Yu-Gi-Oh! The Exiles OOC Thread {PG-13, Started, Accepting (Co-Hosted by Majoras)}

yes, he's around there. someone's going to need to take him out or he'll keep beefing up  cestus and killing people.

@Avaren: neither me or majoras have aproved your cards yet, and therefore you are not allowed to use them in character until we do. your post is non-canon and did not occur until you edit it accordingly.

Matt has a missing kid brother, and I wanna introduce him as a sort of vision that Matt is getting while he is being carried out. I wanna keep the idea of the brother in the story, but I don't know what to do with it. Thoughts?

Did he ever show them? I mean... he just showed pics as far as I saw ._.

Oh to be fair.... Hes not really broken any rules per say sept this... Hes been a bit slide but not rule breaking Dx Inb4justmyopinion

I'm talking about the actual rules of the RP, which are always on the front page and he has broken his fair share of rules that I could cite at any moment.

Hmm... Roll with it for now, the characters haven't really gotten on that level yet but, they will be soon so, it could be interesting. Zai and I can do our best to make sure that it comes into play somewhere along the lines.
Name: Marshal Scamper
Gender: Male
Age: 28
Height: 180cm
Race: Human
Deck: Eltanin Monster Mash
Exile: E.L.T.A.N.I.N.

Physical description: Marshal is typically well-dressed in a black formal suit. His short dark blonde hair is neatly combed to one side, and his small brown eyes stare sharply when he is addressed. His expressions are not very... prominent, showing at most a light eyebrow raise or a quick smirk. He fells sort of proud about his goatee, trimming it extensively. When not wearing formal clothing, he favors turtleneck sweaters and dark blue jeans. He also wears contacts, but I didn't tell you that.

Personality: Marshal grew up with a businesslike mindset force-fed onto him. Anything he does will have its personal advantages outweight any negative impact on his objectives. Morals are always debatable and are ultimately a secondary concern when it comes to getting what he wants. Occasional bursts of self-hate sometimes happen, but he's good enough a liar to convince those around him that he's trustworthy enough when in reality he will backstab anyone at a moment's notice. A vengeful nature is also true of him, and prodding too much into his personal schedule causes him to act very secretively. The only person he ever truly cared about wants nothing to do with him anymore, so deep down he's lonely and bitter as can be.

Misc. info/fun facts: Part of a semi-successful law firm, his cases are almost invariably either brilliantly won or completely lost as a result of poor moral appeal. His pastimes include stealing candy from children, scheming against humanity, and successfully denying everything about either. The only reason his exile hasn't blown up the world is that this is the only world in which he can watch Dr. House. He has no real idea where his Exile is, as it lingers in space. Their only contact is through its smaller vessels, which wander around the planet. In fact most people who have not witnessed Eltanin's Summon are unaware of its existence at all. He doesn't partake in Exile fighting, for he believes it is best to keep his ace in his sleeve. His Deck reflects his tendency to throw away those he doesn't need anymore to accomplish his grand design.

Name: Exothermic Light Transmigration And Nuclear Infusion Neocarrier (Hence dubbed ELTANIN)
Gender: (Female)
Age: 7
Height: Roughly 300m radius.
Race: Exile
Exile type: Bound
Owner of card: Marshal Scamper

Physical description: Identical to artwork.

Personality: ELTANIN in itself has no real personality. It is merely a transport spacecraft, and operates by command. However, it is commanded by an AI system with an intelligence unmatched by any human. Surprisingly enough, this AI refers to itself as "Carol" and likes to be talked down to. What the cause of this behavior is, be it programmed or glitched, is a mystery to Marshal. Each of the separate vessels has its own AI. Four personalities can be distinguished among the vessels: Choleric, Melancholic, Phlegmatic and Sanguine. Said AIs can be overrode by Carol during the ELTANIN's cannon firing sequence. In this instance, Carol acts as a hive mind and controls all vessels.

Misc. info/fun facts: Carol communicates with Marshal through an intercom in his ear. In wake of ELTANIN's monstrous size and dragon-esque appearance, media reporting its sightings have sometimes mistaken it for another apparition of the original catastrophic dragon. Upon Summon, ELTANIN does not appear on the field. Instead, its vessels do, depending on the amount of monsters used for its Summon. They will "lock on" the area, after which the ELTANIN blocks the sun to gather energy for its cannon. This cannon is able to bypass destruction Wards like they weren't even there (this reflects Cyber Eltanin's sending to the graveyard over destroying). After firing, ELTANIN will simply take off into space, leaving its vessels to represent its presence.
not gonna lie, no clue where anyone is at anymore, I think Selina is in arena 6 with Rin, Tama, Joe, Brione, and Vashkin, as far as I know the only enemies there are Marissa and her Trident I think, wait...uhm Though ruler archfiend too....with lacey

the other arena has Leah, Justice, Matt(unconscious) Zane, Astrum, Serene (towards the side), the sarge near Arthur. Villains are Arthur, Cestus, Anton and Klavusus, I know I'm missing some people but I'm unsure, J I have no clue, I think Noble wussed out, so, where do I hit next?

Chad NOPE-ing out of that situation was something I had planned for since the "He realized his mistake" post. The card he used was Fake Explosion, and although it saved his Exile, the damage that Unit 0-87-Alpha sustained is pretty severe, and so Chad's going to try to avoid Exile combat for a while.

And for something completely different, for Zaifire, how is scale addressed in Exile combat? Chad R. Noble's deck has access to several level 9 Synchros, so how should a No. 09 Sky Canopy Star - Dyson Sphere summon be handled if such a thing were ever to occur? The thing's at least the size of Earth.

This is what happens when you create a chaotic warfront in like three different locations tbh.

We have a big cast. We do what we can to keep it as fluid as possible.

Well obviously he has to be smaller than the world they're currently on. He can be big... larger than the other exiles by a considerable amount but, go with your gut on that one.

As finals week starts to wind down for everyone, we hope to get everything running a little more fluidly. Although if you have questions, you can always PM one of us.

I would refrain from summoning cards that large. It could get ugly....

as for where the heck everyone is..... thats a good question actually. I'm going to outline the stadium layout and where everyone is tomorrow, so that we all get a better picture.

Sorry i wasn't able to post anything today. getting settled back into my room on campus. I should be able to update tomorrow.

@Mugendramon: Not sure If either me or Maj told you that you were accepted yet, but you're in. I added you to the character sheet on the front page. Sorry about the wait.

EDIT: yes, I did. Haha.

EDIT2: So, since JZ is confused about the location of the cast, and it would be beneficial anyway for me to provide a better layout of the sports complex, here it is!
The Hydra complex is named so because it features nine large, multipurpose arenas. It was build 8 years ago as a political gesture by CONSNT. Mainly so that any potential threats could see that the government had the resources to do whatever it felt like. Of course, it made Gaea an even bigger target, but that's beside the point.

There are three entrances to the complex itself. Two are perpendicular to the main north-south road which the complex is located next to, and there is also a western entrance on the opposite side of the complex that leads to the outer edge of Gaea. Within the walls of the complex, there are numerous buildings: lounges, full-fledged restaurants, competitor dormitories, and of course the nine stadiums themselves. There are two ways to travel throughout the complex. The first is through above ground paths that dart across the otherwise green empty space within the complex. (The interior looks much like a park, actually) There are also underground tunnels that lead from one arena to the other, mostly used by competitors and staff.

In regards to where the cast is located, they are, currently, either in Stadium nine, stadium six, or between the two. Both stadiums are the closest to the road, and are the two stadiums closest to one another. Both are identical in design. Each one holds about the same number of spectators as your average NFL venue, and is equipped with a turbo duel track that surrounds a large green (stadium six is turf, while stadium nine is grass). This green can be used for all sports, as it can support basketball and hockey rinks as well as football, soccer, and baseball. For the tournament, large dueling platforms have been brought in. Both are about 12 feet off of the ground and square in shape. They are located on roughly the fifty yard line, and are equipped to broadcast jumbo-sized solid-vision holograms. (Bound exiles stay their normal size when summoned, however) Each stadium runs east to west, with the long sides facing north and south. Both stadiums have three main decks of seats, many of which have now collapsed either due to the fighting or exile attacks, and most of the entrances either do not exist anymore or have collapsed in on themselves.

Between the two stadiums, there are a few buildings and numerous paths linking them together. The largest of these is the lounge/food court that the rp started in. There are also three tunnels running between the two stadiums, and at least one tunnel running from each to the other seven stadiums.
EDIT3: So here is where everyone is at the moment:

Zane, Astrum, Leah, Justice, Matt, Arthur, Cestus, Anton, Kavulsus, The Sarge, and J are out on the green in Stadium nine. Kavulsus charged the platform twice and has leveled a good half of it, as well as made holes in uncountable portions of the stands, and is currently on the north side of the green. Anton is currently in the bleachers beating the tar out of frightened spectators somewhere. Cestus and Arthur are fighting Zane, Astrum, and Justice (and leah, but serenade is MIA) out on the green near the plaform. Cestus is winning. The Sarge and J are both attacking Arthur himself. Matt is unconscious and being carried by Zane.

James, Amren, Serene, Seth, and Fae are in a ground-floor waiting area in Stadium nine that has collapsed. Luckily, Serene has somehow managed to trigger the summon of polar god thor, who has made a hole in the ceiling for them all to climb out of. Seth had made his own way in to the area and was bartering with Serene for cards and...errr, other things...

Chad, his exile, and Seth are now fighting in between the two arenas, above ground.

Joe, Brione, Lacey, Axiex, Vashkin, Selina, Noxus, Marrissa, Glathe, Kyra, Jacqui, Tama, and Rin are currently in Stadium six. Joe and Brione are fighting Axiex and Lacey on what is left of the platform, but the fight has been interrupted by Noxus, who arrived at Seth's request to guard Selina. Jacqui and Selina are both being protected by Joe and Brione. On the green, Vashkin, Tama, and Rin are fighting against Marrissa, Kyra, and Glathe. J is on his way here, but is still in Stadium nine.
