How did Reiner escape from the Female Titan? From his position, it seemed kind of impossible for him to move his arms. And is it just me, or was there smoke coming from his face when he was running away with Armin? I mean, if it came from the Titan's hand, that's logical, but then wouldn't the smoke be all over his body?

It really seemed like his head was crushed, but I guess that was just messing with perspective. In that case, where did all that blood splatternig come from, since I don't think a cut-off thumb would give off that reaction?

Can somebody please explain this? ^_^;

You may be able to figure some stuff out with this episode. =3

Think about the whole thing again. From when it happens to the end of the episode. You're almost there. =P

Just gonna say this. When it showed the Titans face, did it look familiar? Like someone who maybe didn't join the others? *basically gave away the answer*

*sigh* Fine, fine, I get it. It's
Mikasa, right? -_-" That's why she didn't kill Armin and stuff.
You guys could at least cut down on the implications for us who don't really read the manga.

I'm not telling you anything, except to look into the episode for your answers. Also, now that I think about the pacing of the series, you might not get your answer this season.

For everyone else, please keep suggestive things in spoilers. We can start talking about it in 1 week.

Huge spoiler!.
Only for those who read the manga. It explains some things really good and the most part could be true.

meh, not really feeling it. Would also like it to not happen, personally.

Yeah, had to watch episodes 17 and 18 back to back cause of vacation.
But oh my gawd, I think I'm in love with that female titan.

Albeit having no skin, she's f*cking gorgeous, which is just a sweet perk to how amazingly smart and agile she is.

And the expressions she has... both intimidating and badass.
Episode 18, oh yesh! Gimme that action and gimme that cliffhanger.

Totally. The action in the past few episodes made up for the lack of action in the handful before... and the 3D animated environment is just breathtaking.

Episode 19: Awkward flashback was indeed awkward. Still, Survey Corps too strong.
I honestly thought the flashback was present time. I felt stupid knowing that it'll take more than just a loud buzz in your ears to escape the female Titan.

When she was caught by the gratuitous-amount-of-grappling-guns trap, I felt like I was in one of those "choose your path based on what you think is right" games, and I was satisfied with what unfolded. Yay Survey Corps for getting the job done and yay for Levi for making Eren's choice non-mandatory, therefore, worth it.
