Getting Library + Gearfried + Elma to happen is a pipe dream.

Library has:
Summoner Monk
Shining Angel
Sangan
Photon Veil
Photon Lead
etc
Gearfried has:
RotA
Summoner Monk
Warrior Returning Alive
Invoker
etc
Dagger has:
Hidden Armory
Iron Blacksmith Kotetsu
etc

I'm probably missing some, but this is just off the top of my head.
Wouldn't be all that hard to pull it off, really :/

Also, Rod of Silence - Kay'est could provide the same loop interaction with Dagger that Gearfried does. I'm not 100% positive on that, though.

 

It works for the Vylon Equip Spells, so it should work for this as well. Not to mention doing so means you can just Normal Library and drop the other 2 down.

 

Um...Have you looked at the banlist? It has already been proven guilty. To overturn a conviction you need to provide reasoning as to why.

This probably is the weakest card on the banlist overall but it's just one of those things that restricts future card design too much to be allowed

I promise to you and to God I wouldn't mention things like 'degenerate' -- I think they're poor form, and pointing out which is 'degenerate' has always been in the eye of the beholder, whether it is made in the context of late-nineteenth and early-twentieth anti-Semitic publications or the game you guys are playing.

 

What I will point out is this -- how exactly does Elma being unbanned diversify deckbuilding options without undue emphasis being given on its looping potential?

 

A rhetorical question, yes -- but I'm interested in people's responses, especially that of the OP's.
