She doesn't have an account here and has no real intention of getting one but still asked me to post this.

Is there a particular reason why they aren't maxing out the G2's?

 

Because it sucks. It's literally never going to get the VG circle effect off, unlike G2 Giraffa who may actually be able to stick something down for a turn. It's not as bad as Blaster Dark but you definately don't need 4 when riding the 1 over the 0 searches you a guarenteed Blaukruger.

At the same time it is a nice way to guarantee that stern Blaukruger has an 11k body which is pretty important when defending. Its also good to have 4 when you don't want to rely on your 4/49 chances of drawing the G1 that allows you to search.

 

Also Eisenkugel seems excessive here I would do another street bouncer

But also at the same time it gives you massive dead draws and inconsistency/lack of speed everywhere. Eisenkugel is basicially a free 12k for doing nothing. 18/20k columns are pretty good to have access too.

The whole concept of the deck is just to ride Stern. So adding more G2 of the ride chain doesn't hurt the deck at all. As for Eisenkugel... its not really free, you have to have the G2 or G3 to maintain the 10k I would think it would be more consistent to max out that option.

You imply that anything that isn't named Blaukruger or Stern Blaukruger will ever be on the VG Circle. The thing is she's running 14 G1s. You have the draw 5 and the mull, the chances of not opening with a Blaupanzer are pretty low and the deck can still function with a 10k Stern. And yes, it does hurt the deck by damaging it's offensive G2 pressure line. In a Pressure deck, the last thing I want to be drawing and checking into is a 9k Vanilla. More to the point even if I told her to run 4 Kruger she wouldn't. It's been working fine in all of the tests she's had at locals, she asked me to post this on the forum that I frequent, which happened to be this one to see if it needed any major fixes. Adding Blaukrugers will only fuck your consistency for no good reason. I know nothing of Grapplers yet I know the fact that if you was to do that, the deck's offense line would suffer, and thus the pressure, and thus basicially the whole point of Stern.

Max out Crits in Blaukruger. You want the game to be over as fast as possible or else Blaukruger just gets grinded out and becomes irrelevant in this format. Drop the Gongs for Promotheus, in other words.

Also you want to be playing 3/3 Tough Boy + Dancing Wolf just because Dancing Wolf is vital to Blaukruger actually winning and finishing it while Tough Boy doesn't tend to make too many relevant columns outside of King.

Play at least 3 Bouncer because he's one of the best Nova cards lol.
