Dragon Ball AF: Wrath of the Cosmos (idea)

Okay, I've had this idea for a long time (roughly 3 years) and I've been dying to write it out. Not sure when, but I'm imagining how the action will unfold.

 

DISCLAIMER: This idea is not canon to either of the Dragonball series. Any attempted connection to the canon show or manga is for background only and not meant to have any relevance or meaning to it.

 

Story:

 

Back when Broly, the legendary Super Saiyan, collapsed an entire galaxy, the galaxy was not entirely wiped from the universe. Instead lingered a mysterious cloud of energy that sat undetected by the Kais for dozens of years. This cloud of energy slowly moved throughout the galaxy, eventually reaching the Northern Quadrant.

 

Meanwhile, Syn Shenron was defeated on Earth and a period of peace took place. To settle their long-awaited rivalry match, Goku and Vegeta took off to a more remote part of the universe to have their colossal clash, leaving Goten, Pan, Trunks, and Gohan to protect Earth alongside Dende and Mr. Popo.

 

The peace was about to end, however, when the mysterious cloud drifted into the solar system, causing the balance of the sun's orbital system to break. The cloud eventually made contact with the Earth's atmosphere, generating a cosmic storm that summoned two massive sources of radioactive energy. These sources took the form of humanoid figures who mindlessly wandered the Earth, clueless and careless of their existence except for one goal: to combine with the other and generate the collapse of the universe.

That's the idea. Now, regarding who's gonna have the spotlight and what's gonna happen, I wanna know what would work best here. Any ideas?
