annoyance.

Basically, the two characters I made acts as a duo. I tried to make Tama as normal as possible so that his interactions with Rin can be more comedic. Oh, and favorite YGO card? Hmmm.... Winda or Caam, I guess.

wow, this is not only interesting but also very nostalgic with some of the Roleplayer's I haven't seen in years, I'd like to make an app, but, I see no way of becoming an antagonist...are they not available yet or is there some form of special screening that needs to be done before we can make an antagonist app?

I'd love to have you aboard.  It wouldn't be correct to say that antagonists aren't available yet, its just that I couldn't come up with any concepts for antagonists that I wanted to introduce into the plot from the get go. Only thing I could really come up with was a renegade Rogue exile of some sort. Honestly if you could help us out in that department it'd be awesome. Do you have any ideas?

It isn't necessary for you to change decks. I'm not that much of a stickler for format. As long as we know what the cards do for a fact, then its totally fine. As a rule of thumb, if they're playable on DN then they're good in my book. Feel free to switch your deck back if you want.

Physical description: Rather imposing, Seth is a very well structured man after long hours of training, not to say he's musclebound however as that would impede his movement, but he has well defined muscles in comparison to other members of CONSNT. He has short unkempt black hair which normally covers one of his eyes and leaves the other almost always glaring at someone. He normally wears a black  and dark grey striped shirt covered over bu a large overcoat where he houses his deck and extra deck while he also wears a pair f heavy looking cargo pants where he prefers to keep extra cards in case he ever needs to burn any of his exiled cards that appear suddenly. His most defining feature, like his sister is his eyes, which are an unnatural dark red in color, making it look like he has nothing but bloodlust at all times.
 

Personality: Seth isn't exactly the friendliest of members of CONSNT, while not outwardly cruel to anyone he seems to have little regards to anything but his mission, leaving him at odds with anyone he teams up with, and giving him a bad reputation with other hunters. He normally shows no emotion to anyone but his younger sister on rare occasions, preferring to only talk when dueling or when information needs to be transferred to a team mate, and usually will go off on his own to finish a mission before anyone else can even arrive as back-up, this attitude goes well with his "partner" Noxus who enjoys showing his superiority over other Exiles.
 

Misc. info/fun facts: Seth's favorite past time is martial arts, feeling that dueling doesn't help him become strong enough to fight Exile's on his own, his favorite color is black, a calming color that lets him feel at ease and his favorite food is tacos....no idea why[/spoiler]

Visitor Exile: Black Rose Dragon (Hasn't asked her name yet)
 

Physical description: Selina has extremely long black hair reaching her waist, about three braids going down which she adorns with a small black rose hairpin at all times. despite her happy demeanor she normally dresses in dark, almost Gothic clothing. A tight frilly black and purple corset which accentuates her rather large bust (E cup if anyone actually needs to know...I doubt it) and a short dress adorned with ribbons along the hem which reaches her knees. She has very different eyes from her brother, a light purple that seems to brighten when she's having fun, and a cute smile (though she prefers Leah's smile by far) which is almost constantly on her face.
 

Personality: Fun, Flirty and quirky, Selina is the exact opposite of her brother, enjoying the company of all the other members of CONSNT. Getting along is one of her main missions and tries to do so even with the exile's she hunts to help them home, in whatever way she can. She is also very protective of others before herself, normally making herself a target when on team missions, but she can handle herself pretty well as she every once in a while trains with her brother.
 

Misc. info/fun facts:  Seems to get attached to people and exiles quickly, nicknaming them seconds after meeting them, her favorite hobby is gardening and she loves her home made salads, but also peanut butter jelly and banana sandwiches. her favorite color is light green[/spoiler]

Physical description: Although he is short, Trent's fiery red Hair and angry expression make him stand out. His hair is kept short, but messy, and his eyes are pale blue. He usually wears a thick combat jacket and blue jeans, but can be seennin T-shirts on warmer days. he has a bit of a slouch.

Personality: Quick to anger, but not mean spiritied, Trent is surprisingly easy to get along with. He trusts easily. The first impression is usually what defines one's relationship with him. You are enemies if you anger him, and friends if you do not.

Misc. info/fun facts: He enjoys cinnamon candy. Trent can't swim.

Name: Jacqui Valencia

Gender: Female

Age: 23

Height: 5'11"

Race: Human

Deck(s): Plants (in particular focusses around the synchro plants engine as well as a few xyz summon capabilities)

Physical description: Jacqui has waist-length, smooth blonde hair, tied into a ponytail down her back with a black hairband.. She has blue eyes and her skin is smooth and fairly pale. Her usual outfit consists of blue, denim shorts, a pair of delicate little sandals, and a tight shirt that hugs against her b-cup breasts. Her duel disk is a small, black disk similar to the crash town duel disks, except with gold edging. Likewise, she also wears it in a holster on her hip rather than on her arm when not in use. Despite her seemingly fragile appearance, she's actually fairly tough, used to getting knocked around, and it's usually her own fault when it happens too, and she has one prominent scar that runs down her right cheekbone, the result of a Rogue Exile being summoned against her in a duel.

Personality: Jacqui is fairly cheerful and friendly most of the time, enjoying others company and playing around with them when she can. She's also a bit of a klutz, prone to running into things, knocking things over by accident, or just falling over occasionally. Despite that, she gets genuinely concerned when she accidentally runs into someone else, wanting to know if they're fine and if she can do anything to help. When she's duelling, she tends to lose some of that friendly persona, focussing only on what she can do to win the duel and blocking out all external distractions when she does. She's also quite a plant lover, befitting her choice of deck, and will get annoyed at and oppose anyone who wants to wipe out forests for wood.

Misc. info/fun facts: She doesn't own a duel runner, having never seen the point of one when she can just get around everywhere by walking or getting a lift from people she knows, as well as living in the capitol city of Gaea anyway. She also has started to know a Visitor Exile that has recently been appearing in front of her when she's summoned it's card, Black Rose Dragon, though usually it doesn't stick around long enough for her to really get a chance to talk to it or find out it's name. When a Rogue Exile appeared in front of her during a duel a few years back, it was that same Visitor Exile that protected her from it, preventing all damage aside from a small scar on her right cheekbone.

Jacqui and Selina will either have a good relationship, or a bad rivalry, I'm guessing towards the latter, but it'll be awkward for them to both have the Visitor Black Rose, also quite interesting that they're both so in tune to nature that they get the same Visitor Exile.

That's certainly true, it will be interesting. The bit about having the Visitor Black Rose was intentional anyway, and wasn't something I decided to add in until I saw your app either. And as for being friends or rivals, that will probably be decided from when they first meet. Also, since it's tag team duels in the first two rounds, unless you were planning on tag duelling with both your characters together, Jacqui's and Selina's decks would probably have good synergy to duel with.

Since these duels will start up once our characters are introduced to eachother, I'm going to be doing the Bracket. Since its going to be tag duels, was just wondering if anyone has any preferences as to who they'd like their characters to partner up with. If not it will all just be random.
