Batman: Arkham Origins

Surprised that there wasn't already a topic on this.

As the title suggests, Arkham Origins is a prequel to Arkham Asylum. The catch is that it won't be made by the original developers. The main antagonist of the game will be Black Mask. A shame Deathstroke seems to just be one of several bosses. Oh well, hopefully Deathstroke's section just happens to be the best. There will also be a sequel, "Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate", which will be on the 3DS and the Vita, which I have even less faith in simply because it's a handheld tie-in to be big-budget game.

Yeah, so I guess we should expect Deathstroke to be one of the 8 different bosses in the game, as Black Mask had apparently hired 8 assassins to kill the bat.

 

We'll see who's important or not.

Tarantula

And because every game needs someone with this name: Mad Dog.

I'll get it, but not on day one, as it's not being developed by Rocksteady.  Gonna see if it's legit or not.

i only played a little bit of arkham city, but ill buy this one if prometheus is a boss...

Just found out who the writers are.

Now, I have reason to believe that Eric Holmes is a good writer based on what I've been told, but I've been hating Assassin's Creed so far (Although to be fair, I hear the first one is the worst of the ones that actually matter), so Dooma Wendschuh and Corey May give me very little faith in the narrative.

Oh, and Batman isn't going to be voiced by Kevin Conroy.

Now, depending on who voices Batman, I could forgive them not getting Conroy back, but the story will have to be pretty damn impressive to even come close to being as good as at least Arkham Asylum.
