I'm actually incredibly busy right now, however I managed to find time in order to attempt at boosting quality in this section.

Someone hurry and hire me for graphic design work so I'll be busy yet productive in regards to my art output.

I wish I understood what's happening here. The logo's well-rendered out, but why has half of it deformed inwards .-. I can only assume it is to match the 'V' of Vanity, but it doesn't need to curve in. It could just cut straight with straight edges. Text seems unneeded. Type it on a path matching to the outline of the glasses?

Otherwise, awesome. As a wearer of cool glasses, I approve this.

Do you use 2.6 of GIMP? Or 2.8? I always used 2.6 on my old laptop, but got my new one for Christmas and had to redownload it. 2.8 can be annoying with the toolbox for some stupid reason.

Oh, and I've got a logo request if you're asking for work. xP

I have CS6, I can't get used to the pen tool for the life of me however. 

And sure, lay it on me, I've got something planned for shops & requests that I need to get done, but after that I'll probably start taking on requests again.

... I haven't actually tried out the pentool. But seing as it's me, the pentool with just do the work for me, seing as though I'm just the best with it. ;3
I don't really like the pentool with GIMP 2.8. :L

The .xcf? I merged all of the layers at the end in order center everything.

It's standing at a mere 3 layers as of now, and post wherever.

When you open up GIMP, the toolbox doesn't open with it. You have to go into Windows>Toolbox to get it back, and sometimes it resets so all of your tabs are gone. You can't Save As to save as PNG, you have to go Export To instead, Save as makes it an xcf.

Hmm.

I'd have to upgrade to 2.8 in order to properly assist you, I'm sure I can find a resolve, however from what you've pointed out it seems as though there isn't much reason too. 

Any new additions I should be aware that might make upgrading plausible?
