Actually this isn't what you think it is. You guys aren't voting over who would win in a fight, but which one of these anime girls deaths:

1. Had the most shock factor?

2. Was more depressing?

3. Was just down right gory?

First Mami Tomoe:

Next Yukiko Hirohara:

Above is the censored version, if you want the the video that isn't ask and I'll PM it to you.[/spoiler]

Alright my vote goes hands down for Yukiko, and while her death is very predictable (if you haven't seen the anime just before this seen her "boyfriend" is killed, and the whole reason she's there is to take revenge on Superbia) I believe it is more depressing, and is definitely more gory.

Gregor vote Mami. Death maybe not as gruesome as Yukiko's, but still fairly bad (what with head eating and crunchy noises), but shock factor bigger to Gregor (as you say, Yukiko's very predictable), given how positive things were immediately prior. Made much crying.

Yes, but Mami's death is predictable as well: she suddenly becomes important to the plot, and is going to make Madoka wish for something like, plus since her death is very early on in the series its not really as depressing since we get to know Yukiko.

Meh... I guess it just a matter of opinion. I just personally feel Mami's death wasn't as bad as Yukiko's. Fact is nobody really expects them to die if you think about considering were they come from:

Mami: She's from a magical girl anime, and nobody ever dies in those

Yukiko: She's the regenerating girl, plus you really don't expect to see something like her death on TV.
