TF2 Weapons Poll Pt. 3 - Pyro

Just some TF2 polls to see what you guys think, this is the Pyro edition, look out for the others!

 

BTW I'm not adding skins of other weapons unless they actually add something.

E.g. - Rainblower or the Postal Pummeler

Basically what I'm saying is, it's just a way for the Pyro to save himself if he ends in the wrong area.
Similar to Soldier's Escape Plan, in the sense that it can be used as a means to escape.
Though, with the Crits, it also gives you the option to push back the other team. Because lets be honest, you would also run from a full-crits Pyro.

Ah ok! True dat. But I find airblasting invaluable, so I don't really use the Phlog that often.

I never really got in depth with Airblasting, but I can still see why it's viable.
Though, I tend to rely on my Scorch Shot more then my actual primary.... Heh...

I mean, with the Phlog, at least you have to choose when to OOMPH, but with the Backburner, you just hold it down and hope someone is facing you, also the ridiculous airblast cost is almost as bad as the Phlog's inability to airblast. You an use it to save your life but then you really have no ammo left.

Backburner critting when player facing away from you, not facing you. There is no skill in using MMMPH, but Backburner need flanking and ambushing. Backburner airblast cost is little problem if player is not braindead.

 

Plus, Phlog is just plain badness.

I never said that the Phlog was good, I personally think that the Stock Flamethrower and the Degreaser are the best, but the Backburner* is really awful.

Backburner only awful if player awful. Is viable in competing and good sidegrade to stock.

Gregor would like to laugh, but you being idiot is not humoring.

 

Gregor visit TF2 forums often, people like you called idiot/bad at Pyro/etc. by many others who know what they're talking about, who know much more than Gregor.

 

For one, Gregor have experience using Backburner in comp, make all the extinguishes and reflects and much burning. Is good weapon, good balance, if you cannot see then you are simply bad at game. (Though you did try to make comparing Backburner and Phlog, so is obvious, really.)

I'm not going to argue this anymore, this was an opinion poll, not a flame war between flamethrowers.
